¹¹ So they came up to Baal-perazim and David killed* them there. And David said, God has broken my enemies by my hand like the breach of waters. Therefore they called the name of that place Baal-perazim.

²⁸ And the waters returned and covered the chariots and the horsemen, even all the army of Pharaoh who went in after them into the sea, there remained not so much as one of them.

²⁰ And David came to Baal-perazim and David killed* them there. And he said, Jehovah has broken my enemies before me, like the breach of waters. Therefore he called the name of that place Baal-perazim.

¹⁴ As through a wide breach they come. In the midst of the ruin they roll themselves upon me.

¹³ Jehovah also thundered in the heavens and the Most High uttered his voice, hailstones and coals of fire. ¹⁴ And he sent out his arrows and scattered them, Yes, lightnings shot out and confused them.
¹⁵ Then the channels of waters appeared and the foundations of the world were laid bare at your rebuke, O Jehovah, at the blast of the breath of your nostrils.

³ Because they did not get the land in possession by their own sword, nor did their own arm save them, but your right hand and your arm and the light of your countenance, because you were favorable to them.

¹ Praise Jehovah, my rock, who teaches my hands to war and my fingers to fight,

¹⁰ You are he who gives salvation to kings, who rescues David his servant from the hurtful sword.

²¹ For Jehovah will rise up as in Mount Perazim. He will be angry as in the valley of Gibeon, that he may do his work, his foreign work and work his work, his alien work.

²⁷ and the rain came down and the rivers came up and the winds blew and hit that house and it fell and great was its fall.
