²⁵ And I will sprinkle clean water upon you* and you* will be clean. I will cleanse you* from all your* filthiness and from all your* idols.

⁵ And the priest will command to kill one of the birds in an earthen vessel over running water. ⁶ As for the living bird, he will take it and the cedar wood and the scarlet and the hyssop and will dip them and the living bird in the blood of the bird that was killed over the running water. ⁷ And he will sprinkle seven times upon he who is to be cleansed from the leprous disease and will pronounce him clean and will let the living bird go into the open field.

⁷ And thus you will do to them to cleanse them: sprinkle the water of expiation upon them and let them cause a razor to pass over all their flesh and let them wash their clothes and cleanse themselves.

¹³ Whoever touches a dead person, the body of a man who has died and does not purify himself, defiles the tabernacle of Jehovah. And that soul will be cut off from Israel, because the water for impurity was not sprinkled upon him. He will be unclean; his uncleanness is yet upon him.
¹⁴ This is the law when a man dies in a tent: everyone who comes into the tent and everyone who is in the tent, will be unclean seven days. ¹⁵ And every open vessel, which has no covering bound upon it, is unclean. ¹⁶ And whoever in the open field touches a man who is slain with a sword, or a dead body, or a bone of a man, or a grave, will be unclean seven days. ¹⁷ And for the unclean they will take of the ashes of the burning of the sin offering and running water will be put with that in a vessel. ¹⁸ And a clean man will take hyssop and dip it in the water and sprinkle it upon the tent and upon all the vessels and upon the souls who were there and upon him who touched the bone, or the slain, or the dead, or the grave. ¹⁹ And the clean man will sprinkle upon the unclean on the third day and on the seventh day. And on the seventh day he will purify him. And he will wash his clothes and bathe himself in water and will be clean at evening.
²⁰ But the man who will be unclean and will not purify himself, that soul will be cut off from the midst of the assembly, because he has defiled the sanctuary of Jehovah. The water for impurity has not been sprinkled upon him; he is unclean.

² Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin.

⁷ Purify me with hyssop and I will be clean. Wash me and I will be whiter than snow.

¹² There is a generation who are pure in their own eyes and yet are not washed from their filthiness.

¹⁸ And the idols will utterly pass away. ¹⁹ And men will go into the caves of the rocks and into the holes of the earth, from before the terror of Jehovah and from the glory of his majesty, when he arises to shake the earth mightily.
²⁰ Men will cast away their idols of silver and their idols of gold in that day, which have been made for them to worship, to the moles and to the bats,

⁴ when the Lord will have washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion and will have purged the blood of Jerusalem from the midst of it, by the spirit of justice and by the spirit of burning.

⁷ In that day men will look to their maker and their eyes will have respect for the Holy One of Israel. ⁸ And they will not look to the altars, the work of their hands, nor will they have respect for what their fingers have made, either the Asherim or the sun-images.

¹⁵ so will he sprinkle many nations. Kings will shut their mouths at him. For what had not been told them they will see and what they had not heard they will understand.

²² Return, you* backsliding sons, I will heal your* backslidings. Behold, we have come to you, for you are Jehovah our God. ²³ Truly it is in vain from the heights, the multitude on the mountains. Truly in Jehovah our God is the salvation of Israel.

⁸ And I will cleanse them from all their iniquity by which they have sinned against me. And I will pardon all their iniquities by which they have sinned against me and by which they have transgressed against me.

¹⁷ Son of man, when the house of Israel dwelt in their own land, they defiled it by their way and by their practices. Their way before me was as the uncleanness of a woman in her impurity.

²⁹ And I will save you* from all your* uncleannesses. And I will call for the grain and will multiply it and lay no famine upon you*.

²³ Neither will they defile themselves any more with their idols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions, but I will save them out of all their dwelling-places in which they have sinned and will cleanse them. So they will be my people and I will be their God.

³ Assyria will not save us. We will not ride upon horses, nor will we say any more to the work of our hands, Our gods. For in you the fatherless finds mercy.

⁸ Ephraim will say, What have I to do any more with idols? I have answered and will regard him. I am like a green fir tree. From me, your fruit is found.

¹ In that day there will be a fountain opened to the house of David and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, for sin and for uncleanness. ² And it will happen in that day, says Jehovah of hosts, that I will cut off the names of the idols out of the land and they will no more be remembered. And I will also cause the prophets and the unclean spirit to pass out of the land.

⁵ Jesus answered, Assuredly, assuredly, I am saying to you, If someone has not been born out of water and the Spirit, he is not able to enter into the kingdom of God!

¹⁶ And now, why are you hesitating? When you stand up, be immersed and fully-wash away your sins, calling upon the name of the Lord.

¹¹ And some of you were these, but you were fully-washed, but you were made holy, but you were made righteous in the name of the Lord Jesus and in the Spirit of our God.

¹ Therefore beloved, having these promises, we should cleanse ourselves from all defilement of flesh and spirit, completing holiness in the fear of God.

²⁶ in order that he might make her holy, having cleansed her in the full-washing of the water in the word, ²⁷ in order that he might present her to himself, the glorious congregation, not having stain or wrinkle or any such things, but in order that she should be holy and unblemished.

¹⁴ who gave himself on our behalf, in order that he might redeem us away from all lawlessness and might cleanse a treasured people for himself, zealous of good works.

⁵ he saved us (not from any works done in righteousness, which we practiced), but according to his mercy, through the full-washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit, ⁶ which he poured out upon us richly, through Jesus Christ our Savior;

¹³ For if the blood of male-goats and oxen and the ashes of a heifer, sprinkling those who have been desecrated, makes one holy toward the cleanness of the flesh; ¹⁴ how much more the blood of Christ, (who through the everlasting Spirit offered himself unblemished to God), will be cleansing your conscience from dead works, that you may give-divine service to the living God.

¹⁹ For when every commandment had been spoken by Moses to all the people according to the law, and when he took the blood of the calves and the male-goats, with water and scarlet wool and hyssop, he sprinkled both the book itself and all the people,

²² let us come near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, our hearts having been sprinkled away from an evil conscience and our body, having been fully-washed in clean water.

⁷ But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son is cleansing us from every sin.

⁶ This is he who came through water and blood–Jesus Christ; not only in the water, but in the water and in the blood. And it is the Spirit who is testifying, because the Spirit is the truth.

⁵ and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To the one who loves us and washed us away from our sins in his blood;

¹⁴ And I said to him, My lord, you know.
And he said to me, These are those who are coming out of the great affliction and they have rinsed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
