¹⁸ For the wrath of God is revealed from Heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness,

⁴⁶ the lord of that servant will come in a day when he does not expect, and at an hour when he does not know. And he will cut him apart, and will appoint him his portion with the unbelievers. ⁴⁷ And that servant who knew his lord's will and did not prepare, nor did according to His will, shall be beaten with many stripes.

¹⁹ And this is the condemnation, that the Light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than the Light, because their deeds were evil. ²⁰ For everyone who does evil hates the Light, and does not come to the Light, lest his deeds should be exposed. ²¹ But he who practices truth comes to the Light so that his works may be revealed, that they exist, having been worked in God.

²⁴ Then after certain days, when Felix came with his wife Drusilla, who was a Jewess, he sent for Paul and heard him concerning the faith in Christ. ²⁵ And as he reasoned of righteousness, temperance, and the Judgment to come, Felix trembled and answered, Go for this time, but taking time later, I will call for you.

¹⁹ because the thing which may be known of God is clearly revealed within them, for God revealed it to them.

²⁸ And even as they did not think fit to have God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do the things not right,

³² who, knowing the righteous order of God, that those practicing such things are worthy of death, not only do them, but have pleasure in those practicing them.

³ And, O man, the one judging those who do such things, and practice them, do you think this, that you shall escape the judgment of God?

¹⁵ who show the work of the Law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and the thoughts between one another accusing or even excusing one another, ¹⁶ in a day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel. ¹⁷ Behold, you are called a Jew, and rest in the Law, and boast in God; ¹⁸ and know His will and approve the things excelling, being instructed out of the Law; ¹⁹ and persuading yourselves to be a guide of the blind, a light to those in darkness; ²⁰ an instructor of the foolish, a teacher of babes, who have the form of knowledge and of the truth in the Law. ²¹ Therefore the one teaching another, do you not teach yourself? The one preaching not to steal, do you steal? ²² The one saying not to commit adultery, do you commit adultery? The one detesting idols, do you rob temples? ²³ You who boast in Law, do you dishonor God through breaking the Law?

¹⁵ because the Law works out wrath, for where no law is, there is no transgression.

⁶ For we yet being without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.

⁹ Much more then, being now justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.

¹³ Do not yield your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin, but yield yourselves to God, as one alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God.

⁶ Let no man deceive you with vain words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the children of disobedience.

⁶ on account of which things' sake the wrath of God is coming on the sons of disobedience,

¹⁰ and with all deceit of unrighteousness in those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, so that they might be saved.

¹ But the Spirit expressly says that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and teachings of demons, ² speaking lies in hypocrisy, being seared in their own conscience,
