¹⁸ Beware of Israel, according to the flesh: are not those who eat the sacrifices partners of the altar?

³ And he will offer of the sacrifice of peace offerings an offering made by fire to Jehovah, he will take away the fat that covers the innards and all the fat that is upon the innards, ⁴ and the two kidneys and the fat that is on them, which is by the loins and the lobe of the liver, with the kidneys. ⁵ And Aaron's sons will burn it on the altar upon the burnt offering, which is upon the wood that is on the fire. It is an offering made by fire, of a sweet aroma to Jehovah.

¹¹ And the priest will burn it upon the altar. It is the food of the offering made by fire to Jehovah.

⁶ Every male among the priests will eat of it. It will be eaten in a holy place; it is most holy.

¹¹ And this is the law of the sacrifice of peace offerings, which he will offer to Jehovah. ¹² If he offers it for a thanksgiving, then he will offer with the sacrifice of thanksgiving unleavened cakes mingled with oil and unleavened wafers anointed with oil and cakes mingled with oil, of fine flour soaked. ¹³ He will offer his oblation with the sacrifice of his peace offerings for thanksgiving with cakes of leavened bread. ¹⁴ And from it he will offer one out of each oblation for a heave offering to Jehovah. It will be the priest's who sprinkles the blood of the peace offerings.
¹⁵ And the flesh of the sacrifice of his peace offerings for thanksgiving will be eaten on the day of his oblation; he will not leave any of it until the morning. ¹⁶ But if the sacrifice of his oblation be a vow, or a free-will offering, it will be eaten on the day that he offers his sacrifice and on the morrow what remains of it will be eaten, ¹⁷ but what remains of the flesh of the sacrifice on the third day will be burnt with fire.

¹³ And the custom of the priests with the people was, that, when any man offered sacrifice, the priest's servant came, while the flesh was boiling, with a fork of three teeth in his hand, ¹⁴ and he struck it into the pan, or kettle, or caldron, or pot. All that the fork brought up the priest took with it. So they did in Shiloh to all the Israelites who came there.
¹⁵ And before they burned the fat, the priest's servant came and said to the man who sacrificed, Give flesh to roast for the priest, for he will not have boiled flesh from you, but raw. ¹⁶ And if the man said to him, They will surely burn the fat first and then take as much as your soul desires, then he would say, No, but you will give it to me now and if not, I will take it by force.

¹² And they answered them and said, He is. Behold, he is before you. Make haste now, for he has come today into the city, for the people have a sacrifice today in the high place.
¹³ As soon as you* have come into the city, you* will immediately find him before he goes up to the high place to eat. For the people will not eat until he comes, because he graces the sacrifice, and afterwards those who are bidden eat. Therefore now you* get up, for at this time you* will find him.

³ concerning his Son, (who was born from the seed of David according to the flesh,

¹ Therefore what will we say, that Abraham, our father, has found according to the flesh?

¹² and the father of circumcision, to those not only from the circumcision, but to those who also are marching in the footprints of the faith of our father Abraham which he had in uncircumcision.

³ For I was praying for myself to be accursed from the Christ on behalf of my brethren, my relatives according to the flesh, ⁴ who are Israelites, whose is the sonship and the glory and the covenants and the institution of the law and the divine service and the promises; ⁵ whose are the fathers and from whom is the Christ according to the flesh, who is over all: God is gracious forever. Amen.
⁶ But it is not such-as that the word of God has fallen short. For they are not all Israel, (those who are from Israel); ⁷ neither are they all children, because they are Abraham’s seed, but instead, ‘In Isaac your seed will be called.’ ⁸ This thing is, the children of the flesh, these are not children of God, but the children of the promise are counted for a seed.

¹³ Do you not know that those who work at the sacred things, eat from the things of the temple, and those who wait-upon the altar have their part together with the altar?

¹⁸ Since many are boasting according to the flesh, I will also be boasting. ¹⁹ For you are tolerating the foolish gladly, being so prudent. \ulnone\nosupersub ²⁰ For you tolerate it, if anyone is enslaving you, if anyone is devouring you, if anyone is taking from you, if anyone is lifting himself up, if anyone is whipping you on the face. ²¹ I speak according to our dishonor, as though we were weak. But in whatever anyone may be daring (I speak in foolishness), I am also daring. ²² Are they Hebrews? I also. Are they Israelites? I also. Are they the seed of Abraham? I also.

¹⁶ And as many as will be marching by this standard, peace is upon them and mercy and upon the Israel of God.

¹¹ Hence remember, that previously you, (the Gentiles in the flesh), who are called uncircumcision by what is called circumcision, made by hands in the flesh; ¹² that you were separate from Christ at the time, having been alienated from the citizenship of Israel and strangers from the covenants of the promise, having no hope and were godless in the world.

³ For we are the circumcision, who are giving-divine service in the spirit of God, and boast in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh; ⁴ although I myself might have confidence in the flesh; if some other is thinking to have confidence in the flesh, I yet even more. ⁵ I was circumcised on the eighth day, from the race of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew out of Hebrews; according to the law, a Pharisee;
