² who bore record of the Word of God and of the testimony of Jesus Christ and of all the things that he saw.

³² And John bore record, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from Heaven like a dove, and He abode on Him.

¹¹ Truly, truly, I say to you, We speak what we know and testify what we have seen. And you do not receive our witness.

¹⁷ Then the crowd witnessed, those who were with Him when He called Lazarus out of the tomb and raised him from the dead.

³⁵ And he who saw bore record, and his record is true. And he knows that he speaks true, so that you might believe.

²⁴ This is the disciple who testifies of these things and wrote these things. And we know that his testimony is true.

²⁰ For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard.

¹⁵ For you shall be His witness to all men of what you have seen and heard.

¹⁶ But rise and stand on your feet, for I have appeared to you for this purpose, to make you a minister and a witness both of what you saw, and in what I shall appear to you;

For this is the witness of God which He has testified about His Son. ¹⁰ He who believes on the Son of God has the witness in himself. He who does not believe God has made Him a liar, because he does not believe the record that God gave of His Son. ¹¹ And this is the record, that God has given to us everlasting life, and this life is in His Son.

¹² Demetrius has good report by all, and by the truth itself. And we also bear witness, and you know that our witness is true.

⁹ I, John, who also am your brother and companion in the affliction, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the island that is called Patmos, for the Word of God and for the testimony of Jesus Christ.
