³ When I look at Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, the moon and the stars which You have established;

¹ In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

¹⁶ And God made two great lights: the greater light to rule the day and the smaller light to rule the night, and the stars also. ¹⁷ And God set them in the expanse of the heavens to give light upon the earth, ¹⁸ and to rule over the day and over the night; and to divide between the light and the darkness. And God saw that it was good.

¹⁹ and lest you lift up your eyes to the heavens, and when you see the sun, and the moon, and the stars, all the host of heaven, lest you should be driven to worship them and serve them, which Jehovah your God has allotted to all nations under all the heavens.

¹² Is not God high in Heaven? And behold the leading stars, for they are high.

³ Is there any number of His armies? And on whom does not His light arise?

⁵ Look even to the moon, and it shines not; yea, the stars are not pure in His sight;

²⁴ Remember that you magnify His work of which men have sung;

¹ To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David. The heavens declare the glory of God; and the expanse proclaims His handiwork.

⁶ By the Word of Jehovah were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of His mouth.

¹¹ The heavens are Yours, the earth also is Yours; You have founded the world and its fullness.

¹⁹ He appointed the moon for seasons; the sun knows its going down.

² The works of Jehovah are great, sought out by all those who have pleasure in them.

⁷ To Him who made great lights; for His mercy endures forever. ⁸ The sun to rule by day; for His mercy endures forever. ⁹ the moon and stars to rule by night; for His mercy endures forever.

³ Praise Him, sun and moon; praise Him, all stars of light.

²⁰ But if I cast out demons with the finger of God, no doubt the kingdom of God has come on you.

²⁰ For the unseen things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being realized by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, for them to be without excuse.
