⁶ But the righteousness of faith says this: "Do not say in your heart, Who shall ascend into Heaven?" that is, to bring Christ down;

¹¹ For this commandment which I command you today is not hidden from you, neither is it far off. ¹² It is not in Heaven, that you should say, Who shall go up for us to Heaven, and bring it to us, so that we may hear it and do it? ¹³ Nor is it beyond the sea, that you should say, Who shall go over the sea for us to the region beyond the sea, and bring it to us, so that we may hear it and do it? ¹⁴ But the Word is very near you, in your mouth and in your heart, so that you may do it.

⁴ Who has gone up to Heaven and has come down? Who has gathered the wind in His fists? Who has bound the waters in His garments? Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is His name, and what is His Son's name? Surely you know.

¹² If I have told you earthly things and you do not believe, how shall you believe if I tell you heavenly things? ¹³ And no one has ascended up to Heaven except He who came down from Heaven, the Son of Man who is in Heaven.

³³ For the bread of God is He who comes down from Heaven and gives life to the world.

³⁸ For I came down from Heaven, not to do My own will but the will of Him who sent Me.

⁵⁰ This is the Bread which comes down from Heaven, so that a man may eat of it and not die. ⁵¹ I am the Living Bread which came down from Heaven. If anyone eats of this Bread, he shall live forever. And truly the bread that I will give is My flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.

⁵⁸ This is the Bread which came down from Heaven, not as your fathers ate the manna, and died; he who partakes of this Bread shall live forever.

²² even the righteousness of God through the faith of Jesus Christ, toward all and upon all those who believe. For there is no difference,

²⁵ whom God has set forth to be a propitiation through faith in His blood, to declare His righteousness through the passing by of the sins that had taken place before, in the forbearance of God;

¹³ For the promise that he should be the heir of the world was not to Abraham or to his seed through the Law, but through the righteousness of faith.

³⁰ What shall we say then? That the nations, who did not follow after righteousness have taken on righteousness, but a righteousness of faith. ³¹ But Israel, who followed after a law of righteousness did not arrive at a law of righteousness.

⁸ Therefore He says, "When He ascended up on high, He led captivity captive and gave gifts to men." ⁹ (Now that He ascended, what is it but that He also descended first into the lower parts of the earth? ¹⁰ He who descended is the same also as He who ascended up far above all heavens, that He might fill all things.)

⁹ and be found in Him; not having my own righteousness, which is of the Law, but through the faith of Christ, the righteousness of God by faith,

³ who being the shining splendor of His glory, and the express image of His essence, and upholding all things by the word of His power, through Himself cleansing of our sins, He sat down on the right of the Majesty on high,

⁷ By faith Noah, having been warned by God of things not yet seen, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house, by which he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness which is according to faith.
