¹⁵ And he traveled and joined himself to one of the citizens of that region, and he sent him into his field to feed swine.

³ And Moses and Aaron went in to Pharaoh and said to him, Jehovah says thus, the God of the Hebrews, How long will you refuse to humble yourself before me? Let my people go, that they may serve me.

²² And in the time of his distress he trespassed yet more against Jehovah, this same king Ahaz.

⁵ Why will you* still be stricken, that you* revolt more and more? The whole head is sick and the whole heart faint.

⁹ Unless Jehovah of hosts had left to us a seed, we should have been as Sodom, we should have been like Gomorrah. ¹⁰ Hear the word of Jehovah, you* rulers of Sodom, listen to the law of our God, you* people of Gomorrah.
¹¹ What to me is the multitude of your* sacrifices? says Jehovah. I have had enough of the burnt offerings of rams and the fat of fed beasts. And I do not delight in the blood of bullocks or of lambs or of male-goats. ¹² When you* come to appear before me, who has required this at your* hand–to trample my courts?
¹³ Bring no more vain oblations. Incense is an abomination to me. New moon and Sabbath, the calling of assemblies–I cannot bear wickedness and the solemn assembly.

¹⁷ For the iniquity of his covetousness I was angry and killed* him. I hid my face and was angry and he went on backsliding in the way of his heart.

³ O Jehovah, do not your eyes look upon truth? You have stricken them, but they were not grieved. You have consumed them, but they have refused to receive correction. They have made their faces harder than a rock. They have refused to return.

⁴ Moreover you will say to them, Jehovah says thus: Shall men fall and not rise up again? Shall he turn away and not return? ⁵ Why has this people of Jerusalem then slid back by a perpetual backsliding? They hold firm deceit. They refuse to return. ⁶ I listened and heard, but they did not speak aright. No man repents of his wickedness, saying, What have I done? Everyone turns to his course as a horse that rushes headlong in the battle.

¹⁸ I have surely heard Ephraim sympathize within himself saying, You have disciplined me and I was disciplined as a calf unaccustomed to the yoke. Turn me back and I will be turned back, for you are Jehovah my God.
¹⁹ Surely after that I was turned back. I repented and after I was instructed, I killed* upon my thigh. I was ashamed, yes, even confounded, because I bore the reproach of my youth.

⁵² You also, bear your own shame, in that you have given judgment for your sisters, through your sins that you have committed more abominable than they. They are more righteous than you. Yes, be also confounded and bear your shame, in that you have justified your sisters.

⁶³ that you may remember and be confounded and never open your mouth any more, because of your shame, when I have forgiven you all that you have done, says the lord Jehovah.

⁶ And I will cast abominable filth upon you and make you vile and will set you as a gazing-stock.

⁹ Therefore I also have made you* contemptible and base before all the people, just-as you* have not kept my ways, but have had respect of persons in the law.

³² Now a considerable herd of swine was there, feeding at the mountain. And he was pleading with him in order that he might permit them to enter into those swine. And he permitted them. ³³ Now the demons having gone out from the man, entered into the swine, and the herd rushed down the cliff into the lake and were choking to death. ³⁴ Now when those who are feeding them saw what had happened, they fled and reported it in the city and in the rural-area.

¹³ And not many days after, the younger son gathered it all together and went-abroad into a far region, and he squandered his estate with riotous living there.

²⁴ Hence also, God gave them up in the lusts of their hearts into uncleanness, that their bodies should be dishonored among themselves. ²⁵ They exchanged the truth of God into a lie and worshiped and gave-divine service to the created thing contrary to the one who created it, who is gracious forever. Amen.
²⁶ Because of this, God gave them up to passions of dishonor; for even their females exchanged the natural use into what is contrary to anything natural;

²² But now, having been made free from sin and having been enslaved to God, you have your fruit leading to holiness and the end everlasting life.

⁹ Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not be inheriting the kingdom of God? Do not be misled. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor pedophiles, nor homosexuals, ¹⁰ nor the greedy ones, nor thieves, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will be inheriting the kingdom of God. ¹¹ And some of you were these, but you were fully-washed, but you were made holy, but you were made righteous in the name of the Lord Jesus and in the Spirit of our God.

² in which you previously walked according to the age of this world, according to the ruler of the authority of the air, of the spirit which now is working in the sons of disobedience; ³ among whom we also all conducted ourselves previously in the lusts of our flesh, practicing the wills of the flesh and of the mind and we were children of wrath by nature, even as the rest.

¹⁷ Therefore I am saying and testifying this in the Lord: you are to walk no longer as the rest of the Gentiles are also walking, in the futility of their mind, ¹⁸ having been darkened in their mind, having been alienated from the life of God because of the ignorance which is in them, because of the hardening of their heart, ¹⁹ who are apathetic, gave themselves up to unbridled-lusts, for the working of all uncleanness in greed.

¹¹ And have no fellowship together with the unfruitful works of darkness, but also rather reprove them; ¹² for it is shameful even to speak of the things happening by them covertly.

⁵ Therefore mortify your members which are upon the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire and greed, which is idolatry. ⁶ Because of which things the wrath of God is coming upon the sons of disobedience; ⁷ among whom you also previously walked, when you were living in these things.

²⁵ in meekness educating those who are placing themselves in opposition; if maybe God might give them repentance to come to the full knowledge of the truth, ²⁶ and they might sober up out of the snare of the devil, having been caught live by him to that man’s will.

³ For we were also previously foolish, disobedient, being misled, serving in various lusts and sensual-delights, leading lives in malice and envy, spiteful, hating one another.

²¹ And I gave some time to her, in order that she might repent, and she is not willing to repent from her fornication. ²² Behold, I cast her onto a bed and those who are committing adultery with her into great affliction, if they do not repent from her works.
