¹⁰ And Jehovah turned back the captivity of Job when he prayed for his friends. And Jehovah gave Job twice as much as he had before.

⁴ And Moses cried to Jehovah, saying, What shall I do to this people? They are almost ready to stone me.
⁵ And Jehovah said to Moses, Pass on before the people and take with you from the elders of Israel and your rod, with which you killed* the river, take in your hand and go.

² And they said, Has Jehovah indeed spoken only with Moses? Has he not spoken also with us? And Jehovah heard it.

¹³ And Moses cried to Jehovah, saying, Heal her, O God, I beseech you.

¹ And all the congregation lifted up their voice and cried and the people wept that night. ² And all the sons of Israel murmured against Moses and against Aaron. And the whole congregation said to them, Would that we had died in the land of Egypt, or would that we had died in this wilderness! ³ And why does Jehovah bring us to this land, to fall by the sword? Our wives and our little ones will be a prey. Were it not better for us to return into Egypt?
⁴ And they said one to another, Let us make a captain and let us return into Egypt.

¹⁰ But all the congregation commanded, stone them with stones. And the glory of Jehovah appeared in the tent of meeting to all the sons of Israel.

¹³ And Moses said to Jehovah, Then the Egyptians will hear it, for you brought up this people in your might from among them, ¹⁴ and they will tell it to the inhabitants of this land. They have heard that you Jehovah are in the midst of this people, for you Jehovah are seen face to face and your cloud stands over them and you go before them, in a pillar of cloud by day and in a pillar of fire by night. ¹⁵ Now if you will kill this people as one man, then the nations which have heard the fame of you will speak, saying, ¹⁶ Because Jehovah was not able to bring this people into the land which he swore to them, therefore he has slain them in the wilderness.
¹⁷ And now, I beseech you, let the power of the Lord be great, just-as you have spoken, saying, ¹⁸ Jehovah is slow to anger and abundant in loving kindness, forgiving iniquity and transgression and that will by no means clear the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the sons, upon the third and upon the fourth generation. ¹⁹ Pardon, I beseech you, the iniquity of this people according to the greatness of your loving kindness and just-as you have forgiven this people, from Egypt even until now.
²⁰ And Jehovah said, I have pardoned according to your word,

²¹ Separate yourselves from among this congregation, that I may consume them in a moment. ²² And they fell upon their faces and said, O God, the God of the spirits of all flesh, will one man sin and will you be angry with all the congregation?

⁴⁶ And Moses said to Aaron, Take your censer and put fire in it from the altar and lay incense on it and carry it quickly to the congregation and make atonement for them, for there is wrath gone out from Jehovah. The plague has begun.
⁴⁷ And Aaron took as Moses spoke and ran into the midst of the assembly. And behold, the plague had begun among the people. And he put on the incense and made atonement for the people. ⁴⁸ And he stood between the dead and the living and the plague was stopped.

¹⁸ But you will remember Jehovah your God, for it is he who gives you power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he swore to your fathers, as at this day.

²⁰ And Jehovah was very angry with Aaron to destroy him. And I prayed for Aaron also at the same time.

³ that then Jehovah your God will turn your captivity and have compassion upon you and will return and gather you from all the peoples where Jehovah your God has scattered you.

⁷ Jehovah makes poor and makes rich. He brings low, he also lifts up.

⁹ And Amaziah said to the man of God, But what will we do for the hundred talants which I have given to the army of Israel? And the man of God answered, Jehovah is able to give you much more than this.

³ His substance also was seven thousand sheep and three thousand camels and five hundred yoke of oxen and five hundred female-donkeys and a very great household, so that this man was the greatest of all the sons of the east.

¹⁸ For he injures and binds up. He wounds and his hands make whole.
¹⁹ He will deliver you in six troubles. Yes, in seven there will no evil touch you. ²⁰ In famine he will redeem you from death and in war from the power of the sword.

⁶ if you were pure and upright, surely now he would awake for you and make the habitation of your righteousness prosperous. ⁷ And though your beginning was small, yet your latter end would greatly increase.

²⁴ Then you will lay up gold as dust and the gold of Ophir as the stones of the brooks. ²⁵ Yes, the Almighty will be your treasure and precious silver to you.

⁷ O that the salvation of Israel came out of Zion! When Jehovah brings back the captivity of his people, then Jacob will rejoice and Israel will be glad.

¹ Jehovah, you have been favorable to your land. You have brought back the captivity of Jacob. ² You have forgiven the iniquity of your people. You have covered all their sin. Selah.
³ You have taken away all your wrath. You have turned from the fierceness of your anger.

¹ When Jehovah brought back those who returned to Zion, we were like those who dream.

⁴ Turn again our captivity, O Jehovah, as the streams in the South. ⁵ Those who sow in tears will reap in joy. ⁶ He who goes forth and weeps, bearing seed for sowing, will doubtless come again with joy, bringing his sheaves.

⁴ The reward of humility and the fear of Jehovah is riches and honor and life.

² Speak comfortably to Jerusalem and cry to her, that her warfare has been completed, that her iniquity is pardoned, that she has received of Jehovah's hand double for all her sins.

⁷ Instead of your* shame you * will have double and instead of dishonor they will rejoice in their portion. Therefore in their land they will possess double. Everlasting joy will be to them.

⁸ The silver is mine and the gold is mine, says Jehovah of hosts.

²⁷ But he said, Therefore father, I am requesting him in order that you should send him to my father’s house;

⁵⁰ Did my hand not make all these things?’

⁶⁰ Now having placed his knees down, he cried with a loud voice, Lord, do not weigh this, their sin, to them. And having said this, he fell-asleep.
