² And when she has departed out of his house, she may go and be another man's.

⁷ They will not take a woman who is a prostitute, or profane, neither will they take a woman put away from her husband, for he is holy to his God.

¹⁴ A widow, or one divorced, or a profane woman, a prostitute, these he will not take, but he will take as a wife a virgin of his own people.

¹³ But if a priest's daughter be a widow, or divorced and have no child and is returned to her father's house, as in her youth, she will eat of her father's bread, but there will no stranger eat of it.

⁹ But the vow of a widow, or of her who is divorced, even everything with which she has bound her soul will stand against her.

²² Neither will they take for their wives a widow, nor her who is put away, but they will take virgins of the seed of the house of Israel, or a widow who is the widow of a priest.

³² But I say to you, that whoever divorces his wife, except-for the reason of fornication, is making her commit adultery and whoever marries her who has been divorced is committing adultery.

¹¹ And he says to them, Whoever divorces his wife and should marry another is committing adultery against her;

¹⁵ But if the unbelieving spouse separates, let the one separate; the brother or the sister has not been enslaved in such things. Now God has called us in peace.
