⁸ Heal the sick; cleanse the lepers; cast out demons; freely you received, freely you give.

¹⁵ And he returned to the man of God, he and all his company and came and stood before him. And he said, Behold, now I know that there is no God in all the earth, but in Israel. Now therefore, I beseech you, take a present from your servant. ¹⁶ But he said, As Jehovah lives, before whom I stand, I will receive none. And he urged him to take it, but he refused.

²⁰ But Gehazi the servant of Elisha the man of God, said, Behold, my master has spared this Naaman the Syrian, in not receiving at his hands what he brought. As Jehovah lives, I will run after him and take something from him.
²¹ So Gehazi followed after Naaman. And when Naaman saw him running after him, he alighted from the chariot to meet him and said, Is all well? ²² And he said, All is well. My master has sent me, saying, Behold, even now there come to me from the hill-country of Ephraim two young men of the sons of the prophets. I beseech you, give them a talant of silver and two changes of garments.
²³ And Naaman said, Be pleased to take two talants. And he urged him and bound two talants of silver in two bags, with two changes of garments and laid them upon two of his servants and they bore them before him. ²⁴ And when he came to the hill, he took them from their hand and bestowed them in the house and he let the men go and they departed.
²⁵ But he went in and stood before his master. And Elisha said to him, From where did you come, Gehazi? And he said, Your servant went nowhere. ²⁶ And he said to him, Did not my heart go with you when the man turned from his chariot to meet you? Is it a time to receive money and to receive garments and olive-groves and vineyards and sheep and oxen and men-servants and maidservants? ²⁷ The leprosy therefore of Naaman will cling to you and to your seed everlasting. And he went out from his presence a leper as white as snow.

¹ And having called his twelve disciples, he gave to them authority over unclean spirits, so-that they are able to cast them out, and to heal every kind of disease and every kind of illness.

¹⁸ they will be lifting up serpents and even if they drink anything deadly, it may never harm them; they will lay hands upon the sick and they will be well.

⁹ and heal the sick who are in it and say to them, The kingdom of God has drawn near to you.

⁶ But Peter said, I do not possess silver and gold, but what I have, that I am giving to you. In the name of Jesus Christ from Nazareth, arise and walk.

⁹ if we are examined today on the basis of a good work done to a sick man and by what means this one has been cured. ¹⁰ Let it be known to you all here and to all the people of Israel, that in the name of Jesus Christ from Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised up from the dead; in him, this one who is standing in your sight is healthy.

³⁰ in that you stretched out your hand for healing, and signs and wonders to happen through the name of your holy young-servant Jesus.

¹² Now through the hands of the apostles many signs and wonders were happening among the people, and they were all united at Solomon’s porch. ¹³ But none of the rest were daring to join himself to them, but the people were extolling them; ¹⁴ and more believers, multitudes of both men and women, were added to the Lord; ¹⁵ so-that they even carried out the sick in the streets to lay them upon cots and pallets, in order that, when Peter came by, if-only his shadow might overshadow anyone of them.

¹⁸ But when Simon saw that through the laying on of the apostles’hands the Holy Spirit is given, he offered them monies, ¹⁹ saying, Give to me also this authority, in order that I may lay my hands on whomever, and he may receive the Holy Spirit.
²⁰ But Peter said to him, May your silver together with you be sent into destruction, because you have thought to procure the gift of God through monies! ²¹ You have neither part nor inheritance in this word, for this heart of yours is not straight in God’s sight. ²² Therefore repent from this, your malice, and beseech God; if, then, the deliberation of your heart will be forgiven to you. ²³ For I see that you are in the gall of bitterness and in the bond of unrighteousness.

³³ I coveted no one’s silver or gold or garment. ³⁴ You yourselves know that these hands attended to my needs, and to those being with me. ³⁵ I showed to you an example in all things, that so laboring, it is essential to help the weak and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that he himself said, It is more fortunate to give than to receive.
