⁵ And let them deliver it into the hand of the workmen who have the oversight of the house of Jehovah. And let them give it to the workmen who are in the house of Jehovah, to repair the broken parts of the house,

⁵ let the priests take it to them, every man from his acquaintance and they will repair the broken parts of the house wherever any breach will be found.

¹¹ And they gave the money that was weighed out into the hands of those who did the work, who had the oversight of the house of Jehovah. And they paid it out to the carpenters and the builders who worked upon the house of Jehovah, ¹² and to the masons and the hewers of stone and for buying timber and hewn stone to repair the broken parts of the house of Jehovah and for all that was laid out for the house to repair it.
¹³ But there were not made for the house of Jehovah cups of silver, snuffers, basins, trumpets, any vessels of gold, or vessels of silver, of the money that was brought into the house of Jehovah, ¹⁴ for they gave that to those who did the work and with it repaired the house of Jehovah.

⁷ For the sons of Athaliah, that wicked woman, had broken up the house of God and also all the dedicated things of the house of Jehovah they bestowed upon the Baals.

¹² And the king and Jehoiada gave it to such as did the work of the service of the house of Jehovah. And they hired masons and carpenters to restore the house of Jehovah and also such as worked iron and brass to repair the house of Jehovah. ¹³ So the workmen labored and the work of repairing went forward in their hands and they set up the house of God in its state and strengthened it.

²⁷ Now concerning his sons and the greatness of the burdens laid upon him and the rebuilding of the house of God, behold, they are written in the commentary of the book of the kings. And Amaziah his son reigned instead of him.

⁷ Also they gave money to the masons and to the carpenters and food and drink and oil, to those of Sidon and to those of Tyre, to bring cedar trees from Lebanon to the sea, to Joppa, according to the grant that they had of Cyrus king of Persia.
