⁷ And he took the book of the covenant and read in the audience of the people. And they said, All that Jehovah has spoken will we do and be obedient. ⁸ And Moses took the blood and sprinkled it on the people and said, Behold the blood of the covenant that Jehovah has made with you* concerning all these words.

¹¹ For the life of the flesh is in the blood and I have given it to you* upon the altar to make atonement for your* souls, for it is the blood that makes atonement by reason of the life.

³¹ Behold, the days come, says Jehovah, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah,

¹¹ As for you also, because of the blood of your covenant I have set free your prisoners from the pit in which is no water.

²⁸ just-like the Son of Man did not come to be served to, but to serve and to give his life as a redemption in exchange-for many.

⁴ John came, immersing in the wilderness and preaching the immersion of repentance into the forgiveness of sins.

²⁴ And he said to them, This is my blood, the blood of the new covenant, which is poured out concerning many.

¹⁹ And he took bread and having given-thanks, he broke it and gave to them, saying, This is my body which is given on your behalf. Practice this in my remembrance.

¹⁵ But not like the trespass, so also is the gift. For if the many died by the trespass of the one, the favor of God and the gift by the favor of the one man, Jesus Christ, abounded much more to the many.

⁷ in whom we have our redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses according to the riches of his grace.

¹⁴ in whom we have our redemption, the forgiveness of our sins,

²⁰ and through him to reconcile all things to himself, whether things upon the earth or things upon the heavens, having made peace through the blood of his cross, through him.

¹⁴ how much more the blood of Christ, (who through the everlasting Spirit offered himself unblemished to God), will be cleansing your conscience from dead works, that you may give-divine service to the living God.
¹⁵ And because of this, he is the intermediary of a new covenant, that his death having happened for the redemption of the transgressions that were against the first covenant, that those who have been called may receive the promise of the everlasting inheritance. ¹⁶ For where there is a covenant, it is a necessity for the death of the one who covenanted it to be brought about. ¹⁷ For a covenant is steadfast upon death; since it is never enforced when he who covenanted it is living. ¹⁸ Hence even the first covenant has not been inaugurated without blood. ¹⁹ For when every commandment had been spoken by Moses to all the people according to the law, and when he took the blood of the calves and the male-goats, with water and scarlet wool and hyssop, he sprinkled both the book itself and all the people, ²⁰ saying, ‘This is the blood of the covenant which God commanded toward you.’ ²¹ Now likewise, he also sprinkled the tabernacle and all the vessels of the ministry in the blood. ²² And according to the law, I may say, almost all things are cleansed in blood and no forgiveness happens without the shedding of blood.

²⁸ so the Christ, (having been offered once for all, that he should carry the sins of many), will also be seen a second-time for salvation, separate from sin, to the same who are waiting for him.

⁴ For it is impossible that the blood of oxen and male-goats should take away sins. ⁵ Hence when he enters into the world, he says, ‘You did not wish to have sacrifice and offering, but you, yourself, completed a body for me. ⁶ You were not delighted in whole burnt-offerings and sacrifices concerning sin. ⁷ Then I said, (as it has been written concerning me in the volume of the book), Behold, I am coming to do your will, O God.’ ⁸ After saying this above, You do not wish, nor were you delighted in sacrifice and offering and whole burnt-offerings and sacrifices concerning sin, (which are offered according to the law), ⁹ then he has said, ‘Behold, I am coming to do your will, O God.’He assassinates
the first covenant, in order that he should establish the second covenant, ¹⁰ in which will, we have been made holy through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. ¹¹ And indeed every priest stands every day ministering and often offering the same sacrifices, which are never able to take away sins. ¹² But having offered one continual sacrifice on behalf of sins, he sat down at the right hand of God; ¹³ furthermore waiting until his enemies should be placed under the footstool of his feet. ¹⁴ For he has completed in one continual offering those who are made holy.

²⁰ Now the God of peace, who brought up the great shepherd of the sheep, our Lord Jesus, from the dead in the blood of an everlasting covenant,

² And he is the atonement concerning our sins, but not concerning ours only, but also concerning the whole world.

⁹ I saw and behold after these things, a large crowd, which no one was able to number, out of every nation and tribes and peoples and languages, standing in the sight of the throne and in the sight of the Lamb, having been dressed in white robes and palm trees in their hands;

¹⁴ And I said to him, My lord, you know.
And he said to me, These are those who are coming out of the great affliction and they have rinsed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
