1 And I saw upon the right hand of the one who sits upon the throne a book having been written inside and on the back, having been sealed with seven seals. 2 And I saw a strong messenger preaching with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book and to loose its seals? 3 And no one in the heaven or upon the earth or underneath the earth, was able to open the book or to look in it. 4 And I was weeping much, because no one was found worthy to open and to read the book or to look in it. 5 And one out of the elders says to me, Do not weep; behold, the Lion who is from the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has overcome, so as to open the book and its seven seals. 6 And I saw in the middle of the throne and the four living creatures and in the middle of the elders, a Lamb standing, as one having been slaughtered, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God, being sent into all the earth. 7 And he came and has taken it out of the right hand of the one who sits upon the throne. 8 And when he took the book, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down in the Lamb’s sight, each one having a harp and golden bowls full of incenses, which are the prayers of the holy-ones. 9 And they are singing a new song, saying, You are worthy to take the book and to open its seals, because you were slaughtered and bought us in your blood for God out of every tribe and language and people and nation.
