Isaiah 5:3 Cross References - MLV

³ And now, O inhabitants of Jerusalem and men of Judah, judge, I beseech you*, between me and my vineyard.

⁴ He calls to the heavens above and to the earth, that he may judge his people.
⁵ Gather my holy ones together to me, those who have made a covenant with me by sacrifice. ⁶ And the heavens will declare his righteousness, because God is judge himself. Selah.

⁴ Against you, you only, I have sinned and done what is evil in your sight, that you may be justified when you speak and may prevail when you are criticized.

⁴ Hear the word of Jehovah, O house of Jacob and all the families of the house of Israel. ⁵ Jehovah says thus: What unrighteousness have your* fathers found in me, that they have gone far from me and have walked after vanity and have become vain?

² Hear, O you* mountains, Jehovah's controversy and you* enduring foundations of the earth, for Jehovah has a controversy with his people and he will contend with Israel.
³ O my people, what have I done to you? And in what have I wearied you? Testify against me.

⁴⁰ Therefore, whenever the lord of the vineyard comes, what shall he do to those farmers?
⁴¹ They say to him, He will evilly destroy those evil men, and will be renting the vineyard to other farmers, who will be giving to him the fruits at their seasons.

⁹ Therefore, what will the lord of the vineyard be doing? He will come and will destroy the farmers and will be giving the vineyard to others. ¹⁰ Have you not even read this Scripture, ‘The stone which the builders rejected, this has become the head of the corner; ¹¹ this came from the Lord and it is marvelous in our eyes’? ¹² And they were seeking to take-hold of him, and yet they feared the crowd. They knew that he spoke the parable to them and they left him and went away.

¹⁵ And they cast him forth outside the vineyard, and killed him. Therefore, what will the lord of the vineyard do to them? ¹⁶ He will come and destroy these farmers, and will be giving the vineyard to others.
But having heard this, they said, Let it not happen!

⁵ But you store up wrath for yourself according to your hardness and unrepentant heart in the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God;

⁴ Let it not happen! Now, let God become true, but everyone a liar; just-as it has been written, ‘ That you should be made righteous in your words and may overcome when you are judged.’
