² Red horses were in the first chariot; and in the second chariot black horses;

⁸ I watched by night. And behold! a Man riding on a red horse, and He stood among the myrtle trees in the ravine. And behind Him were red, sorrel and white horses.

⁶ The black horses in it go forth into the north country; and the white go forth after them; and the dappled go forth to a south country.

² And I saw. And behold a white horse! And he sitting on it had a bow. And a crown was given to him, and he went forth conquering and to conquer. ³ And when He had opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature say, Come and see. ⁴ And another, a red horse, went out. And power was given to him sitting on it, to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another.
