⁵ that you were enriched in him in everything, in all speech and all knowledge;

⁴ And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other languages, just-as the Spirit was giving to them to speak out.

¹² Now if their trespass is the riches of the world and their loss is the riches of the Gentiles; how much more is their fullness?

⁴ For as many things as were written beforehand were written beforehand for our instruction, in order that through the endurance and through the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope.

¹⁴ And my brethren, I also have confidence in myself concerning you, that you yourselves are full of goodness, having been filled with all knowledge, being able also to admonish one another.

⁷ For who is making you the judge? But what do you have which you did not receive? But if you also received it, why are you boasting as having not receive it? ⁸ Already you are satisfied, already you were enriched, you reigned as kings without us, and yet, I wish-that you did yet reign, in order that we also might reign together with you. ⁹ For I am thinking that God has showed us, the apostles, last of all, as men doomed to death, because we have become a spectacle to the world, both to messengers and men. ¹⁰ We are foolish because of Christ, but you are prudent in Christ. We are weak, but you are strong. You are glorious, but we are dishonored.

¹¹ And the weak brother will be perishing on the basis of your knowledge, but Christ died because of him.

⁸ for the word of wisdom is given to one through the Spirit, and the word of knowledge to another according to the same Spirit;

¹⁰ and workings of miracles to another; and prophecy to another; and the discernings of spirits to another; varieties of languages to a different one; and the translation of foreign languages to another;

² And if I have the gift of prophecy and if I know all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so-then to remove mountains, but if I do not have love, I am nothing.

⁸ Love never falls short.
But if there are prophesies, they will be done-away; if there are foreign languages, they will cease; if there is knowledge, it will be done-away.

⁵ Now I wish for all of you to speak with foreign languages, but more in order that you may prophesy, for greater is he who prophesies than he who speaks with foreign languages, unless he translates, in order that the congregation may receive building up.
⁶ But brethren, now if I come to you speaking in foreign languages, what will I profit you, if I do not speak to you either in revelation or in knowledge or in prophesying or in teaching?

²⁶ Therefore brethren, what is it? Whenever you come together, each of you has a psalm, has a teaching, has a revelation, has a foreign language, has a translation. Let all things happen for the building up.

⁶ Because it is God, who said, ‘Illumination shine’out of darkness, who shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

⁷ But just-as you are abounding in everything, in faith and in word and in knowledge and in all diligence and in the love from you to us, see that you also may abound in this favor.

¹¹ You are enriched in everything to all liberality, which is working through us thanksgiving to God.

¹⁷ in order that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the full knowledge of him,

⁷ in order that in the coming ages, he might show the surpassing riches of his grace in kindness upon us in Christ Jesus.

⁸ This grace was given to me the least of all the holy-ones, to proclaim the good-news of the untraceable riches of Christ among the Gentiles;

¹⁹ And pray on my behalf, in order that the word may be given to me, in opening my mouth to make known the mystery of the good-news in boldness,

⁹ And I am praying for this: in order that your love may abound still more and more in full knowledge and all comprehension;

⁹ Because of this, we also do not cease praying and asking on your behalf from the day we heard it, in order that you may be filled with the full knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and intelligence, ¹⁰ for you to walk worthy of the Lord for pleasing him in everything, bearing-fruit in every good work and growing into the full knowledge of God;

³ in whom all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are hidden.

¹⁰ and have clothed yourselves with the new man, who is being renewed to the full knowledge according to the image of the one who created him;

³ praying at the same time concerning us also, in order that God may open a door of the word to us, to speak the mystery of the Christ, because of which I have also been bound; ⁴ in order that I may manifest it, as it is essential for me to speak.

¹³ Who is wise and knowledgeable among you? Let him show out of his good conduct his works in meekness of wisdom.

¹⁸ But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Glory is to him, both now and toward the final day of this world. Amen.
