¹ At that time Jehovah said to me, Hew you two tablets of stone like the first and come up to me onto the mountain and make you an ark of wood. ² And I will write on the tablets the words that were on the first tablets which you broke and you will put them in the ark. ³ So I made an ark of acacia wood and hewed two tablets of stone like the first and went up onto the mountain, having the two tablets in my hand. ⁴ And he wrote on the tablets according to the first writing, the ten commandments, which Jehovah spoke to you* in the mountain out of the midst of the fire in the day of the assembly and Jehovah gave them to me. ⁵ And I turned and came down from the mountain and put the tablets in the ark which I had made. And they are there as Jehovah commanded me.
⁶ (And the sons of Israel journeyed from Beeroth Bene-jaakan to Moserah. There Aaron died and there he was buried and Eleazar his son ministered in the priest's office instead of him. ⁷ From there they journeyed to Gudgodah and from Gudgodah to Jotbathah, a land of brooks of water. ⁸ At that time Jehovah set apart the tribe of Levi, to bear the ark of the covenant of Jehovah, to stand before Jehovah to minister to him and to bless in his name, to this day. ⁹ Therefore Levi has no portion nor inheritance with his brothers. Jehovah is his inheritance, just-as Jehovah your God spoke to him.)
¹⁰ And I stayed on the mountain as at the first time, forty days and forty nights and Jehovah listened to me that time also: Jehovah would not destroy you. ¹¹ And Jehovah said to me, Arise, take your journey before the people and they will go in and possess the land, which I swore to their fathers to give to them.
¹² And now, Israel, what does Jehovah your God require of you, but to fear Jehovah your God, to walk in all his ways and to love him and to serve Jehovah your God with all your heart and with all your soul, ¹³ to keep the commandments of Jehovah and his statutes, which I command you this day for your good?
¹⁴ Behold, to Jehovah your God belongs heaven and the heaven of heavens, the earth, with all that is in it. ¹⁵ Only Jehovah had a delight in your fathers to love them and he chose their seed after them, even you* above all peoples as at this day. ¹⁶ Circumcise therefore the foreskin of your* heart and be no more stiff-necked.
¹⁷ For Jehovah your* God, he is God of gods and Lord of lords, the great God, the mighty and the awesome, who regards not persons, nor takes reward.
¹⁸ He executes justice for the fatherless and widow and loves the traveler in giving him food and garments. ¹⁹ Love therefore the traveler, for you* were travelers in the land of Egypt.
²⁰ You will fear Jehovah your God. Him you will serve and to him you will cling and by his name you will swear. ²¹ He is your praise and he is your God, who has done for you these great and awesome things, which your eyes have seen.
²² Your fathers went down into Egypt, in souls, seventy. And now Jehovah your God has made you as the stars of heaven for multitude.

¹⁰ And they will make an ark of acacia wood. Two cubits and a half will be the length of it and a cubit and a half the breadth of it and a cubit and a half the height of it. ¹¹ And you will overlay it with pure gold. Inside and outside you will overlay it and will make upon it a crown of gold all around. ¹² And you will cast four rings of gold for it and put them in the four feet of it. And two rings will be on the one side of it and two rings on the other side of it. ¹³ And you will make staves of acacia wood and overlay them with gold. ¹⁴ And you will put the staves into the rings on the sides of the ark, with which to bear the ark. ¹⁵ The staves will be in the rings of the ark; they will not be taken from it.

¹ And Jehovah said to Moses, Hew two tablets of stone like the first and I will write upon the tablets the words that were on the first tablets, which you broke. ² And be ready by the morning and come up in the morning to Mount Sinai and present yourself there to me on the top of the mountain.

⁴ And he hewed two tablets of stone like the first. And Moses rose up early in the morning and went up to Mount Sinai, as Jehovah had commanded him and took in his hand two tablets of stone.

³ So I made an ark of acacia wood and hewed two tablets of stone like the first and went up onto the mountain, having the two tablets in my hand. ⁴ And he wrote on the tablets according to the first writing, the ten commandments, which Jehovah spoke to you* in the mountain out of the midst of the fire in the day of the assembly and Jehovah gave them to me.

⁴ holding a golden altar of incense and the ark of the covenant, having been covered all around on every-side with gold, in which was the golden jar holding the manna and Aaron’s scepter which had sprouted and the tablets of the covenant;

¹⁶ And you will put into the ark the testimony which I will give you.
¹⁷ And you will make a mercy-seat of pure gold: two cubits and a half the length of it and a cubit and a half the breadth of it. ¹⁸ And you will make two cherubim of gold; of beaten work will you make them, at the two ends of the mercy-seat. ¹⁹ And make one cherub at the one end and one cherub at the other end; of one piece with the mercy-seat you* will make the cherubim on the two ends of it. ²⁰ And the cherubim will spread out their wings on high, covering the mercy-seat with their wings, with their faces one to another; the faces of the cherubim will be toward the mercy-seat.
²¹ And you will put the mercy-seat above upon the ark. And in the ark you will put the testimony that I will give you. ²² And there I will meet with you. And I will speak with you from above the mercy-seat, from between the two cherubim which are upon the ark of the testimony, of all things which I will give you in commandment to the sons of Israel.

²⁰ And he took and put the testimony into the ark and set the staves on the ark and put the mercy-seat above upon the ark.

¹³ And he declared to you* his covenant, which he commanded you* to perform, even the ten commandments. And he wrote them upon two tablets of stone.

⁵ And I turned and came down from the mountain and put the tablets in the ark which I had made. And they are there as Jehovah commanded me.

⁹ There was nothing in the ark except the two tablets of stone which Moses put there at Horeb when Jehovah made a covenant with the sons of Israel, when they came out of the land of Egypt.

⁵ and rams' skins dyed red and certain skins and acacia wood,

¹⁰ And they will make an ark of acacia wood. Two cubits and a half will be the length of it and a cubit and a half the breadth of it and a cubit and a half the height of it.

¹ And Bezalel made the ark of acacia wood; two cubits and a half was the length of it and a cubit and a half the breadth of it and a cubit and a half the height of it. ² And he overlaid it with pure gold inside and outside and made a crown of gold to it all around. ³ And he cast four rings of gold for it, in the four feet of it, even two rings on the one side of it and two rings on the other side of it. ⁴ And he made staves of acacia wood and overlaid them with gold. ⁵ And he put the staves into the rings on the sides of the ark, to bear the ark.

¹ At that time Jehovah said to me, Hew you two tablets of stone like the first and come up to me onto the mountain and make you an ark of wood.

¹⁷ And Moses brought out the people out of the camp to meet God and they stood at the lower part of the mountain. ¹⁸ And Mount Sinai, the whole of it, smoked, because Jehovah descended upon it in fire and the smoke of it ascended as the smoke of a furnace. And the whole mountain quaked greatly.

¹ And God spoke all these words, saying,
² I am Jehovah your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. ³ You will have no other gods before me.
⁴ You will not make to you a graven image, nor any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is on the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. ⁵ You will not bow down yourself to them, nor serve them, because I, Jehovah your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the sons, upon the third and upon the fourth generation of those who hate me, ⁶ and showing loving kindness to thousands of those who love me and keep my commandments.
⁷ You will not take the name of Jehovah your God in vain, because Jehovah will not hold him guiltless who takes his name in vain.
⁸ Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. ⁹ Six days you will labor and do all your work, ¹⁰ but the seventh day is a Sabbath to Jehovah your God. You will not do any work, you, nor your son, nor your daughter, your man-servant, nor your maid-servant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger that is within your gates, ¹¹ for in six days Jehovah made heaven and earth, the sea and all that is in them and rested the seventh day. Therefore Jehovah blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy. ¹² Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land which Jehovah your God gives you.
¹³ You will not murder.
¹⁴ You will not commit adultery.
¹⁵ You will not steal.
¹⁶ You will not bear false witness against your neighbor.
¹⁷ You will not desire your neighbor's house. You will not desire your neighbor's wife, nor his man-servant, nor his maid-servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor's.

²⁸ And he was there with Jehovah forty days and forty nights. He neither ate bread, nor drank water and he wrote upon the tablets the words of the covenant, the ten commandments.

¹¹ And you* came near and stood under the mountain and the mountain burned with fire to the heart of heaven, with darkness, cloud and thick darkness.
¹² And Jehovah spoke to you* out of the midst of the fire. You* heard the voice of words, but you* saw no form, only a voice. ¹³ And he declared to you* his covenant, which he commanded you* to perform, even the ten commandments. And he wrote them upon two tablets of stone. ¹⁴ And Jehovah commanded me at that time to teach you* statutes and ordinances, that you* might do them in the land where you* go over to possess it.
¹⁵ You* take therefore good heed to yourselves, for you* saw no manner of form on the day that Jehovah spoke to you* in Horeb out of the midst of the fire.

⁴ Jehovah spoke with you* face to face in the mountain out of the midst of the fire ⁵ (I stood between Jehovah and you* at that time, to show you* the word of Jehovah, for you* were afraid because of the fire and did not go up onto the mountain), saying,
⁶ I am Jehovah your God who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. ⁷ You will have no other gods before me.

¹⁶ Honor your father and your mother, as Jehovah your God commanded you, that your days may be long and that it may go well with you in the land which Jehovah your God gives you.
¹⁷ You will not murder.

²³ And it happened, when you* heard the voice out of the midst of the darkness, while the mountain was burning with fire, that you* came near to me, even all the heads of your* tribes and your* elders. ²⁴ And you* said, Behold, Jehovah our God has shown us his glory and his greatness and we have heard his voice out of the midst of the fire. We have seen this day that God speaks with man and he lives.
²⁵ Now therefore why should we die? For this great fire will consume us. If we hear the voice of Jehovah our God any more, then we will die. ²⁶ For who is there of all flesh, who has heard the voice of the living God speaking out of the midst of the fire, as we have and lived?

¹⁰ And Jehovah delivered to me the two tablets of stone written with the finger of God. And on them was according to all the words, which Jehovah spoke with you* in the mountain out of the midst of the fire in the day of the assembly.

¹⁶ according to all that you desired of Jehovah your God in Horeb in the day of the assembly, saying, Do not let me hear again the voice of Jehovah my God, neither let me see this great fire any more, that I not die.

¹⁸ For you have not come to a mountain which has been touched and burned with fire and to blackness and to darkness and to whirlwind, ¹⁹ and to the noise of a trumpet and to the voice of declarations; which voice those who heard renounced, asking the word not to be added to them.

¹⁶ And you will put into the ark the testimony which I will give you.

¹⁵ And Moses turned and went down from the mountain, with the two tablets of the testimony in his hand, tablets that were written on both their sides; on the one side and on the other were they written.

²⁹ And it happened, when Moses came down from Mount Sinai with the two tablets of the testimony in Moses' hand, when he came down from the mountain, that Moses did not know that the skin of his face shone by reason of his speaking with him.

¹⁵ So I turned and came down from the mountain and the mountain was burning with fire. And the two tablets of the covenant were in my two hands.

² And I will write on the tablets the words that were on the first tablets which you broke and you will put them in the ark.

⁹ And Joshua set up twelve stones in the midst of the Jordan, in the place where the feet of the priests who bore the ark of the covenant stood and they are there to this day.

⁸ And the staves were so long that the ends of the staves were seen from the holy place before the oracle. But they were not seen outside. And there they are to this day.
⁹ There was nothing in the ark except the two tablets of stone which Moses put there at Horeb when Jehovah made a covenant with the sons of Israel, when they came out of the land of Egypt.

⁶ And when you* blow an alarm the second time, the camps that lie on the south side will take their journey. They will blow an alarm for their journeys.

¹² And the sons of Israel set forward according to their journeys out of the wilderness of Sinai and the cloud abode in the wilderness of Paran. ¹³ And they first took their journey according to the commandment of Jehovah by Moses.

²³ And Jehovah spoke to Moses and Aaron in Mount Hor, by the border of the land of Edom, saying, ²⁴ Aaron will be gathered to his people, for he will not enter into the land which I have given to the sons of Israel, because you* rebelled against my word at the waters of Meribah. ²⁵ Take Aaron and Eleazar his son and bring them up to Mount Hor, ²⁶ and strip Aaron of his garments and put them upon Eleazar his son. And Aaron will be gathered and will die there.
²⁷ And Moses did as Jehovah commanded. And they went up into Mount Hor in the sight of all the congregation. ²⁸ And Moses stripped Aaron of his garments and put them upon Eleazar his son. And Aaron died there on the top of the mountain and Moses and Eleazar came down from the mountain.

¹ These are the journeys of the sons of Israel when they went forth out of the land of Egypt by their armies under the hand of Moses and Aaron. ² And Moses wrote their goings out according to their journeys by the commandment of Jehovah. And these are their journeys according to their goings out.

³⁰ And they journeyed from Hashmonah and encamped in Moseroth.
³¹ And they journeyed from Moseroth and encamped in Bene-jaakan.
³² And they journeyed from Bene-jaakan and encamped in Hor-haggidgad.
³³ And they journeyed from Hor-haggidgad and encamped in Jotbathah.

³⁸ (And Aaron the priest went up onto Mount Hor at the commandment of Jehovah and died there, in the fortieth year after the sons of Israel came out of the land of Egypt, in the fifth month, on the first day of the month.

³² And they journeyed from Bene-jaakan and encamped in Hor-haggidgad.
³³ And they journeyed from Hor-haggidgad and encamped in Jotbathah.
³⁴ And they journeyed from Jotbathah and encamped in Abronah.

¹ And this is the thing that you will do to them to sanctify them, to minister to me in the priest's office: Take one young bullock and two rams without blemish, ² and unleavened bread and cakes unleavened mingled with oil and wafers unleavened anointed with oil, of fine wheaten flour will you make them, ³ and you will put them into one basket and bring them in the basket, with the bullock and the two rams.
⁴ And Aaron and his sons you will bring to the door of the tent of meeting and will wash them with water. ⁵ And you will take the garments and put upon Aaron the tunic and the robe of the ephod and the ephod and the breastplate and gird him with the skillfully woven band of the ephod. ⁶ And you will set the miter upon his head and put the holy crown upon the miter. ⁷ Then you will take the anointing oil and pour it upon his head and anoint him. ⁸ And you will bring his sons and put tunics upon them. ⁹ And you will gird them with sashes, Aaron and his sons and bind head-coverings on them. And they will have the priesthood by a everlasting statute. And you will consecrate Aaron and his sons.
¹⁰ And you will bring the bullock before the tent of meeting. And Aaron and his sons will lay their hands upon the head of the bullock, ¹¹ and you will kill the bullock before Jehovah, at the door of the tent of meeting. ¹² And you will take of the blood of the bullock and put it upon the horns of the altar with your finger and you will pour out all the blood at the base of the altar. ¹³ And you will take all the fat that covers the inwards and the lobe of the liver and the two kidneys and the fat that is upon them and burn them upon the altar. ¹⁴ But the flesh of the bullock and its skin and it manure, you will burn with fire outside the camp. It is a sin offering.
¹⁵ You will also take the one ram and Aaron and his sons will lay their hands upon the head of the ram. ¹⁶ And you will kill* the ram and you will take its blood and sprinkle it all around upon the altar. ¹⁷ And you will cut the ram into its pieces and wash its inwards and its legs and put them with its pieces and with its head, ¹⁸ and you will burn the whole ram upon the altar. It is a burnt offering to Jehovah. It is a sweet aroma, an offering made by fire to Jehovah.
¹⁹ And you will take the other ram and Aaron and his sons will lay their hands upon the head of the ram. ²⁰ Then you will kill the ram and take of its blood and put it upon the tip of the right ear of Aaron and upon the tip of the right ear of his sons and upon the thumb of their right hand and upon the great toe of their right foot and sprinkle the blood upon the altar all around. ²¹ And you will take of the blood that is upon the altar and of the anointing oil and sprinkle it upon Aaron and upon his garments and upon his sons and upon the garments of his sons with him. And he will be made holy and his garments and his sons and his sons' garments with him.
²² Also you will take from the ram the fat and the fat tail and the fat that covers the inwards and the lobe of the liver and the two kidneys and the fat that is upon them and the right thigh (for it is a ram of consecration), ²³ and one loaf of bread and one cake of oiled bread and one wafer, out of the basket of unleavened bread that is before Jehovah, ²⁴ and you will put the whole upon the hands of Aaron and upon the hands of his sons and will wave them for a wave offering before Jehovah. ²⁵ And you will take them from their hands and burn them on the altar upon the burnt offering, for a sweet aroma before Jehovah. It is an offering made by fire to Jehovah.
²⁶ And you will take the breast of Aaron's ram of consecration and wave it for a wave offering before Jehovah and it will be your portion. ²⁷ And you will sanctify the breast of the wave offering and the thigh of the offering, which is waved and which is heaved up, of the ram of consecration, even of what is for Aaron and of what is for his sons, ²⁸ and it will be for Aaron and his sons as their everlasting portion from the sons of Israel, becauseit is a heave offering. And it will be a heave offering from the sons of Israel of the sacrifices of their peace offerings, even their heave offering to Jehovah.
²⁹ And the holy garments of Aaron will be for his sons after him, to be anointed in them and to be consecrated in them. ³⁰ Seven days will the son that is priest instead of him put them on, when he comes into the tent of meeting to minister in the holy place.
³¹ And you will take the ram of consecration and boil its flesh in a holy place. ³² And Aaron and his sons will eat the flesh of the ram and the bread that is in the basket, at the door of the tent of meeting. ³³ And they will eat those things with which atonement was made, to consecrate and to sanctify them, but a stranger will not eat of it, because they are holy. ³⁴ And if any of the flesh of the consecration, or of the bread, remains to the morning, then you will burn the remainder with fire. It will not be eaten, because it is holy.
³⁵ And thus you will do to Aaron and to his sons, according to all that I have commanded you. Seven days you will consecrate them. ³⁶ And every day you will offer the bullock of sin offering for atonement. And you will cleanse the altar when you make atonement for it and you will anoint it, to sanctify it. ³⁷ Seven days you will make atonement for the altar and sanctify it. And the altar will be most holy. Whatever touches the altar will be holy.

⁹ And he set the miter upon his head. And upon the miter, in front, he set the golden plate, the holy crown, as Jehovah commanded Moses.

²² And Aaron lifted up his hands toward the people and blessed them. And he came down from offering the sin offering and the burnt offering and the peace offerings.

⁴⁷ But the Levites according to the tribe of their fathers were not numbered among them. ⁴⁸ For Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying, ⁴⁹ Only the tribe of Levi you will not number, neither will you take the sum of them among the sons of Israel, ⁵⁰ but appoint you the Levites over the tabernacle of the testimony and over all the furniture of it and over all that belongs to it. They will bear the tabernacle and all the furniture of it and they will minister to it and will encamp all around the tabernacle. ⁵¹ And when the tabernacle sets forward, the Levites will take it down and when the tabernacle is to be pitched, the Levites will set it up. And the stranger who comes near will be put to death.
⁵² And the sons of Israel will pitch their tents, every man by his own camp and every man by his own standard, according to their armies. ⁵³ But the Levites will encamp all around the tabernacle of the testimony, that there is no wrath upon the congregation of the sons of Israel. And the Levites will keep the charge of the tabernacle of the testimony.

¹ Now these are the genealogies of Aaron and Moses in the day that Jehovah spoke with Moses in Mount Sinai: ² And these are the names of the sons of Aaron: Nadab the firstborn and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar. ³ These are the names of the sons of Aaron, the priests who were anointed, whom he consecrated to minister in the priest's office. ⁴ And Nadab and Abihu died before Jehovah when they offered strange fire before Jehovah in the wilderness of Sinai and they had no sons. And Eleazar and Ithamar ministered in the priest's office in the presence of Aaron their father.

⁶ Bring the tribe of Levi near and set them before Aaron the priest, that they may minister to him.

³¹ And their charge will be the ark and the table and the lamp-stand and the altars and the vessels of the sanctuary with which they minister and the screen and all the service of it.

¹⁵ And when Aaron and his sons have made an end of covering the sanctuary and all the furniture of the sanctuary, as the camp is set forward, after that, the sons of Kohath will come to bear it, but they will not touch the sanctuary, lest they die. These things are the burden of the sons of Kohath in the tent of meeting.

²³ Speak to Aaron and to his sons, saying, This way you* will bless the sons of Israel: You* will say to them, ²⁴ Jehovah bless you and keep you. ²⁵ Jehovah make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you. ²⁶ Jehovah lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace.

¹ And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying, ² Speak to Aaron and say to him, When you light the lamps, the seven lamps will give light in front of the lamp-stand. ³ And Aaron did so. He lit the lamps of it in front of the lamp-stand, as Jehovah commanded Moses. ⁴ And this was the work of the lamp-stand, beaten work of gold. To the base of it, and to the flowers of it, it was beaten work. According to the pattern which Jehovah had shown Moses, so he made the lamp-stand.
⁵ And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying, ⁶ Take the Levites from among the sons of Israel and cleanse them. ⁷ And thus you will do to them to cleanse them: sprinkle the water of expiation upon them and let them cause a razor to pass over all their flesh and let them wash their clothes and cleanse themselves. ⁸ Then let them take a young bullock and its meal offering–fine flour mingled with oil. And you will take another young bullock for a sin offering. ⁹ And you will present the Levites before the tent of meeting. And you will assemble the whole congregation of the sons of Israel, ¹⁰ and you will present the Levites before Jehovah. And the sons of Israel will lay their hands upon the Levites.
¹¹ And Aaron will offer the Levites before Jehovah for a wave offering from the sons of Israel, that it may be theirs to do the service of Jehovah. ¹² And the Levites will lay their hands upon the heads of the bullocks and offer you the one for a sin offering and the other for a burnt offering, to Jehovah, to make atonement for the Levites. ¹³ And you will set the Levites before Aaron and before his sons and offer them for a wave offering to Jehovah. ¹⁴ Thus will you separate the Levites from among the sons of Israel and the Levites will be mine. ¹⁵ And after that the Levites will go in to do the service of the tent of meeting. And you will cleanse them and offer them for a wave offering.
¹⁶ For they are entirely given to me from among the sons of Israel; instead of all who open the womb, even the firstborn of all the sons of Israel, I have taken them to me. ¹⁷ For all the firstborn among the sons of Israel are mine, both man and beast. On the day that I killed* all the firstborn in the land of Egypt I made them holy for myself. ¹⁸ And I have taken the Levites instead of all the firstborn among the sons of Israel. ¹⁹ And I have given the Levites as a gift to Aaron and to his sons from among the sons of Israel, to do the service of the sons of Israel in the tent of meeting and to make atonement for the sons of Israel, that there is no plague among the sons of Israel, when the sons of Israel come near to the sanctuary.
²⁰ Thus did Moses and Aaron and all the congregation of the sons of Israel, to the Levites. According to all that Jehovah commanded Moses concerning the Levites, so the sons of Israel did to them. ²¹ And the Levites purified themselves from sin and they washed their clothes. And Aaron offered them for a wave offering before Jehovah and Aaron made atonement for them to cleanse them. ²² And after that the Levites went in to do their service in the tent of meeting before Aaron and before his sons. As Jehovah had commanded Moses concerning the Levites, so they did to them.
²³ And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying, ²⁴ This is what belongs to the Levites: From twenty-five years old and upward they will go in to wait upon the service in the work of the tent of meeting. ²⁵ And from the age of fifty years they will cease waiting upon the work and will serve no more, ²⁶ but will minister with their brothers in the tent of meeting, to keep the charge and will do no service. Thus will you do to the Levites concerning their charges.

⁹ Is it a small thing to you*, that the God of Israel has separated you* from the congregation of Israel, to bring you* near to himself, to do the service of the tabernacle of Jehovah and to stand before the congregation to minister to them, ¹⁰ and that he has brought you near and all your brothers the sons of Levi with you? And you* seek the priesthood also?

¹ And Jehovah said to Aaron, You and your sons and your fathers' house with you will bear the iniquity of the sanctuary and you and your sons with you will bear the iniquity of your* priesthood.
² And your brothers also, the tribe of Levi, the tribe of your father, bring near with you, that they may be joined to you and minister to you, but you and your sons with you will be before the tent of the testimony. ³ And they will keep your charge and the charge of all the tent. Only they will not come near to the vessels of the sanctuary and to the altar, that they not die, neither they, nor you*. ⁴ And they will be joined to you and keep the charge of the tent of meeting, for all the service of the tent and a stranger will not come near to you*. ⁵ And you* will keep the charge of the sanctuary and the charge of the altar, that there is no more wrath upon the sons of Israel.
⁶ And I, behold, I have taken your* brothers the Levites from among the sons of Israel. They are a gift to you*, given to Jehovah, to do the service of the tent of meeting. ⁷ And you and your sons with you will keep your* priesthood for everything of the altar and for that within the veil and you* will serve. I give you* the priesthood as a service of gift. And the stranger who comes near will be put to death.
⁸ And Jehovah spoke to Aaron, And I, behold, I have given you the charge of my heave offerings, even all the holy things of the sons of Israel. I have given them to you by reason of the anointing and to your sons, as a everlasting portion. ⁹ This will be your of the most holy things, reserved from the fire: every oblation of theirs, even every meal offering of theirs and every sin offering of theirs and every trespass offering of theirs, which they will render to me, will be most holy for you and for your sons. ¹⁰ As the most holy things you will eat of it; every male will eat of it. It will be holy to you.
¹¹ And this is your: the heave offering of their gift, even all the wave offerings of the sons of Israel. I have given them to you and to your sons and to your daughters with you, as an everlasting portion. Everyone who is clean in your house will eat of it. ¹² All the best of the oil and all the best of the vintage and of the grain, the first-fruits of them which they give to Jehovah, I have given them to you. ¹³ The first-ripe fruits of all that is in their land, which they bring to Jehovah, will be your. Everyone who is clean in your house will eat of it. ¹⁴ Everything devoted in Israel will be your.
¹⁵ Everything that opens the womb, of all flesh which they offer to Jehovah, both of man and beast will be your. Nevertheless the firstborn of man you will surely redeem and the first-offspring of unclean beasts you will redeem. ¹⁶ And those that are to be redeemed of them from a month old will you redeem, according to your estimation, for the money of five shekels, according to the shekel of the sanctuary (what is twenty gerahs). ¹⁷ But the first-offspring of an ox, or the first-offspring of a sheep, or the first-offspring of a goat, you will not redeem. They are holy. You will sprinkle their blood upon the altar and will burn their fat for an offering made by fire, for a sweet aroma to Jehovah. ¹⁸ And the flesh of them will be your. As the wave-breast and as the right thigh, it will be your.
¹⁹ All the heave offerings of the holy things, which the sons of Israel offer to Jehovah, I have given you and your sons and your daughters with you, as an everlasting portion. It is a covenant of salt forever before Jehovah to you and to your seed with you.
²⁰ And Jehovah said to Aaron, You will have no inheritance in their land, neither will you have any portion among them. I am your portion and your inheritance among the sons of Israel. ²¹ And to the sons of Levi, behold, I have given all the tithe in Israel for an inheritance, in return for their service which they serve, even the service of the tent of meeting.
²² And hereafter the sons of Israel will not come near the tent of meeting, lest they bear sin and die. ²³ But the Levites will do the service of the tent of meeting and they will bear their iniquity. It will be an everlasting statute throughout your* genealogy. And among the sons of Israel they will have no inheritance.
²⁴ For the tithe of the sons of Israel, which they offer as a heave offering to Jehovah, I have given to the Levites for an inheritance. Therefore I have said to them, Among the sons of Israel they will have no inheritance.
²⁵ And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying, ²⁶ Moreover you will speak to the Levites and say to them, When you* take from the sons of Israel the tithe which I have given you* from them for your* inheritance, then you* will offer up a heave offering of it for Jehovah, a tithe of the tithe. ²⁷ And your* heave offering will be reckoned to you*, as though it were the grain of the threshing-floor and as the fullness of the winepress. ²⁸ Thus you* also will offer a heave offering to Jehovah of all your* tithes, which you* receive of the sons of Israel. And from it you* will give Jehovah's heave offering to Aaron the priest. ²⁹ Out of all your* gifts you* will offer every heave offering of Jehovah, of all the best of it, even the holy part of it out of it.
³⁰ Therefore you will say to them, When you* heave the best of it from it, then it will be reckoned to the Levites as the increase of the threshing-floor and as the increase of the wine-press. ³¹ And you* will eat it in every place, you* and your* households, for it is your* reward in return for your* service in the tent of meeting. ³² And you* will bear no sin by reason of it, when you* have heaved from it the best of it. And you* will not profane the holy things of the sons of Israel, that you* not die.

¹² And the man who does presumptuously, in not listening to the priest who stands to minister there before Jehovah your God, or to the judge, even that man will die and you will put away the evil from Israel.

⁵ For Jehovah your God has chosen him out of all your tribes to stand to minister in the name of Jehovah, him and his sons forever.

⁵ And the priests the sons of Levi will come near, for Jehovah your God has chosen them to minister to him and to bless in the name of Jehovah and according to their word will every controversy and every stroke be.

³ And all the elders of Israel came and the priests took up the ark. ⁴ And they brought up the ark of Jehovah and the tent of meeting and all the holy vessels that were in the tent; even these the priests and the Levites brought up.

⁶ And the priests brought in the ark of the covenant of Jehovah to its place, into the oracle of the house, to the most holy place, even under the wings of the cherubim.

¹² And said to them, You* are the heads of the fathers of the Levites. Sanctify yourselves, both you* and your* brothers, that you* may bring up the ark of Jehovah, the God of Israel, to the place that I have prepared for it. ¹³ For because you* did not at the first, Jehovah our God made a breach upon us, because we did not seek him according to the ordinance.
¹⁴ So the priests and the Levites made themselves holy to bring up the ark of Jehovah, the God of Israel. ¹⁵ And the sons of the Levites bore the ark of God upon their shoulders with the staves on it, as Moses commanded according to the word of Jehovah.

²⁶ And it happened, when God helped the Levites who bore the ark of the covenant of Jehovah, that they sacrificed seven bullocks and seven rams.

²⁶ And also the Levites will no more have need to carry the tabernacle and all the vessels of it for the service of it.

⁴ And all the elders of Israel came. And the Levites took up the ark. ⁵ And they brought up the ark and the tent of meeting and all the holy vessels that were in the tent. These the priests the Levites brought up.

¹¹ My sons, do not be negligent now. For Jehovah has chosen you* to stand before him, to minister to him and that you* should be his ministers and burn incense.

²⁷ Then the priests the Levites arose and blessed the people. And their voice was heard and their prayer came up to his holy habitation, even to heaven.

² Lift up your* hands to the sanctuary and praise Jehovah.

² you* who stand in the house of Jehovah, in the courts of the house of our God.

¹⁹ Therefore Jehovah says thus: If you return, then I will bring you again that you may stand before me. And if you take forth the precious from the vile, you will be as my mouth. They will return to you, but you will not return to them.

¹¹ Yet they will be ministers in my sanctuary, having oversight at the gates of the house and ministering in the house. They will kill the burnt offering and the sacrifice for the people and they will stand before them to minister to them.

¹⁵ But the priests the Levites, the sons of Zadok, who kept the charge of my sanctuary when the sons of Israel went-astray from me, they will come near to me to minister to me. And they will stand before me to offer to me the fat and the blood, says the lord Jehovah:

¹⁶ You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you, in order that you should go and should bring forth fruit and in order that your fruit should abide, that if you ask anything of the Father in my name, he should give it to you.

² Now while ministering to the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, Separate^*\'b0 Barnabas and Saul for me, for the work to which I have called them.

Paul, bondservant of Jesus Christ, a called apostle, having been separated to the good-news of God,

⁷ if service, in the service; if he who is teaching, in the teaching;

¹⁷ Hence ‘Come out from the midst of them and be separate,’says the Lord, ‘And touch no unclean thing, and I will accept you\super\'b0

¹⁵ But when God was delighted–he separated me from my mother’s womb, having called me through his grace,

²⁰ And Jehovah said to Aaron, You will have no inheritance in their land, neither will you have any portion among them. I am your portion and your inheritance among the sons of Israel. ²¹ And to the sons of Levi, behold, I have given all the tithe in Israel for an inheritance, in return for their service which they serve, even the service of the tent of meeting.
²² And hereafter the sons of Israel will not come near the tent of meeting, lest they bear sin and die. ²³ But the Levites will do the service of the tent of meeting and they will bear their iniquity. ⁶² And those who were numbered of them were twenty-three thousand, every male from a month old and upward, for they were not numbered among the sons of Israel, because there was no inheritance given them among the sons of Israel.

¹ The priests the Levites, even all the tribe of Levi, will have no portion nor inheritance with Israel. They will eat the offerings of Jehovah made by fire and his inheritance. ² And they will have no inheritance among their brothers. Jehovah is their inheritance as he has spoken to them.

³ For Moses had given the inheritance of the two tribes and the half-tribe beyond the Jordan, but to the Levites he gave no inheritance among them.

²⁸ And they will have an inheritance: I am their inheritance. And you* will give them no possession in Israel. I am their possession.

¹⁸ And Moses entered into the midst of the cloud and went up onto the mountain. And Moses was on the mountain forty days and forty nights.

¹⁴ And Jehovah relented of the evil which he said he would do to his people.

³³ And Jehovah said to Moses, Whoever has sinned against me, him will I blot out of my book.
³⁴ And now go, lead the people to the place of which I have spoken to you. Behold, my messenger will go before you. Nevertheless in the day when I visit, I will visit their sin upon them.

¹⁷ And Jehovah said to Moses, I will do this thing also that you have spoken, because you have found favor in my sight and I know you by name.

²³ And I besought Jehovah at that time, saying, ²⁴ O lord Jehovah, you have begun to show your servant your greatness and your strong hand, for what god is there in heaven or in earth, that can do according to your works and according to your mighty acts? ²⁵ Let me go over, I beseech you and see the good land that is beyond the Jordan, that pleasant mountain and Lebanon.
²⁶ But Jehovah was angry with me because of you* and did not listen to me. And Jehovah said to me, It will be enough for you. Speak no more to me of this matter. ²⁷ You get up to the top of Pisgah and lift up your eyes westward and northward and southward and eastward and behold with your eyes, for you will not go over this Jordan.

¹⁸ And I fell down before Jehovah, as at the first, forty days and forty nights. I neither ate bread nor drank water, because of all your* sin which you* sinned, in doing what was evil in the sight of Jehovah, to provoke him to anger. ¹⁹ For I was afraid of the anger and hot displeasure with which Jehovah was angry against you* to destroy you*. But Jehovah listened to me that time also.

²⁵ So I fell down before Jehovah the forty days and forty nights that I fell down, because Jehovah had said he would destroy you*.

⁴² He saved others, yet he is not able to save himself. If he is the King of Israel; let him come down now from the cross and we will believe in him.

³⁴ And now go, lead the people to the place of which I have spoken to you. Behold, my messenger will go before you. Nevertheless in the day when I visit, I will visit their sin upon them.

¹ And Jehovah spoke to Moses, Depart, go up from here, you and the people that you have brought up out of the land of Egypt, to the land of which I swore to Abraham, to Isaac and to Jacob, saying, To your seed will I give it.

²⁹ But from there you* will seek Jehovah your God. And you will find him when you search after him with all your heart and with all your soul.

³³ You* will walk in all the way which Jehovah your* God has commanded you*, that you* may live and that it may be well with you* and that you* may prolong your* days in the land which you* will possess.

⁵ And you will love Jehovah your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might.

¹³ You will fear Jehovah your God and him you will serve and will swear by his name.

¹³ And it will happen, if you* will listen diligently to my commandments which I command you* this day, to love Jehovah your* God and to serve him with all your* heart and with all your* soul,

¹⁶ in that I command you this day to love Jehovah your God, to walk in his ways and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his ordinances, that you may live and multiply and that Jehovah your God may bless you in the land where you go in to possess it.

²⁰ to love Jehovah your God, to obey his voice and to cling to him, for he is your life and the length of your days, that you may dwell in the land which Jehovah swore to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac and to Jacob, to give them.

⁵ Only take diligent heed to do the commandment and the law which Moses the servant of Jehovah commanded you*, to love Jehovah your* God and to walk in all his ways and to keep his commandments and to cling to him and to serve him with all your* heart and with all your* soul.

¹¹ If they listen and serve him, they will spend their days in prosperity and their years in pleasures.

¹ I love you, O Jehovah, my strength.

⁹ O fear Jehovah, you* his, holy ones, because there is no want to those who fear him.

¹³ O that my people would listen to me, that Israel would walk in my ways!

¹ All who fear Jehovah are fortunate, who walk in his ways.

²⁰ Jehovah preserves all those who love him, but he will destroy all the wicked.

²² For I spoke not to your* fathers, nor commanded them in the day that I brought them out of the land of Egypt, concerning burnt offerings or sacrifices.
²³ But this thing I commanded them, saying, Listen to my voice and I will be your* God and you* will be my people. And walk you* in all the way that I command you*, that it may be well with you*.

³⁹ And I will give them one heart and one way, that they may fear me forever, for the good of them and of their sons after them.
⁴⁰ And I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from following them, to do them good. And I will put my fear in their hearts, that they may not depart from me.

²⁰ that they may walk in my statutes and keep my ordinances and do them. And they will be my people and I will be their God.

⁸ He has shown you, O man, what is good. And what does Jehovah require of you, but to do justly and to love kindness and to walk humbly with your God?

⁹ For then I will turn to the peoples of a pure language, that they may all call upon the name of Jehovah, to serve him with one consent.

²⁹ Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, because I am meek and humble in heart and you will be finding rest for your souls. ³⁰ For my yoke is easy and my load is light.

³⁷ Now Jesus said to him, You will love the Lord your God in your whole heart and in your whole soul and in your whole mind.

²⁹ But Jesus answered, The first of all the commandments is: ‘Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God, the Lord is one'; ³⁰ and ‘You will love the Lord your God from all your heart and from your whole soul and from your whole mind and from your whole strength.’This is the first commandment. ³¹ And the second is similar, ‘You will love your neighbor like yourself.’There is no other commandment greater than these.
³² And the scribe said to him, In truth, Teacher, you have said well that he is one, and there is no other except him; ³³ and to love him from the whole heart and from the whole intelligence and from the whole soul and from the whole strength and to love his neighbor like himself, is more-than all the whole burnt-offerings and sacrifices.

²⁷ But he answered and said, ‘You will love the Lord your God from your whole heart and from your whole soul and from your whole strength and from your whole mind, and your neighbor like yourself.’

⁴² But woe to you Pharisees! Because you tithe mint and rue and every herb, and are passing over justice and the love of God. It was essential to have practiced these things and to not leave the other things undone.

³¹ Therefore indeed, all the congregations throughout the whole of Judea and Galilee and Samaria had peace. They were being multiplied, being built up, and having conducted-themselves in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit.

⁹ For God is my witness, to whom I am giving-divine service in my spirit in the good-news of his Son, as I constantly make a remembrance of you.

²⁸ Now we know that all things work together toward good, to those who love God, to those who are an invited one according to his purpose.

¹¹ For the grace of God has appeared, which is salvation to all men, ¹² educating us in order that we should live with self-discipline and righteously and devoutly in this current age, after having denied ungodliness and worldly lusts;

²⁸ Hence, receiving an unshakable kingdom, let us have gratitude, through which we give-divine service in ways well pleasing to God, with reverence and piety;

¹⁵ but according to he who called you, who is holy, you yourselves also become holy in all your conduct; ¹⁶ because it has been written, ‘Become holy, because I am holy.’ ¹⁷ And if you call upon the Father, who impartially judges according to the work of each one, conduct yourselves in fear during the time of your foreign residency here;

¹⁵ Do not love the world, nor the things which are in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

¹⁹ We love him, because he loved us first. ²⁰ If anyone say, I love God and then should hate his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, how is he able to love God, whom he has not seen?

² We know in this that we love the children of God, whenever we love God and whenever we are keeping his commandments. ³ For this is the love of God, in order that we should keep his commandments and his commandments are not burdensome.

⁵ Who is he who overcomes the world, if not he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?

²⁴ And Jehovah commanded us to do all these statutes, to fear Jehovah our God for our good always, that he might preserve us alive as at this day.

¹² If you are wise, you are wise for yourself. And if you scoff, you alone will bear it.

³⁹ And I will give them one heart and one way, that they may fear me forever, for the good of them and of their sons after them.

²⁵ But he who has peered into the complete law, the law of freedom, and has remained in it, this one, having not become a forgetful hearer, but a doer of works, this one will be fortunate in his doing.

¹⁹ And he blessed him and said, Abram be blessed from God Most High, possessor of heaven and earth.

²⁹ And Moses said to him, As soon as I have gone out of the city, I will spread abroad my hands to Jehovah. The thunders will cease, neither will there be any more hail, that you may know that the earth is Jehovah's.

⁵ Now therefore, if you* will obey my voice indeed and keep my covenant, then you* will be my own possession from among all peoples, for all the earth is mine,

²⁷ But will God indeed dwell on the earth? Behold, heaven and the heaven of heavens cannot contain you. How much less this house that I have built!

¹⁸ But will God in very deed dwell with men on the earth? Behold, heaven and the heaven of heavens cannot contain you. How much less this house which I have built!

⁶ You are Jehovah, even you alone, you have made heaven, the heaven of heavens, with all their host, the earth and all things that are on it, the seas and all that is in them and you preserve them all. And the host of heaven worships you.

¹ The earth is Jehovah's and the fullness of it, the world and those who dwell in it.

¹² If I were hungry, I would not tell you, because the world is mine and the fullness of it.

¹⁶ The heavens are the heavens of Jehovah, but the earth he has given to the sons of men.

⁴ Praise him, you* heavens of heavens and you* waters that are above the heavens.

¹ Jehovah says thus, Heaven is my throne and the earth is my footstool. What manner of house will you* build to me and what place will be my rest?

⁵ I have made the earth, the men and the beasts that are upon the face of the earth, by my great power and by my outstretched arm and I give it to whom it seems right to me.
⁶ And now I have given all these lands into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, my servant. And the beasts of the field I have also given him to serve him.

²⁶ for ‘The earth is the Lord’s and its fullness.’

²⁸ But if anyone says to you, This has been an idol-sacrifice, do not eat, because of that man who divulged it and because of conscience; for ‘The earth is the Lord’s and its fullness.’

⁸ If Jehovah delights in us, then he will bring us into this land and give it to us, a land which flows with milk and honey.

³⁷ And because he loved your fathers, therefore he chose their seed after them and brought you out with his presence, with his great power, out of Egypt,

⁷ Jehovah did not set his love upon you*, nor choose you*, because you* were more in number than any people, for you* were the fewest of all peoples, ⁸ but because Jehovah loves you*. And because he would keep the oath which he swore to your* fathers, Jehovah has brought you* out with a mighty hand and redeemed you* out of the house of bondage, from the hand of Pharaoh King of Egypt.

¹³ Just-as it has been written, ‘Jacob I loved, but Esau I hated.’
¹⁴ Therefore what shall we say? There is not unrighteousness with God, is there? Let it not happen! ¹⁵ For he says to Moses, ‘I will show-mercy to whomever I show-mercy and I will have pity on whomever I have pity.’ ¹⁶ Therefore consequently, it is not from the one who wills, nor from the one who runs, but from God, the one who shows-mercy. ¹⁷ For the Scripture says to Pharaoh, ‘I have lifted you up for this same thing, that I myself might show in you my power and that my name might be thoroughly proclaimed in all the earth.’ ¹⁸ Therefore consequently, he shows-mercy on whom he wills and he hardens whom he wills.
¹⁹ Therefore you will say to me, Why is he still finding-fault? For who is standing against his will? ²⁰ But-rather, O man, who are you who answers back against God? The molded thing will not say to the one who molded it, why did you make me so, will it? ²¹ Or does the potter not have authority over the clay, to make out of the same batch one vessel for honor and another for dishonor? ²² But what if God, willing to show his wrath and to make his power known, carried us, vessels of wrath having been framed for destruction, in much patience; ²³ and in order that he might make known the riches of his glory upon vessels of mercy, which he prepared beforehand for glory,

⁴¹ I also walked contrary to them and brought them into the land of their enemies. If then their uncircumcised heart be humbled and they then accept of the punishment of their iniquity,

⁶ Know therefore, that Jehovah your God does not give you this good land to possess it for your righteousness, for you are a stiff-necked people.

¹³ Furthermore Jehovah spoke to me, saying, I have seen this people, and behold, it is a stubborn people.

⁶ And Jehovah your God will circumcise your heart and the heart of your seed, to love Jehovah your God with all your heart and with all your soul, that you may live.

²⁷ For I know your rebellion and your stiff neck. Behold, while I am yet alive with you* this day, you* have been rebellious against Jehovah and how much more after my death?

⁴ Circumcise yourselves to Jehovah and take away the foreskins of your* heart, you* men of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem, lest my wrath go forth like fire and burn so that none can quench it, because of the evil of your* practices.

¹⁴ O Jerusalem, wash your heart from wickedness, that you may be saved. How long will your evil thoughts lodge within you?

²⁸ For he is not a Jew openly; nor is circumcision what is openly in the flesh, ²⁹ but he is a Jew in the hidden thing, and the circumcision is of the heart, in spirit, not in the writing; whose praise is not from men, but from God.

¹¹ in whom you were also circumcised with a circumcision not made with hands, in the stripping off of the body of the sins of the flesh, in the circumcision of the Christ,

⁶ But he is giving greater grace. Hence the Scripture says, ‘God resists the haughty, but gives grace to the humble.’
⁷ Therefore, be subject to God and stand against the devil, and he will be fleeing away from you.

²¹ You will not be frightened at them, for Jehovah your God is in the midst of you, a great God and awesome.

²² The Mighty One, God, Jehovah, the Mighty One, God, Jehovah, he knows and Israel he will know, if it is in rebellion, or if in trespass against Jehovah (do not save us this day),

²⁵ For great is Jehovah and greatly to be praised. He also is to be feared above all gods. ²⁶ For all the gods of the peoples are idols. But Jehovah made the heavens.

⁷ Now therefore let the fear of Jehovah be upon you*. Take heed and do it. For there is no unrighteousness with Jehovah our God, nor respect of persons, nor taking of bribes.

⁵ and said, I beseech you, O Jehovah, the God of heaven, the great and awesome God, who keeps covenant and loving kindness with those who love him and keep his commandments:

¹⁴ And I looked and rose up and said to the ranking men and to the rulers and to the rest of the people, Do not be afraid of them. Remember the Lord, who is great and awesome and fight for your* brothers, your* sons and your* daughters, your* wives and your* houses.

³² Now therefore, our God, the great, the mighty and the awesome God, who keeps covenant and loving kindness, do not let all the travail seem little before you, that has come upon us, on our kings, on our rulers and on our priests and on our prophets and on our fathers and on all your people, since the time of the kings of Assyria to this day.

¹⁹ who does not respect the persons of rulers, nor regards the rich more than the poor. For they all are the work of his hands.

²² Out of the north comes golden splendor. God has upon him awesome majesty.
²³ O the Almighty, we cannot find him out. He is excellent in power. And in justice and abundant righteousness he will not afflict.

³ Let them praise your great and awesome name. Holy is he.

² O give thanks to the God of gods, for his loving kindness is everlasting.
³ O give thanks to the Lord of lords, because his loving kindness is everlasting,

¹¹ But Jehovah is with me as an awesome mighty one. Therefore my persecutors will stumble and they will not prevail. They will be utterly put to shame, because they have not dealt wisely, even with an everlasting dishonor which will never be forgotten.

⁴⁷ The king answered to Daniel and said, Of a truth your* God is the God of gods and Lord of kings and a revealer of secrets, since you have been able to reveal this secret.

³⁶ And the king will do according to his will. And he will exalt himself and magnify himself above every god and will speak marvelous things against the God of gods. And he will prosper till the indignation be accomplished, for what is determined will be done.

¹⁴ Now when they came, they say to him, Teacher, we know that you are true and do not care concerning one’s appearance. You do not look at the countenance of men, but teach the way of God in truth. Is it legal to give tribute to Caesar or not?

³⁴ Now Peter opened his mouth and said, In truth, I comprehend that God is not one who shows-favoritism

¹¹ for there is no favoritism with God.

⁶ Now they did not contribute anything to me, that is from those of repute and from those reputed to be something (what sort of person they were previously, carries nothing of any-value to me; God does not accept the countenance of man).

⁹ And the lords, do the same things toward them and be lax with the threatening; knowing that your own Lord is also in the heavens and there is no favoritism from him.

²⁵ But he who does wrong will get back what he did wrong and there is no favoritism with God.

¹⁷ And if you call upon the Father, who impartially judges according to the work of each one, conduct yourselves in fear during the time of your foreign residency here;

¹⁴ These will make war with the Lamb and the Lamb will overcome them because he is Lord of lords and King of kings, and those called and chosen and faithful with him.

¹⁶ And he has upon his garment and upon his thigh a name has been written, King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

²² You* will not afflict any widow, or fatherless child.

⁵ A father of the fatherless and a judge of the widows, is God in his holy habitation.

⁶ Jehovah executes righteous acts and judgments for all who are oppressed.

⁹ Jehovah is good to all and his tender mercies are over all his works.

⁹ Jehovah preserves the travelers. He upholds the fatherless and widow. But the way of the wicked he turns upside down.

¹⁷ Learn to do good. Seek justice, make the oppressed fortunate, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.

¹¹ Leave your fatherless sons; I will preserve them alive. And let your widows trust in me.

³ Assyria will not save us. We will not ride upon horses, nor will we say any more to the work of our hands, Our gods. For in you the fatherless finds mercy.

⁴⁵ Do this that you may become sons of your Father who is in the heavens, because his sun rises upon the evil and the good and it rains upon the righteous and the unrighteous.

¹⁷ Although he did not leave himself unwitnessed, by doing good, giving rainfalls and fruitful seasons to you from heaven, filling our hearts with nourishment and joy.

²¹ And you will not wrong a traveler, neither will you oppress him, because you* were travelers in the land of Egypt.

³³ And if a stranger travels with you in your* land, you* will not do him wrong. ³⁴ The stranger that travels with you* will be to you* as the home-born among you* and you will love him as yourself, for you* were travelers in the land of Egypt. I am Jehovah your* God.

³⁵ However, love^*\'b0 your enemies and do good things for them and lend, hoping for nothing again. And your reward will be much, and you will be sons of the Highest, because he is kind toward the unthankful and evil.

²⁸ But he said to him, You have answered correctly. Do this and you will live.
²⁹ But he, wishing to make himself righteous, said to Jesus, And who is my neighbor?
³⁰ But Jesus, having taken it in, said, A certain man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and he fell among robbers, who both stripped him and laid wounds on him. They went away, leaving him, being half dead. ³¹ But by coincidence, a certain priest was going down on that road, and when he saw him, he evaded him. ³² Now likewise, a Levite also happened to be in the place, when he came and saw him, he evaded him too. ³³ But a certain traveling Samaritan came to him, and having seen him, had compassion. ³⁴ And having come near to him, he bound up his trauma, pouring on them oil and wine, and having mounted him upon his own animal, led him to an inn and cared for him. ³⁵ And upon the next-day, going out, he took out two denarii and gave them to the innkeeper and said, Care for him, and if you spend anything over that, I will be repaying you when I come back again. ³⁶ Therefore, which one of these three seems to have become a neighbor to the one who fell among the robbers?
³⁷ Now he said, He who did an act of mercy with him.
Therefore, Jesus said to him, Travel, and you, do likewise!

¹⁸ Was there no one found, except this immigrant, who returned to give glory to God?

¹⁰ Therefore consequently, as we have opportunity, we should work what is the good thing toward all men but especially in the household of the faith.

¹⁵ But if a brother or sister is naked and may be deficient of daily nourishment, ¹⁶ and anyone out of you may say to them, Go away in peace. Be warmed and be fed, but do not give to them the body’s requirements; what is the profit?

¹⁷ But whoever has the world’s good life and should view his brother having need and then should lock his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him? ¹⁸ My little-children, do not love in word, nor with the tongue, but in work and in truth.

⁴ But you* who clung to Jehovah your* God are alive every one of you* this day.

²² For if you* will diligently keep all this commandment which I command you*, to do it, to love Jehovah your* God, to walk in all his ways and to cling to him,

⁴ You* will walk after Jehovah your* God and fear him and keep his commandments and obey his voice and you* will serve him and cling to him.

⁸ but cling to Jehovah your* God as you* have done to this day.

¹¹ But the king will rejoice in God. Everyone who swears by him will glory, because the mouth of those who speak lies will be stopped.

²³ I have sworn by myself, the word has gone forth from my mouth in righteousness and will not return, that to me every knee will bow, every tongue will confess to God.

¹⁰ Then Jesus says to him, Go behind me, Adversary! For it has been written, ‘You will worship the Lord your God and you will give-divine service to him only.’

⁸ And Jesus answered and said to him, Go behind me, Adversary! It has been written, ‘You will be worshiping the Lord your God and you will be giving-divine service to him only.’

²³ who, having come and having seen the favor of God, rejoiced and was encouraging all with purpose of heart to remain in the Lord,

⁹ Let the love be non-pretended, abhorring evil things, joining yourselves to what is the good thing.

² Jehovah is my strength and song and he has become my salvation. This is my God and I will praise him, my father's God and I will exalt him.

³² For ask now of the days that are past, which were before you, since the day that God created man upon the earth and from the one end of heaven to the other, whether there has been anything as this great thing is, or has been heard like it? ³³ Did a people ever hear the voice of God speaking out of the midst of the fire, as you have heard and live? ³⁴ Or has God ever tried to go and take for him a nation from the midst of another nation, by trials, by signs and by wonders and by war and by a mighty hand and by an outstretched arm and by great terrors, according to all that Jehovah your* God did for you* in Egypt before your* eyes?
³⁵ It was shown to you, that you might know that Jehovah, he is God. There is none else besides him.

²⁴ Only fear Jehovah and serve him in truth with all your* heart, for consider what great things he has done for you*.

²³ And what one nation on the earth is like your people, even like Israel, whom God went to redeem to himself for a people and to make him a name and to do great things for you* and awesome things for your land, before your people whom you redeemed to you out of Egypt, from the nations and their gods?

³ But you are holy, O you who inhabit the praises of Israel.

²¹ They forgot God their Savior, who had done great things in Egypt, ²² wondrous works in the land of Ham and fearful things by the Red Sea.

¹ Do not hold your peace, O God of my praise,

² Behold, God is my salvation. I will trust and will not be afraid, for Jehovah, even Jehovah, is my strength and song and he has become my salvation. ³ Therefore with joy you* will draw water out of the wells of salvation.
⁴ And you* will say in that day, Give thanks to Jehovah. Call upon his name. Declare his practices among the peoples. Make mention that his name is exalted. ⁵ Sing to Jehovah, for he has done excellent things. Let this be known in all the earth. ⁶ Cry aloud and shout, you inhabitant of Zion, for great in the midst of you is the Holy One of Israel.

¹⁹ The sun will no more be your light by day, nor for brightness will the moon give light to you, but Jehovah will be to you an everlasting light and your God your glory.

³ When you did fearful things which we did not look for, you came down; the mountains quaked at your presence.

¹⁴ Heal me, O Jehovah and I will be healed. Save me and I will be saved, for you are my praise.

²⁰ who set signs and wonders in the land of Egypt, even to this day, both in Israel and among other men and made you a name, as at this day, ²¹ and brought out your people Israel out of the land of Egypt with signs and with wonders and with a strong hand and with an outstretched arm and with great terror,

³² He is a light for revelation of the Gentiles and the glory of your people Israel.

²³ And the city has no need of the sun, neither of the moon, in order that they should appear in it; for the glory of God illuminated it and its lamp is the Lamb.

⁵ And he brought him outside and said, Look now toward heaven and number the stars, if you are able to number them. And he said to him, So your seed will be.

²⁷ And the sons of Joseph, who were born to him in Egypt, were two souls. All the souls of the house of Jacob, that came into Egypt, were seventy.

⁵ And all the souls who came out of the loins of Jacob were seventy souls. And Joseph was in Egypt already.

⁵¹ These are those who were numbered of the sons of Israel, six hundred one thousand seven hundred and thirty.

¹⁰ Jehovah your* God has multiplied you*, and behold, you* are this day as the stars of heaven for a multitude.

⁶² And you* will be left few in number, in that you* were as the stars of heaven for multitude, because you did not listen to the voice of Jehovah your God.

²³ Their sons you also multiplied as the stars of heaven and brought them into the land concerning which you said to their fathers that they should go in to possess it.

¹⁴ But Joseph himself, having sent them, called Jacob, his father, and all the relatives, seventy five souls.

¹² And hence these were fathered from one sterile man, just-as the stars of heaven in a multitude and as innumerable as the sand beside the sea shore. \ulnone\nosupersub
