¹² So indeed the Law is holy, and the commandment is holy and just and good.

⁸ And who is a great nation whose statutes and judgments are so righteous as all this Law which I set before you today?

¹² And now, Israel, what does Jehovah your God ask of you, but to fear Jehovah your God, to walk in all His ways, and to love Him, and to serve Jehovah your God with all your heart and with all your soul,

¹³ And You came down on Mount Sinai, and spoke with them from Heaven, and gave them right judgments and true laws, good statutes and commandments.

⁷ The Law of Jehovah is perfect, converting the soul; the testimony of Jehovah is sure, making the simple wise. ⁸ The Precepts of Jehovah are right, rejoicing the heart; the Commandments of Jehovah are pure, giving light to the eyes. ⁹ The fear of Jehovah is clean, enduring forever; the judgments of Jehovah are true and righteous altogether, ¹⁰ more to be desired than gold, even much fine gold; sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb. ¹¹ And Your servant is warned by them; in keeping them there is great reward. ¹² Who can understand his errors? Oh make me pure from secret faults;

³⁸ Make Your Word sure to Your servant, who is devoted to Your fear.

⁸⁶ All Your Commandments are faithful; they persecute me with lying; help me.

¹²⁷ Therefore I love Your Commandments above gold; yea, even fine gold.

¹³⁷ TZADDI: You are righteous, O Jehovah, and Your judgments are right.

¹⁴⁰ Your Word is very pure; therefore Your servant loves it.

¹⁷² My tongue shall speak Your Word, for all Your Commandments are righteousness.

³¹ Do we then make the Law void through faith? Let it not be! But we establish the Law.

¹⁴ For we know that the law is spiritual, but I am carnal, sold under sin.

¹⁶ If then I do that which I do not desire, I consent to the law that it is good.

² And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, in order to prove by you what is that good and pleasing and perfect will of God.

⁸ But we know that the law is good if a man uses it lawfully,
