¹ And Jehovah spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying, ² When a man will have in the skin of his flesh a rising, or a scab, or a bright spot and it becomes in the skin of his flesh a leprous disease, then he will be brought to Aaron the priest, or to one of his sons the priests. ³ And the priest will look on the disease in the skin of the flesh and if the hair in the disease has turned white and the appearance of the disease is deeper than the skin of his flesh, it is a leprous disease. And the priest will look on him and pronounce him unclean. ⁴ And if the bright spot is white in the skin of his flesh and the appearance of it is not deeper than the skin and the hair of it has not turned white, then the priest will shut up the disease seven days.
⁵ And the priest will look on him the seventh day, and behold, if in his eyes the disease is arrested and the disease is not spread in the skin, then the priest will shut him up seven days more.
⁶ And the priest will look on him again the seventh day, and behold, if the disease is dim and the disease has not spread in the skin, then the priest will pronounce him clean. It is a scab and he will wash his clothes and be clean. ⁷ But if the scab spreads abroad in the skin after he has shown himself to the priest for his cleansing, he will show himself to the priest again. ⁸ And the priest will look, and behold, if the scab is spread in the skin, then the priest will pronounce him unclean. It is a leprous disease.
⁹ When the leprous disease is in a man, then he will be brought to the priest. ¹⁰ And the priest will look, and behold, if there is a white rising in the skin and it has turned the hair white and there is quick raw flesh in the rising, ¹¹ it is an old leprous disease in the skin of his flesh and the priest will pronounce him unclean. He will not shut him up, for he is unclean.
¹² And if the leprous disease breaks out abroad in the skin and the leprous disease covers all the skin of the disease from his head even to his feet, as far as appears to the priest, ¹³ then the priest will look. And behold, if the leprous disease has covered all his flesh, he will pronounce him clean of the disease. It is all turned white; he is clean. ¹⁴ But whenever raw flesh appears in him, he will be unclean. ¹⁵ And the priest will look on the raw flesh and pronounce him unclean. The raw flesh is unclean; it is a leprous disease. ¹⁶ Or if the raw flesh turns again and is changed to white, then he will come to the priest. ¹⁷ And the priest will look on him, and behold, if the disease is turned into white, then the priest will pronounce him clean of the disease; he is clean.
¹⁸ And when the flesh has a boil in the skin of it and it is healed, ¹⁹ and in the place of the boil there is a white rising, or a bright spot, reddish-white, then it will be shown to the priest. ²⁰ And the priest will look, and behold, if the appearance of it is deeper than the skin and the hair of it has turned white, then the priest will pronounce him unclean. It is a leprous disease; it has broken out in the boil. ²¹ But if the priest looks on it, and behold, there are no white hairs in it and it is not deeper than the skin, but is dim, then the priest will shut him up seven days. ²² And if it spreads abroad in the skin, then the priest will pronounce him unclean; it is a disease. ²³ But if the bright spot stays in its place and has not spread, it is the scar of the boil and the priest will pronounce him clean.
²⁴ Or when the flesh has a burning by fire in the skin of it and the quick of the burning become a bright spot, reddish-white, or white, ²⁵ then the priest will look upon it. And behold, if the hair in the bright spot has turned white and the appearance of it is deeper than the skin, it is a leprous disease. It has broken out in the burning and the priest will pronounce him unclean; it is a leprous disease. ²⁶ But if the priest looks on it, and behold, there is no white hair in the bright spot and it is no deeper than the skin, but is dim, then the priest will shut him up seven days.
²⁷ And the priest will look upon him the seventh day. If it spread abroad in the skin, then the priest will pronounce him unclean; it is a leprous disease. ²⁸ And if the bright spot stays in its place and has not spread in the skin, but is dim, it is the rising of the burning and the priest will pronounce him clean, for it is the scar of the burning.
²⁹ And when a man or woman has a disease upon the head or upon the beard, ³⁰ then the priest will look on the disease. And behold, if the appearance of it is deeper than the skin and there is yellow thin hair in it, then the priest will pronounce him unclean; it is a scale. It is a leprous disease of the head or of the beard. ³¹ And if the priest looks on the disease of the scale, and behold, the appearance of it is not deeper than the skin and there is no black hair in it, then the priest will shut up the disease of the scale seven days.
³² And in the seventh day the priest will look on the disease, and behold, if the scale has not spread and there is in it no yellow hair and the appearance of the scale is not deeper than the skin, ³³ then he will be shaven, but the scale he will not shave and the priest will shut up he who has the scale seven days more.
³⁴ And in the seventh day the priest will look on the scale, and behold, if the scale has not spread in the skin and the appearance of it is not deeper than the skin, then the priest will pronounce him clean. And he will wash his clothes and be clean. ³⁵ But if the scale spreads abroad in the skin after his cleansing, ³⁶ then the priest will look on him. And behold, if the scale has spread in the skin, the priest will not seek for the yellow hair, he is unclean. ³⁷ But if in his eyes the scale is arrested and black hair is grown up in it, the scale is healed. He is clean and the priest will pronounce him clean.
³⁸ And when a man or a woman has bright spots in the skin of the flesh, even white bright spots, ³⁹ then the priest will look. And behold, if the bright spots in the skin of their flesh are of a dull white, it is a eczema. It has broken out in the skin; he is clean.
⁴⁰ And if a man's hair has fallen off his head, he is bald; he is clean. ⁴¹ And if his hair has fallen off from the front part of his head, he is forehead bald; he is clean.
⁴² But if there is a reddish-white disease in the bald head, or the bald forehead, it is a leprous disease breaking out in his bald head, or his bald forehead. ⁴³ Then the priest will look upon him, and behold, if the rising of the disease is reddish-white in his bald head, or in his bald forehead, as the appearance of a leprous disease in the skin of the flesh, ⁴⁴ he is a leprous man; he is unclean. The priest will surely pronounce him unclean; his disease is on his head.
⁴⁵ And the man with a leprous disease in whom the disease is, his clothes will be torn and the hair of his head will go loose and he will cover his upper lip and will cry, Unclean, unclean. ⁴⁶ All the days in which the disease is in him he will be unclean; he is unclean. He will dwell alone; his dwelling will be outside the camp.
⁴⁷ The garment also that a leprous disease is in, whether it is a woolen garment, or a linen garment, ⁴⁸ whether it is in warp, or woof, of linen, or of woolen, whether in a skin, or in anything made of skin, ⁴⁹ if the disease is greenish or reddish in the garment, or in the skin, or in the warp, or in the woof, or in anything of skin, it is a leprous disease and will be shown to the priest. ⁵⁰ And the priest will look upon the disease and shut up the disease seven days.
⁵¹ And he will look on the disease on the seventh day. If the disease has spread in the garment, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in the skin, whatever service skin is used for, the disease is a prickling leprosy, it is unclean. ⁵² And he will burn the garment, whether the warp or the woof, in woolen or in linen, or anything of skin, in which the disease is, for it is a prickling leprosy. It will be burnt in the fire.
⁵³ And if the priest will look, and behold, the disease has not spread in the garment, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in anything of skin, ⁵⁴ then the priest will command that they wash the thing in which the disease is and he will shut it up seven more days.
⁵⁵ And the priest will look, after the disease is washed, and behold, if the disease has not changed its color and the disease has not spread, it is unclean. You will burn it in the fire. It is a fret, whether the bareness be inside or outside. ⁵⁶ And if the priest looks, and behold, the disease is dim after the washing of it, then he will tear it out of the garment, or out of the skin, or out of the warp, or out of the woof. ⁵⁷ And if it still appears in the garment, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in anything of skin, it is breaking out. You will burn that in which the disease is with fire.
⁵⁸ And the garment, either the warp, or the woof, or whatever thing of skin it be, which you will wash, if the disease has departed from them, then it will be washed the second time and will be clean. ⁵⁹ This is the law of a leprous disease in a garment of woolen or linen, either in the warp, or the woof, or anything of skin, to pronounce it clean, or to pronounce it unclean.

⁶ And Jehovah said furthermore to him, Put now your hand into your bosom. And he put his hand into his bosom. And when he took it out, behold, his hand was leprous, as snow. ⁷ And he said, Put your hand into your bosom again. And he put his hand into his bosom again and when he took it out of his bosom, behold, it was turned again as his other flesh.

³ and the priest will go forth out of the camp. And the priest will look, and behold, if a leprous disease be healed in the man with a leprous disease,

³⁵ then he who owns the house will come and tell the priest, saying, There seems to me to be as it were a disease in the house.

⁵⁶ and for a rising and for a scab and for a bright spot,

¹⁰ And the cloud removed from over the tent. And behold, Miriam was leprous, as snow. And Aaron looked upon Miriam, and behold, she was leprous.

¹² Let her not, I pray, be as one dead, of whom the flesh is half consumed when he comes out of his mother's womb.

⁸ If there arise a matter too hard for you in judgment, between blood and blood, between plea and plea and between stroke and stroke, being matters of controversy within your gates, then you will arise and get you up to the place which Jehovah your God will choose. ⁹ And you will come to the priests the Levites and to the judge who will be in those days and you will inquire. And they will show you the sentence of judgment.

⁸ Take heed in the disease of leprosy, that you observe diligently and do according to all that the priests the Levites will teach you*. As I commanded them, so you* will observe to do.

²⁷ Jehovah will kill* you with the boils of Egypt and with the tumors and with the scurvy and with the itch, of which you cannot be healed.

²⁹ Let it fall upon the head of Joab and upon all his father's house. And let there not fail from the house of Joab one who has a discharge, or who is a leper, or who leans on a staff, or who falls by the sword, or who lacks bread.

¹ Now Naaman, captain of the army of the king of Syria, was a great man with his master and honorable, because by him Jehovah had given victory to Syria. He was also a mighty man of valor, but he was a leper.

²⁷ The leprosy therefore of Naaman will cling to you and to your seed everlasting. And he went out from his presence a leper as white as snow.

¹⁹ Then Uzziah was angry. And he had a censer in his hand to burn incense. And while he was angry with the priests, the leprosy broke forth in his forehead before the priests in the house of Jehovah, beside the altar of incense. ²⁰ And Azariah the chief priest and all the priests, looked upon him, and behold, he was leprous in his forehead. And they thrust him out quickly from there. Yes, he himself also hastened to go out, because Jehovah had struck him.
²¹ And Uzziah the king was a leper to the day of his death and dwelt in a separate house, being a leper. For he was cut off from the house of Jehovah and Jotham his son was over the king's house, judging the people of the land.

⁶ From the sole of the foot even to the head there is no soundness in it, but wounds and bruises and fresh stripes. They have not been closed nor bound up nor soothed with oil.

¹⁷ therefore the Lord will kill* with a scab the crown of the head of the daughters of Zion and Jehovah will lay bare their secret parts.

⁷ For the priest's lips should keep knowledge and they should seek the law at his mouth. For he is the messenger of Jehovah of hosts.

⁴ And Jesus says to him, See that you speak to no one, but go, show yourself to the priest and offer the gift that Moses commanded, for a testimony to them.

⁴⁴ and says to him, See that you say nothing to anyone, but go; show yourself to the priest, and offer the things which Moses commanded concerning your cleansing for a testimony to them.

¹⁴ And he commanded him to tell no one, saying, But when you go away, show yourself to the priest and offer the gift concerning your cleansing, just-as Moses commanded, for a testimony to them.

¹⁴ And when he saw them, he said to them, When you travel back, show yourselves to the priests.
And it happened, while they were going, they were cleansed.

³ And he went on his journeys from the South even to Bethel, to the place where his tent had been at the beginning, between Bethel and Ai,

¹⁰ and that you* may make a distinction between the holy and the common and between the unclean and the clean,

² When a man will have in the skin of his flesh a rising, or a scab, or a bright spot and it becomes in the skin of his flesh a leprous disease, then he will be brought to Aaron the priest, or to one of his sons the priests.

³⁰ How weak is your heart, says the lord Jehovah, seeing you do all these things, the work of an impudent prostitute,

²³ And they will teach my people the difference between the holy and the common and cause them to discern between the unclean and the clean.

⁹ Strangers have devoured his strength and he does not know. Yes, gray hairs are here and there upon him and he does not know.

¹¹ Jehovah of hosts says thus: Ask now the priests concerning the law, saying,

¹⁹ I will be giving to you the keys of the kingdom of the heavens, and whatever you bind upon the earth will have already been bound in the heavens, and whatever you loose upon the earth will have already been loosed in the heavens.

¹⁷ But if he refuses to hear them, tell it to the congregation, and if he also refuses to hear the congregation, let him be just-like the Gentile and the tax collector to you.
¹⁸ Assuredly, I am saying to you again, As many things as you may bind upon the earth will have already been bound in heaven, and as many things as you may loose upon earth will have already been loosed in heaven.

²³ If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven to them by God; if you hold-fast anyone’s sins, those sins have been held-fast.

²⁸ Therefore, take-heed to yourselves and to all the flock, in which the Holy Spirit placed you as overseers, to shepherd the congregation of the Lord and God, which the Lord acquired through his own blood.

¹⁹ Now we know how-much, as many things as the law says, it is speaking to those in the law; in order that every mouth may be sealed and all the world may become under the sentence of God; ²⁰ because no flesh will be made righteous in his sight from the works of the law; for through the law comes the full knowledge of sin.

⁷ Therefore what shall we say? Is the law sin? Let it not happen! But, I did not know sin, except through the law; for I also did not know coveting.

⁴ in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. When you and my spirit are gathered together, together with the power of our Lord Jesus, ⁵ to give such a one to the Adversary for the utter-destruction of the flesh, in order that the spirit might be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.
⁶ Your boasting is not good. Do you not know that a little leaven leavens the whole batch?

¹⁴ And if anyone is not obeying our word through this letter, mark that man and do not socialize together with him, in order that he may be embarrassed. ¹⁵ And yet do not deem him as an enemy, but admonish him like a brother.

²⁰ of whom are Hymenaeus and Alexander; whom I gave to the Adversary, in order that they might be disciplined not to blaspheme.

¹⁶ But avoid profane empty-talks; for they will progress on to more ungodliness, ¹⁷ and their word will hold an eating-away like gangrene; of whom are Hymenaeus and Philetus.

¹³ But evil men and impostors will be progressing from bad on to worse, misleading and being misled.

⁷ Remember your leaders, men who spoke to you the word of God, and review the outcome of their conduct; imitate the faith of such.

²³ And I will be killing her children with death, and all the congregations will know that I am he who is searching the kidneys and hearts and I will be giving to you, each one according to your works.

¹⁵ And Miriam was shut up outside the camp seven days. And the people journeyed not till Miriam was brought in again.

¹⁴ then you will inquire and make search and ask diligently. And behold, if it is true and the thing certain, that such abomination is worked in the midst of you,

¹⁰ But the Levites who went far from me, when Israel went-astray, who went-astray from me after their idols, they will bear their iniquity.

⁵ So-then, do not judge anything before the time, until the Lord should come, who will both be illuminating the hidden things of darkness and will be manifesting the plans of the hearts, and then the praise from God will happen for each.

²⁴ Some men’s sins are evident, leading them into judgment, but even for some, they are also following after them later.

²⁵ And whoever bears any of the carcass of them will wash his clothes and be unclean until the evening.

²⁸ And he who bears the carcass of them will wash his clothes and be unclean until the evening; they are unclean to you*.

⁴⁰ And he who eats of the carcass of it will wash his clothes and be unclean until the evening. He also who bears the carcass of it will wash his clothes and be unclean until the evening.

⁸ And he who is to be cleansed will wash his clothes and shave off all his hair and bathe himself in water and he will be clean. And after that he will come into the camp, but will dwell outside his tent seven days.

⁵ They have dealt corruptly with him. They are not his sons, it is their blemish, a perverse and crooked generation.

³⁸ whatever prayer and supplication be made by any man, or by all your people Israel, who will know every man the plague of his own heart and spread forth his hands toward this house,

⁴⁵ then hear you in heaven their prayer and their supplication and maintain their cause.

¹² Who can discern his errors? Acquit me from hidden sins.

⁹ Who can say, I have made my heart clean. I am pure from my sin?

²⁰ Surely there is not a righteous man upon earth that does good and does not sin.

³ And his delight will be in the fear of Jehovah. And he will not judge according to the sight of his eyes, nor decide according to the hearing of his ears, ⁴ but with righteousness he will judge the poor and decide with equity for the meek of the earth.
And he will kill* the earth with the rod of his mouth and with the breath of his lips he will kill the wicked.

³ A bruised reed he will not break and a dimly burning wick he will not quench, but he will bring forth justice in truth.

⁸ Peter says to him, Never wash my feet.
Jesus answered him, If I do not wash you, you have no part with me.
⁹ Simon Peter says to him, Lord, not only my feet, but also the hands and the head.
¹⁰ Jesus says to him, He who has been fully-washed does not need to wash himself, other than the feet, but is entirely clean and you are clean, but not all.

¹ But receive the one who is weak in the faith, yet not for the judging of his reasonings.

¹ Therefore beloved, having these promises, we should cleanse ourselves from all defilement of flesh and spirit, completing holiness in the fear of God.

¹⁰ being only fleshly ordinances, (upon the basis of foods, drinks and assorted ceremonial washings), laid upon us till a time of reformation.

²² let us come near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, our hearts having been sprinkled away from an evil conscience and our body, having been fully-washed in clean water.

² For we all trip in many things. If anyone does not trip in speech, this one is a mature man, is also able to bridle the whole body.

⁷ But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son is cleansing us from every sin. ⁸ If we should say that we have no sin, we are misleading ourselves and the truth is not in us. ⁹ If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

²² And show-mercy to some, making a distinction; ²³ but save others in fear, seizing them out of the fire, hating even the tunic which has been stained from the flesh.

²⁷ And the priest will look upon him the seventh day. If it spread abroad in the skin, then the priest will pronounce him unclean; it is a leprous disease.

³⁵ But if the scale spreads abroad in the skin after his cleansing, ³⁶ then the priest will look on him. And behold, if the scale has spread in the skin, the priest will not seek for the yellow hair, he is unclean.

³ There is no soundness in my flesh because of your indignation, nor is there any health in my bones because of my sin.

⁵ Why will you* still be stricken, that you* revolt more and more? The whole head is sick and the whole heart faint. ⁶ From the sole of the foot even to the head there is no soundness in it, but wounds and bruises and fresh stripes. They have not been closed nor bound up nor soothed with oil.

¹² Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body, that you might obey it in its lusts; ¹³ nor present your members as weapons of unrighteousness to sin, but present yourselves to God, as living from the dead and your members as weapons of righteousness to God. ¹⁴ For sin will not have lordship over you; for you are not under the law, but under grace.

³ And the priest will look on the disease in the skin of the flesh and if the hair in the disease has turned white and the appearance of the disease is deeper than the skin of his flesh, it is a leprous disease. And the priest will look on him and pronounce him unclean.

⁷ You hypocrites! Isaiah prophesied well concerning you, saying, ⁸ ‘These people are drawing near to me with their mouth, and are honoring me with their lips, but their heart is faraway from me.

²¹ You have neither part nor inheritance in this word, for this heart of yours is not straight in God’s sight.

¹⁸ For many are walking, (of whom I was speaking to you often about them; now I am also telling you, weeping), who are the enemies of the cross of Christ: ¹⁹ whose end is destruction, whose god is the belly and whose glory is in their shame, who are mindful of earthly things.

¹⁹ They are promising them freedom, when they themselves are bondservants of corruption. For in what anyone has been succumbed, in this, he has also been enslaved.

³ And the priest will look on the disease in the skin of the flesh and if the hair in the disease has turned white and the appearance of the disease is deeper than the skin of his flesh, it is a leprous disease. ¹ He who loves correction loves knowledge, but he who hates reproof is stupid.

¹⁰ They hate he who reproves in the gate and they abhor he who speaks uprightly.

¹⁹ Now this is the judgment, that the light has come into the world and men loved the darkness rather than the light; for their works were evil. ²⁰ For everyone who is practicing evil, hates the light, and is not coming to the light, in order that his works should not convict him.

⁷ The world is not able to hate you, but it hates me, because I am testifying concerning it, that its works are evil.

⁴ Behold, I am of small account. What shall I answer you? I lay my hand upon my mouth.

⁶ Therefore I abhor myself and repent in dust and ashes.

⁶ For we have all become as unclean and all our righteous acts are as a menstruation cloth. And we all fade as a leaf. And our iniquities, like the wind, take us away.

⁸ And when he has come, that one will be convicting the world concerning sin and concerning righteousness and concerning judgment. ⁹ Concerning sin, indeed, because they did not believe in me;

¹⁴ For we know that the law is spiritual, but I am fleshly, having been sold under sin.

⁸ If we should say that we have no sin, we are misleading ourselves and the truth is not in us. ⁹ If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. ¹⁰ If we should say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar and his word is not in us.

⁴¹ Jesus said to them, If you were blind, you would have no sin, but now you say, We see, therefore your sin remains.

¹⁴ For we know that the law is spiritual, but I am fleshly, having been sold under sin.
¹⁵ For I do not know what I am working. For I am doing this thing which I do not will but instead I am doing this thing which I am hating. ¹⁶ But if I am practicing this thing which I do not will, I assent together with the law; that it is good. ¹⁷ So now I no longer am working it, but the sin which is dwelling in me. ¹⁸ For I know what is a good thing is not dwelling in me, (that is, in my flesh); for it is laying beside me to will it, but I am not finding what is a good thing to work it. ¹⁹ For I am not practicing the good thing which I will, but instead I am doing this evil thing which I do not will. ²⁰ But if I am practicing this thing which I do not will, I am no longer working it, but the sin which is dwelling in me. ²¹ Consequently, I find the law to me who is willing to practice the good thing–evil is laying beside me.
²² For I delight-inwardly in the law of God according to the inward man. ²³ But I am seeing a different law in my members, warring against the law of my mind and capturing me in the law of sin which is in my members. ²⁴ O I am a miserable man! Who will rescue me out of the body of this death?

¹⁴ and how I was progressing in Judaism beyond many of my contemporaries in my own race, possessing even-more zealousness for the ancestral traditions. ¹⁵ But when God was delighted–he separated me from my mother’s womb, having called me through his grace, ¹⁶ to reveal his Son in me, in order that I may proclaim the good-news of him among the nations. Immediately, I did not consult with flesh and blood;

⁶ according to zeal, I was persecuting the congregation of believers; according to the righteousness in the law, I became blameless. ⁷ But what things were gains for me, I have deemed these a forfeiture because of the Christ. ⁸ But therefore, I am also deeming all things indeed to be a forfeiture because of the superiority of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, because of whom, I forfeited all things, and am deeming them to be but trash, in order that I may gain Christ,

¹³ even though I was a former blasphemer and a persecutor and an insolent man, but I was shown-mercy, because I did it being ignorant in unbelief; ¹⁴ and the grace of our Lord overwhelmed me with the faith and love which is in Christ Jesus. ¹⁵ Faithful is the word and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am foremost.

⁹ And it will become small dust over all the land of Egypt and will be a boil breaking forth with sores upon man and upon beast, throughout all the land of Egypt.

²⁶ And he said, If you will diligently listen to the voice of Jehovah your God and will do what is right in his eyes and will listen to his commandments and keep all his statutes, I will put none of the diseases upon you, which I have put upon the Egyptians, because I am Jehovah who heals you.

⁷ And Isaiah said, Take a cake of figs. And they took and laid it on the boil and he recovered.

⁷ So Satan went forth from the presence of Jehovah and killed* Job with severe boils from the sole of his foot to his crown.

³ There is no soundness in my flesh because of your indignation, nor is there any health in my bones because of my sin.
⁴ Because my iniquities have gone over my head. As a heavy burden they are too heavy for me. ⁵ My wounds are loathsome and corrupt, because of my foolishness.
⁶ I am pained and bowed down greatly. I go mourning all the day long. ⁷ Because my loins are filled with burning and there is no soundness in my flesh.

²¹ Now Isaiah had said, Let them take a cake of figs and lay it for a plaster upon the boil and he will recover.

⁴⁵ Then it travels and takes with itself seven other spirits more evil than itself and they enter and dwell there and the last state of that man becomes worse than the first. So it will also be to this evil generation.

¹⁴ After these things, Jesus finds him in the temple and said to him, Behold, you have become healthy. Sin no longer, in order that something worse might not happen to you.

²⁰ For if, having fled away from the defilements of the world in the full knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and having been again entangled, they are succumbed in these things, the last state has become worse to them than the first.

⁵ to give such a one to the Adversary for the utter-destruction of the flesh, in order that the spirit might be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.

²⁶ And Judah acknowledged them and said, She is more righteous than I, inasmuch as I did not give her to Shelah my son. And he knew her again no more.

¹³ And David said to Nathan, I have sinned against Jehovah. And Nathan said to David, Jehovah also has put away your sin; you will not die.

² And Jehu the son of Hanani the seer went out to meet him and said to king Jehoshaphat, Should you help the wicked and love those who hate Jehovah? For this thing wrath is upon you from before Jehovah. ³ Nevertheless there are good things found in you, in that you have put away the Asheroth out of the land and have set your heart to seek God.

³¹ For has any said to God, I have borne chastisement, I will not offend any more; ³² teach me what I do not see; if I have done unrighteousness, I will do it no more?

⁴ Behold, I am of small account. What shall I answer you? I lay my hand upon my mouth. ⁵ I have spoken once and I will not answer, yes, twice, but I will proceed no further.

¹³ He who covers his transgressions will not prosper, but he who confesses and forsakes them will obtain mercy.

⁷⁵ And Peter was reminded of the declaration which Jesus had said to him, Before the rooster crows, you will be denying me three-times. And having gone outside, he wept bitterly.

⁷ so-that you, rather instead, are to forgive him and to encourage him, lest such a one might be swallowed up with his sorrow even-more.

¹ Brethren, even if a man is overtaken in any trespass, you, the spiritual, mend such a one in a spirit of meekness; noting any trespass in yourself, lest you might also be tempted.

² that you should no longer have your life, (the rest of your time in the flesh), in the lusts of men, but in the will of God. ³ For enough time which has passed away from our life is for us to have worked the will of the Gentiles, and having conducted-ourselves in: unbridled-lusts, lusts, drunkenness, revelings, drinking-bouts and illegal idolatries;

²⁴ And it will happen, that instead of sweet spices there will be rottenness and instead of a belt, a rope and instead of well set hair, baldness and instead of a robe, a girding of sackcloth, branding instead of beauty.

⁴ And if the bright spot is white in the skin of his flesh and the appearance of it is not deeper than the skin and the hair of it has not turned white, then the priest will shut up the disease seven days.

¹⁸ And when the flesh has a boil in the skin of it and it is healed, ¹⁹ and in the place of the boil there is a white rising, or a bright spot, reddish-white, then it will be shown to the priest. ²⁰ And the priest will look, and behold, if the appearance of it is deeper than the skin and the hair of it has turned white, then the priest will pronounce him unclean. It is a leprous disease; it has broken out in the boil.

⁴ And if the bright spot is white in the skin of his flesh and the appearance of it is not deeper than the skin and the hair of it has not turned white, then the priest will shut up the disease seven days.
⁵ And the priest will look on him the seventh day, and behold, if in his eyes the disease is arrested and the disease is not spread in the skin, then the priest will shut him up seven days more.

²³ But if the bright spot stays in its place and has not spread, it is the scar of the boil and the priest will pronounce him clean.

²⁸ Upon it the king took counsel and made two calves of gold. And he said to them, It is too much for you* to go up to Jerusalem. Behold your gods, O Israel, which brought you up out of the land of Egypt.

²⁹ whatever prayer and supplication be made by any man, or by all your people Israel, who will know every man his own plague and his own sorrow and will spread forth his hands toward this house,

⁴ Have the workers of wickedness no knowledge, who eat up my people as they eat bread and do not call upon God?

⁵ Why will you* still be stricken, that you* revolt more and more? The whole head is sick and the whole heart faint.

²⁰ Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!

¹⁵ The elder and the honorable man, he is the head. And the prophet who teaches lies, he is the tail.

¹¹ The heads of it judge for a bribe and the priests of it teach for a wage and the prophets of it divine for money.
Yet they lean upon Jehovah and say, Is not Jehovah in the midst of us? No evil will come upon us.

²³ But if your eye is evil, your whole body will be dark. Therefore, if the light which is in you is darkness, how much greater is the darkness!

¹⁴ And the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled in them, which says, ‘In hearing you will hear and may never understand, and seeing you will see and may never know; ¹⁵ for the heart of this people has become-callous and they have selectively heard with the ears and they have closed their eyes; lest they should see with their eyes and should hear with their ears and should understand with their heart and should turn again and I will be healing them.’

² They will be expelling you from the synagogues. But the hour is coming, that everyone who kills you may think that he is offering divine service to God. ³ And they will be doing these things to you, because they have not known the Father, nor me.

³ I Indeed am a Jew, and having been born in Tarsus of Cilicia, but having been reared in this city beside the feet of Gamaliel, having been educated according to the exactness of the Law of our forefathers, being a zealous one of God, just-as you all are today; ⁴ and I persecuted this Way to the death, binding and giving into prisons both men and women.

⁹ Therefore I indeed thought in myself, that I ought to do many things adverse to the name of Jesus the Nazarene. ¹⁰ I also did this in Jerusalem, and I locked up many of the holy-ones in prisons, having received authority from the high-priests, and when they were assassinated, I brought my voting-pebble against them.

³ But even if our good-news is being hidden, it is being hidden among those who are perishing, ⁴ in whom the god of this age has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that the illumination of the good-news of the glory of the Christ, who is the image of God, should not dawn for them.

¹¹ And because of this, God will be sending them a working of error, that they may believe in the lie; ¹² in order that they all might be judged who did not believe the truth, but were delighted in unrighteousness.

³⁴ And in the seventh day the priest will look on the scale, and behold, if the scale has not spread in the skin and the appearance of it is not deeper than the skin, then the priest will pronounce him clean. And he will wash his clothes and be clean. ³⁵ But if the scale spreads abroad in the skin after his cleansing, ³⁶ then the priest will look on him. And behold, if the scale has spread in the skin, the priest will not seek for the yellow hair, he is unclean. ³⁷ But if in his eyes the scale is arrested and black hair is grown up in it, the scale is healed. He is clean and the priest will pronounce him clean.

⁵⁴ This is the law for all manner of a leprous disease and for a scale,

³⁰ then the priest will look on the disease. And behold, if the appearance of it is deeper than the skin and there is yellow thin hair in it, then the priest will pronounce him unclean; it is a scale. It is a leprous disease of the head or of the beard.

⁵ And they are practicing all their works to be seen by men. And they widen their phylacteries and magnify the hems of their garments,

⁹ Now he spoke this parable to some who have confidence in themselves, that they were righteous, and scorning the rest: ¹⁰ Two men went up into the temple to pray; the first one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. ¹¹ The Pharisee stood and was praying these things with himself, God, I give-thanks to you, that I am not like the rest of men: swindlers, unrighteous, adulterers or just-like this tax collector. ¹² I fast twice in the week; I tithe of all things, as many things as I procure.

²³ You who are boasting in the law, through your transgression of the law, are you dishonoring God?

¹ Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, to see if they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.

²² And show-mercy to some, making a distinction;

² I know your works and your labor and endurance and that you are not able to bear evil men and you tested those who are saying about themselves, They are apostles and are not and you have found them false;

⁷ But if the scab spreads abroad in the skin after he has shown himself to the priest for his cleansing, he will show himself to the priest again.

²² For I delight-inwardly in the law of God according to the inward man. ²³ But I am seeing a different law in my members, warring against the law of my mind and capturing me in the law of sin which is in my members. ²⁴ O I am a miserable man! Who will rescue me out of the body of this death? ²⁵ I am giving-thanks to God through Jesus Christ our Lord. Therefore consequently, I myself, indeed, serve the law of God with the mind, but I serve the law of sin with the flesh.

⁴¹ And if his hair has fallen off from the front part of his head, he is forehead bald; he is clean.

²³ And he went up from there to Bethel. And as he was going up by the way, there came out young lads out of the city and mocked him and said to him, Go up, you baldheaded; go up, you baldheaded.

¹¹ His head is the most fine gold. His locks are bushy, black as a raven.

² They have gone up to the house and to Dibon, to the high places, to weep. Moab wails over Nebo and over Medeba. On all their heads is baldness. Every beard is cut off.

¹⁰ And I will turn your* feasts into mourning and all your* songs into lamentation. And I will bring sackcloth upon all loins and baldness upon every head and I will make it as the mourning for an only son and the end of it as a bitter day.

¹² Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body, that you might obey it in its lusts;

¹⁹ I speak in human terms because of the weakness of your flesh; for just-as you presented your members as bondservants to uncleanness and to lawlessness leading to more lawlessness, so now present your members as bondservants to righteousness leading to holiness.

¹⁰ But if Christ is in you, the body is indeed dead because of sin, but the spirit is life because of righteousness.

¹³ but you know that I myself proclaimed the good-news to you beforehand because of a weakness of the flesh.

¹⁴ They die in youth and their life perishes among the unclean.

¹ But false prophets happened to be also among the people, as false teachers will also be among you, who will be smuggling in sects of destruction, denying even the Master who bought them, bringing quick destruction upon themselves. ² And many will be following their unbridled-lusts, because of whom the way of the truth will be blasphemed. \ulnone\nosupersub

⁸ Beware in yourselves, in order that you should not destroy the things which we have worked in you, but in order that we may receive a full reward. ⁹ Everyone who transgresses and is not abiding in the teaching of the Christ, does not have God. He who abides in the teaching of Christ, this one has both the Father and the Son. ¹⁰ If anyone is coming to you and is not bringing this teaching, do not receive him into your house and do not say hello to him;

²⁹ And Reuben returned to the pit, and behold, Joseph was not in the pit. And he tore his clothes,

⁶ And Moses said to Aaron and to Eleazar and to Ithamar, his sons, Do not let the hair of your* heads go loose, neither tear your* clothes, that you* not die and that he not be angry with all the congregation, but let your* brothers, the whole house of Israel, weep at the burning which Jehovah has kindled.

¹⁰ And he who is the high priest among his brothers, upon whose head the anointing oil is poured and who is consecrated to put on the garments, will not let the hair of his head go loose, nor tear his clothes,

¹⁹ And Tamar put ashes on her head and tore her garment of various colors that was on her.

²⁰ Then Job arose and tore his robe and shaved his head and fell down upon the ground and worshiped.

³ Because I know my transgressions and my sin is always before me.

⁵ Behold, I was brought out in iniquity and my mother conceived me in sin.

⁵ Then I said, Woe is me! For I am undone, because I am a man of unclean lips and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips. For my eyes have seen the King, Jehovah of hosts.

¹¹ Depart, depart, go out from there. Touch no unclean thing. Go out of the midst of her. Cleanse yourselves, you* who bear the vessels of Jehovah.

²⁵ Let us lie down in our shame and let our confusion cover us, for we have sinned against Jehovah our God, we and our fathers, from our youth even to this day and we have not obeyed the voice of Jehovah our God.

²⁴ And they were not afraid, nor tore their garments, neither the king, nor any of his servants who heard all these words.

¹⁵ Depart, they cried to them. Unclean! Depart, depart, do not touch! When they fled away and wandered, men said among the nations, They will no more journey here.

¹⁷ Sigh, but not aloud. Make no mourning for the dead. Bind your headdress upon you and put your shoes upon your feet. And do not cover your lips and do not eat the bread of men.

²² And you* will do as I have done. You* will not cover your* lips, nor eat the bread of men.

¹³ And tear your* heart and not your* garments and turn to Jehovah your* God, for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger and abundant in loving kindness and relents of the evil.

⁷ And the seers will be put to shame and diviners confounded. Yes, they will all cover their lips, for there is no answer from God.

⁸ But Simon Peter, when he saw it, fell down before Jesus’knees, saying, Go away from me, because I am a man, a sinner, O Lord.

⁶ Now Jesus was traveling together with them. Now already, when he was not far distant from the house, the centurion sent friends to him, saying to him, Lord, do not be bothered; for I am not sufficient that you should enter under my roof. ⁷ Hence, not even I myself deemed it worthy to come to you, but say it with a word, and my young-servant will be healed.

¹² And while entering into a certain village, ten men who were lepers encountered him there, who stood farther out;

¹ And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying, ² Command the sons of Israel, that they put out of the camp every leper and every man who has a discharge and whoever is unclean about life. ³ You* will put out both male and female. You* will put them outside the camp, that they not defile their camp, in the midst of which I dwell. ⁴ And the sons of Israel did so and put them outside the camp. As Jehovah spoke to Moses, so did the sons of Israel.

¹⁴ And Jehovah said to Moses, If her father had but spit in her face, should she not be ashamed seven days? Let her be shut up outside the camp seven days and after that she will be brought in again. ¹⁵ And Miriam was shut up outside the camp seven days. And the people journeyed not till Miriam was brought in again.

³ Now there were four leprous men at the entrance of the gate and they said one to another, Why do we sit here until we die?

⁵ And Jehovah killed* the king, so that he was a leper to the day of his death and dwelt in a separate house. And Jotham the king's son was over the household, judging the people of the land.

²¹ And Uzziah the king was a leper to the day of his death and dwelt in a separate house, being a leper. For he was cut off from the house of Jehovah and Jotham his son was over the king's house, judging the people of the land.

¹² There is a generation who are pure in their own eyes and yet are not washed from their filthiness.

¹ How the city sits solitary, that was full of people! She has become as a widow, who was great among the nations! She who was a princess among the provinces has become forced-labor!

⁸ Jerusalem has grievously sinned, therefore she has become as an unclean thing. All who honored her despise her, because they have seen her nakedness. Yes, she sighs and turns backward.

⁹ I have written to you in my letter not to socialize together with fornicators; ¹⁰ and certainly not meaning with the fornicators of this world or with the greedy or swindlers or idolaters; otherwise, you are consequently obligated to go forth out of the world. ¹¹ But now, I have written to you not to socialize together with anyone if he is named a brother, who is either a fornicator or greedy, or an idolater or a reviler, or a drunkard or a swindler, not to even eat together with such a person. \ulnone\nosupersub ¹² For what is it to me to judge those who are outside? Are you not judging those who are inside? ¹³ Now God will be judging those who are outside, and you will be taking away the evil man from among yourselves.

⁶ Now brethren, we are commanding you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to withdraw yourselves from every brother who is walking disorderly and not according to the tradition which they received from us.

¹⁴ And if anyone is not obeying our word through this letter, mark that man and do not socialize together with him, in order that he may be embarrassed.

⁵ incessant wranglings of men who have been corrupted in the mind and who have been deprived of the truth, supposing that godliness is a method to earnings. Withdraw yourself from such.

¹⁵ exercising the oversight of yourselves lest there is anyone who comes-short, away from the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing upward, might trouble you, and many may be defiled through this; ¹⁶ lest there is any fornicator or profane person, like Esau, who gave away his birthright in exchange-for one dinner.

²⁷ And any desecrated thing or anyone practicing an abomination and a lie may never enter into it; except those who have been written in the Lamb’s Book of Life may enter into it.

¹⁵ The dogs and the sorcerers and the fornicators and the murderers and the idolaters and everyone who loves and practices a lie are outside.

¹⁶ Moreover Jehovah said, Because the daughters of Zion are haughty and walk with outstretched necks and wanton eyes, walking and mincing as they go and making a tinkling with their feet, ¹⁷ therefore the Lord will kill* with a scab the crown of the head of the daughters of Zion and Jehovah will lay bare their secret parts.
¹⁸ In that day, the Lord will take away the beauty of their anklets and the hair nets and the crescents, ¹⁹ the pendants and the bracelets and the mufflers, ²⁰ the bonnets and the ankle chains and the sashes and the perfume-boxes and the amulets, ²¹ the rings and the nose-jewels, ²² the festival robes and the cloaks and the shawls and the satchels, ²³ the hand-mirrors and the fine linen and the turbans and the veils.
²⁴ And it will happen, that instead of sweet spices there will be rottenness and instead of a belt, a rope and instead of well set hair, baldness and instead of a robe, a girding of sackcloth, branding instead of beauty.

⁶ Their webs will not become garments, nor will they cover themselves with their works. Their works are works of wickedness and the act of violence is in their hands.

¹⁶ And you took of your garments and made high places for you, decked with various colors and played the prostitute upon them, things which should not come, nor should it be.

¹² The night has progressed, and the day has drawn near. Therefore, we should place away from ourselves the works of darkness, and should clothe ourselves with the weapons of light.

²² to place away from yourselves the old man, according to your former conduct, the one who is corrupted according to the lusts of deception;

³ For you died and the life you have, has been hidden together with the Christ in God.

²³ but save others in fear, seizing them out of the fire, hating even the tunic which has been stained from the flesh.

⁵¹ And he will look on the disease on the seventh day. If the disease has spread in the garment, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in the skin, whatever service skin is used for, the disease is a prickling leprosy, it is unclean.

¹¹ Beware lest you forget Jehovah your God, in not keeping his commandments and his ordinances and his statutes, which I command you this day.

⁴ But you have a few names in Sardis who did not defile their garments and they will be walking with me in white, because they are worthy.

⁴⁴ then the priest will come in and look. And behold, if the disease has spread in the house, it is a prickling leprosy in the house; it is unclean.

³³ And every earthen vessel, into which any of them falls, whatever is in it will be unclean and you* will break it.

³⁵ And everything upon which any part of their carcass falls will be unclean, whether oven, or range for pots, it will be broken in pieces; they are unclean and will be unclean to you*.

⁴⁴ then the priest will come in and look. And behold, if the disease has spread in the house, it is a prickling leprosy in the house; it is unclean. ⁴⁵ And he will break down the house, the stones of it and the timber of it and all the mortar of the house and he will carry them forth out of the city into an unclean place.

²⁵ You* will burn the graven images of their gods with fire. You will not desire the silver or the gold that is on them, nor take it to you, lest you are snared by it, for it is an abomination to Jehovah your God. ²⁶ And you will not bring an abomination into your house and become a devoted thing like it. You will make it an abomination and you will utterly abhor it, for it is a cursed thing.

²² And you* will defile the overlaying of your graven images of silver and the plating of your molten images of gold. You will cast them away as an unclean thing. You will say to it, You get away.

¹⁹ Now a considerable number of those who practiced magical arts brought their books together and were burning them in the sight of all, and they calculated the prices of them and found it to be fifty thousand pieces of silver. ²⁰ So the word of the Lord was growing and prevailing in dominion.

¹³ In your filthiness is lewdness. Because I have cleansed you and you were not cleansed, you will not be cleansed from your filthiness any more, till I have caused my wrath toward you to rest.

⁴ For it is impossible, those who were once enlightened and have tasted of the heavenly gift and had become partakers of the Holy Spirit ⁵ and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the future world ⁶ and then having fallen away, it is impossible to renew them again to repentance, because they are again crucifying for themselves the Son of God and disgracing him. ⁷ For the soil, which drank the rainfall, when it has come often upon her, and is bearing forth vegetation fit for those because of whom it is also cultivated, receives blessing from God. ⁸ But when it is bringing forth thorns and thistles, it is unapproved and near to a curse; whose end is for burning.

⁹ For the one is blind in whom these things are not present, being short-sighted, having taken on himself the forgetfulness of the cleansing from his old sins.

¹⁴ The sinners in Zion are afraid. Trembling has seized the profane. Who among us can dwell with the devouring fire? Who among us can dwell with everlasting burnings?

¹² whose winnowing fan is in his hand, and he will be thoroughly cleansing his threshing floor, and he will be gathering his grain into the barn, but the chaff he will be burning up with unquenchable fire.

⁷ And that king, having heard it, was angry, and he having sent his armies, destroyed those murderers and incinerated their city.

⁴¹ Then he will also say to them at the left, Travel away from me, you those who have been cursed into the everlasting fire which has been prepared for the devil and his messengers:

⁸ But to the cowardly and unbelieving and sinners and detestable and murderers and fornicators and sorcerers and idolaters and to all the false witnesses, their part will be in the lake which is burning with fire and brimstone; which is the second death.

¹⁰ And Elisha sent a messenger to him, saying, Go and wash in the Jordan seven times and your flesh will come again to you and you will be clean.

¹⁴ Then went he down and dipped himself seven times in the Jordan, according to the saying of the man of God. And his flesh came again like the flesh of a little child and he was clean.

² Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin.

⁸ I pleaded with the Lord three-times in regard to this thing, in order that it might withdraw from me.

⁵ and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To the one who loves us and washed us away from our sins in his blood;
