⁴² So also is the resurrection of the dead. If it is sown in corruption; it is raised up in incorruption.

¹⁹ You will eat bread by the sweat of your face, till you return to the ground, because out of it you were taken. For you are dust and you will return to dust.

¹⁴ if I have said to corruption, You are my father, to the worm, My mother and my sister,

¹⁰ Because you will not leave my soul to Sheol, nor will you allow your holy man to see corruption.

⁹ that he should still live always, that he should not see corruption.

¹⁴ They are appointed as a flock for Sheol. Death will be their shepherd and the upright will have dominion over them in the morning. And their beauty will be for Sheol to consume, that there is no habitation for it.

¹⁷ Behold, for peace I had great bitterness. But you have by love for my soul delivered it from the pit of corruption. For you have cast all my sins behind your back.

³ And those who are wise will shine as the brightness of the expanse and those who turn many to righteousness as the stars everlasting and forever.

⁴³ Then the righteous will be shining out like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears to hear, let him hear.

³⁵ But those who are deemed worthy into that world and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are they betrothed, ³⁶ for neither are they able to die anymore; for they are equal to the messengers, and are sons of God, being sons of the resurrection.

²⁷ because you will not forsake my soul to Hades, neither will you give your Holy One to see decay.

³¹ Foreseeing this, he spoke concerning the resurrection of the Christ, that neither was his soul left to Hades, nor did his flesh see decay.

³⁴ Now that he raised him up from the dead, no longer being about to return to decay, he has spoken thus, I will be giving you the holy faithful things of David. ³⁵ Hence, he also says in different psalm, ‘You will not be giving your Holy One to see decay.’ ³⁶ For indeed David, having attended to the plan of God in his own generation, fell-asleep and was added to his fathers and saw decay; ³⁷ but he whom God raised up saw no decay.

²³ and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into the likeness of an image of corruptible man and of birds and of four footed mammals and of reptiles.

²¹ that even the creation itself will be made free away from the bondage of corruption into the freedom of the glory of the children of God.

⁵⁰ Now brethren, I say this, that flesh and blood is not able to inherit the kingdom of God; neither is corruption inheriting incorruption.
⁵¹ Behold, I tell you a mystery, We indeed will not all be falling-asleep, but we will all be changed, ⁵² in the briefest moment, in the blink of an eye, at the last trumpet; for the last trumpet will sound and the dead will be raised up incorruptible and we will be changed. ⁵³ For it is essential this corruptible body to be clothed with incorruption and this mortal body to be clothed with immortality. ⁵⁴ But whenever this corruptible body has been clothed with incorruption and whenever this mortal has been clothed with immortality, then the word that has been written will become so, Death is swallowed up in victory.

²⁰ For our citizenship exists in the heavens; out of which we are also waiting for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. ²¹ He will fashion the body of our humbleness, that it may become transformed to the body of his glory, according to the working of which he is able to even subject all things to himself.

⁴ into an incorruptible, undefiled and unfading inheritance having been guarded in the heavens for you;
