² And after six days Jesus takes with him Peter and James and John and brings them up alone into a high mountain privately, and he was transfigured before them;

¹³ And Moses rose up and Joshua his minister and Moses went up onto the mountain of God.

²⁹ And it happened, when Moses came down from Mount Sinai with the two tablets of the testimony in Moses' hand, when he came down from the mountain, that Moses did not know that the skin of his face shone by reason of his speaking with him.
³⁰ And when Aaron and all the sons of Israel saw Moses, behold, the skin of his face shone and they were afraid to come near him. ³¹ And Moses called to them. And Aaron and all the rulers of the congregation returned to him and Moses spoke to them. ³² And afterward all the sons of Israel came near and he gave them in commandment all that Jehovah had spoken with him on Mount Sinai.
³³ And when Moses was done speaking with them, he put a veil on his face. ³⁴ But when Moses went in before Jehovah to speak with him, he took the veil off, until he came out. And he came out and spoke to the sons of Israel what he was commanded. ³⁵ And the sons of Israel saw the face of Moses, that the skin of Moses' face shone. And Moses put the veil upon his face again until he went in to speak with him.

³³ And he put the wood in order and cut the bullock in pieces and laid it on the wood. And he said, Fill four jars with water and pour it on the burnt offering and on the wood.

⁴² So Ahab went up to eat and to drink. And Elijah went up to the top of Carmel and he bowed himself down upon the earth and put his face between his knees.

¹⁷ Your eyes will see the king in his beauty. They will behold a land that reaches afar.

² For he grew up before him as a tender plant and as a root out of a dry ground. He has no form nor comeliness. And when we see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.

¹³ And when Jesus heard it, he departed from there in a ship, privately to a desolate place, and when the crowds heard of it, they followed him on foot from the cities.

¹ And after six days Jesus takes with him Peter and James and John his brother, and privately brings them up into a high mountain. ² And he was transfigured before them, and his face shined like the sun, and his garments became white like the light. ³ And behold, Moses and Elijah appeared to them, speaking together with him.
⁴ Now Peter answered and said to Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here; if you will it. Should we make three tabernacles here; one for you and one for Moses and one for Elijah?
⁵ While he is still speaking, behold, a radiant cloud overshadowed them, and behold, a voice out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am delighted; hear him!
⁶ And when the disciples heard it, they fell upon their face, and were extremely afraid. ⁷ And Jesus came and touched them and said, Arise and do not be afraid. ⁸ Now they saw no one, having lifting up their eyes, except Jesus only.

¹¹ Now Jesus answered and said to them, Indeed Elijah comes first and will be restoring all things. ¹² But I am saying to you, that Elijah already came, and they did not recognize him, but did as many things as they wished to him. So the Son of Man is also about to suffer by them. ¹³ Then the disciples understood that he spoke to them concerning John the Immerser.

³⁷ And he allowed no one to follow him, except Peter and James and John the brother of James.

³³ And he takes with him Peter and James and John, and began to be utterly amazed and disheartened.

¹² Now after these things, he was manifested in a different form to two out of them while they are walking, traveling into the rural-area.

¹² Now it happened in these days, that he went out into the mountain to pray, and he was persisting through the night in prayer to God.

²⁸ Now it happened approximately eight days after these words, that he took with him Peter and John and James, and went up into the mountain to pray. ²⁹ And while he was praying, the form of his face was a different form, and his garments became white and dazzling. ³⁰ And behold, two men were speaking together with him, who were Moses and Elijah; ³¹ who appeared in glory, and were telling of his exodus which he was about to fulfill in Jerusalem. ³² Now Peter and those who were together with him were heavy with sleep; but then having thoroughly awaken, they saw his glory and the two men standing together with him.
³³ And it happened, while they were separating from him, Peter said to Jesus, Master, it is good for us to be here, and we should make three tabernacles: one for you and one for Moses and one for Elijah; (not knowing exactly what he is saying).
³⁴ Now while saying these things, there became a cloud and overshadowed them, and they feared while those men were entering into the cloud. ³⁵ And a voice came out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son; hear him. ³⁶ And while the voice happened, Jesus was found alone. And they were silent and reported to no one in those days, any of the things which they had seen.

¹⁴ And the Word became flesh and resided among us (and we saw his glory, glory like that of the only begotten from the Father), full of favor and truth.

² And not to fashion yourselves to this age, but be transfigured by the renewal of your mind, that you may be proving in you what is the will of God: the good and acceptable and mature.

⁷ But if the service of death, on scriptures having been engraved in stones, happened in glory, so-that the sons of Israel were not able to stare at the face of Moses because of the glory of his countenance, which was being done-away-with. ⁸ How will the service of the Spirit not rather be in glory? ⁹ For if the service of condemnation has glory, how much rather is the service of righteousness abounding in glory. ¹⁰ For even what has also been glorified, has not been glorified in this respect, because of the glory which surpasses it.

¹ This will be the third-time I am coming to you. (Upon the mouth of two or three witnesses every declaration will be established.)

⁶ who, existing in the form of God, did not deem it a seizure to be equal to God, ⁷ but emptied himself, having taken the form of a bondservant, having become in the likeness of men; ⁸ and having been found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, having become obedient as far as death, and even death from a cross.

²¹ He will fashion the body of our humbleness, that it may become transformed to the body of his glory, according to the working of which he is able to even subject all things to himself.

¹⁶ For we did not follow wisely devised fables, when we made known to you the power and presence of our Lord Jesus Christ, but in that, we became eyewitnesses of that majesty. ¹⁷ For having received honor and glory from God the Father, when such a voice was carried to him by the Majestic Glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am delighted. ¹⁸ And we heard this voice, having been carried from heaven, being together with him in the holy mountain.

¹³ And one similar to a son of man was in the middle of the seven lamp-stands. He has clothed himself with a long-robe and the breasts are girded around with a golden belt. ¹⁴ Now his head and his hair were white like white wool, like snow, and his eyes were like a flame of fire; ¹⁵ and his feet similar to polished brass, like what has been refined in a furnace, and his voice like the voice of many waters. ¹⁶ And he has in his right hand seven stars and a sharp two edged long-sword traveled out from his mouth and his appearance was as the sun appears in its power. ¹⁷ And when I saw him, I fell like one dead at his feet. And he placed his right hand upon me, saying, Do not fear; I am the first and the last,

¹¹ And I saw a great white throne and the one who sits upon it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away, and no place was found for them.
