Sing aloud to God our strength; shout for joy to the God of Jacob. ² Lift up a psalm, and bring the timbrel here, the pleasing lyre and harp. ³ Blow the ram's horn in the new moon, in the time appointed, on our solemn feast day. ⁴ For this was a Precept for Israel, an ordinance of the God of Jacob. ⁵ This He ordained in Joseph for a testimony, when He went out over the land of Egypt; I heard a language I understood not. ⁶ I removed his shoulder from the burden; his hands were delivered from the pots. ⁷ You called in trouble, and I delivered you; I answered you in the secret place of thunder; I tested you at the waters of Meribah. Selah. ⁸ Hear, O My people, and I will testify to you; O Israel, if you will listen to Me, ⁹ there shall be no strange god in you; nor shall you worship any strange god. ¹⁰ I am Jehovah your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt; open your mouth wide, and I will fill it. ¹¹ But My people would not listen to My voice, and Israel would have none of Me. ¹² So I gave them up to the stubbornness of their own hearts; and they walked in their own conceits. ¹³ Oh that My people had listened to Me, and Israel had walked in My ways! ¹⁴ I would soon have humbled their enemies, and would have turned My hand against their foes. ¹⁵ The haters of Jehovah would have been found liars to Him, and their time would have lasted forever. ¹⁶ And He would have fed them also with the finest of the wheat; and with honey out of the rock I would have satisfied you.

³ And Jehovah said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, in his erring; he is flesh. Yet his days shall be a hundred and twenty years.

¹⁷ So shall you say to Joseph, please lift up the rebellion of your brothers, and their sin. For they did evil to you. And please now lift up the rebellion of the servants of the God of your father. And Joseph wept when they spoke to him.

¹⁴ And they made their lives bitter with hard work in mortar and in bricks, and in all kinds of work in the field; all their work in which they made them do was with harshness.

²³ And it happened after many days the king of Egypt died. And the sons of Israel sighed because of the bondage, and they cried, and their cry came up to God because of the bondage.

⁶ Therefore say to the sons of Israel, I am Jehovah, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will rescue you out of their bondage. And I will redeem you with a stretched-out arm, and with great judgments.

⁴ And Moses said, Thus says Jehovah: About midnight I will go out into the midst of Egypt.

⁹ And Jehovah said to Moses, Pharaoh shall not listen to you, so that My wonders may be multiplied in the land of Egypt.

¹² For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will smite all the first-born in the land of Egypt, both man and beast. And I will execute judgments against all the gods of Egypt. I am Jehovah.

²⁷ Then you shall say, It is the sacrifice of Jehovah's passover, who passed over the houses of the sons of Israel in Egypt, when He struck the Egyptians and delivered our houses. And the people bowed and worshiped.

²⁹ And it happened at midnight Jehovah struck all the first-born in the land of Egypt, from the first-born of Pharaoh that sat on his throne to the first-born of the captive that was in the prison; also all the first-born of cattle.

⁸ And you shall tell your son in that day, saying, This is because of what Jehovah did for me when I came out from Egypt. ⁹ And it shall be a sign to you upon your hand, and for a memorial between your eyes, that Jehovah's Law may be in your mouth. For the Lord has brought you out of Egypt with a strong hand.

¹⁴ And it shall be when your sons asks you in time to come, saying, What is this? you shall say to him, Jehovah brought us out of Egypt by the strength of His hand, from the house of bondage. ¹⁵ And it happened when Pharaoh hardened himself against sending us, Jehovah killed all the first-born of the land of Egypt, both the first-born of man, and the first-born of animals. Therefore I sacrifice to Jehovah all that opens the womb, that are males. But all the first-born of my sons I redeem. ¹⁶ And it shall be for a token upon your hand, and for frontlets between your eyes. For Jehovah brought us out from Egypt by strength of His hand.

¹⁰ And Pharaoh drew near, the sons of Israel lifted up their eyes. And, behold, the Egyptians marched after them. And they were very afraid. And the sons of Israel cried out to Jehovah.

²⁴ And in the morning watch it happened that Jehovah looked to the army of the Egyptians through the pillar of fire and of the cloud, and troubled the army of the Egyptians.

³⁰ So Jehovah saved Israel that day out of the hand of the Egyptians. And Israel saw the Egyptians dead upon the seashore. ³¹ And Israel saw that great work which Jehovah did upon the Egyptians. And the people feared Jehovah, and believed Jehovah and His servant Moses.

²⁰ And Miriam the prophetess, the sister of Aaron, took a timbrel in her hand. And all the women went out after her with timbrels and with dances.

²⁶ And he said, If you will carefully listen to the voice of Jehovah your God, and will do that which is right in His sight, and will give ear to His commandments, and keep all His Laws, I will put none of these diseases upon you, which I have brought upon the Egyptians; for I am Jehovah who heals you.

² And the people wrangled with Moses and said, Give us water that we may drink. And Moses said to them, Why do you wrangle with me? Why do you tempt Jehovah? ³ And the people thirsted there for water. And the people murmured against Moses and said, Why is this, that You brought us up out of Egypt, to kill us and our sons and our cattle with thirst? ⁴ And Moses cried to Jehovah, saying, What shall I do to this people? They are almost ready to stone me. ⁵ And Jehovah said to Moses, Go on in front of the people, and take with you the elders of Israel. And take your rod with which you struck the river, in your hand, and go. ⁶ Behold, I will stand before you there upon the rock in Horeb. And you shall smite the rock, and there shall come water out of it, so that the people may drink. And Moses did so in the sight of the elders of Israel. ⁷ And he called the name of the place Massah, and Meribah, because of the wrangling of the sons of Israel, and because they tempted Jehovah, saying, Is Jehovah among us or not?

¹⁹ And when the voice of the trumpet sounded long, and became very strong, Moses spoke, and God answered him by a voice.

² I am Jehovah your God, who has brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. ³ You shall have no other gods before Me. ⁴ You shall not make to yourselves any graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in the heavens above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. ⁵ You shall not bow yourself down to them, nor serve them. For I Jehovah your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the sons to the third and fourth generation of those that hate me,

²⁴ Speak to the sons of Israel saying: In the seventh month, in the first day of the month, you shall have a sabbath, a memorial summons, a holy convocation. ²⁵ You shall do no work of labor but you shall offer a fire offering to Jehovah.

¹ And Jehovah spoke to Moses saying, ² Make two trumpets of silver for yourself. You shall make them of beaten work. And they shall be used for the calling of the assembly and for causing the camps to go forward. ³ And when they shall blow with them, all the assembly shall gather themselves to you at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. ⁴ And if they blow with one, then the rulers who are heads of the thousands of Israel shall gather themselves to you. ⁵ When you blow an alarm, then the camps that lie on the east parts shall pull up stakes. ⁶ When you blow an alarm the second time, then the camps that lie on the south side shall pull up stakes. They shall blow an alarm for their journeys. ⁷ But when the congregation is to be gathered, you shall blow, but you shall not sound an alarm. ⁸ And the sons of Aaron, the priests, shall blow with the trumpets. And they shall be to you for an ordinance forever throughout your generations. ⁹ And if you go to war in your land against the enemy who fights against you, then you shall blow with the trumpets. And you shall be remembered before Jehovah your God, and you shall be saved from your enemies. ¹⁰ Also in the day of your gladness, and in your solemn days, and in the beginnings of your months, you shall blow with the trumpets over your burnt offerings, and over the sacrifices of your peace offerings. And they shall be to you for a memorial before Jehovah. I am Jehovah your God.

⁹ Only do not rebel against Jehovah, neither fear the people of the land. For they are bread for us. Their protection has moved from them, and Jehovah is with us. Do not fear them.

⁴⁵ And the Amalekites and the Canaanites who were living in that mountain came down and struck them, and beat them down, to Hormah.

³ and will make an offering by fire to Jehovah, a burnt offering or a sacrifice in performing a vow, or in a free-will offering, or in your solemn feasts, to make a sweet savor to Jehovah, from the herd or from the flock,

¹³ These are the Waters of Strife, because the sons of Israel fought with Jehovah, and He showed Himself holy among them.

²⁴ Aaron shall be gathered to his people. For he shall not enter into the land which I have given to the sons of Israel, because you rebelled against My word at the Waters of Strife.

¹¹ And in the beginning of your months you shall offer a burnt offering to Jehovah: two young bulls, and one ram, seven lambs of the first year without spot,

⁴⁵ These are the testimonies and the statutes and the judgments which Moses spoke to the sons of Israel after they came forth out of Egypt,

²⁷ You go near and hear all that Jehovah our God shall say. And you speak to us all that Jehovah our God shall speak to you, and we will hear and act.

²⁹ Oh that there were such a heart in them that they would fear Me and keep all My commandments always, so that it might be well with them and with their sons forever!

¹⁴ You shall not go after other gods, of the gods of the people all around you,

¹⁰ And He repays those who hate Him to their face, to destroy them. He will not be slow to repay him who hates Him. He will repay him to his face.

¹² And now, Israel, what does Jehovah your God ask of you, but to fear Jehovah your God, to walk in all His ways, and to love Him, and to serve Jehovah your God with all your heart and with all your soul, ¹³ to keep the commandments of Jehovah, and His statutes, which I command you today for your good?

¹⁵ Seven days you shall keep a solemn feast to Jehovah your God in the place which Jehovah shall choose. Because Jehovah your God shall bless you in all your increase, and in all the works of your hands, therefore you shall surely rejoice.

⁴⁹ Jehovah shall bring a nation against you from far, from the end of the earth, as the eagle flies; a nation whose tongue you shall not understand,

¹² Jehovah alone led him, and there was no strange god with him. ¹³ He made him ride on the high places of the earth, so that he might eat the increase of the fields. And He made him suck honey out of the rock, and oil out of the flinty rock, ¹⁴ butter from cows, and milk from sheep, with fat of lambs, and rams of the sons of Bashan, and goats, with the fat of kidneys of wheat. And you drank the blood of the grape. ¹⁵ But Jeshurun grew fat and kicked. You grew fat, thick, and satisfied. Then he forsook God who made him, and lightly esteemed the Rock of his salvation.

¹⁸ You forgot the Rock who brought you forth, and ceased to care for God who formed you.

²⁹ If they were wise, they would understand this; they would consider their latter end!

⁴⁶ And he said to them, Set your hearts to all the words which I testify among you today, which you shall command your sons to observe and to do, all the words of this Law.

⁸ And of Levi he said, Let Your Thummim and Your Urim be with Your holy one whom You proved at Massah; You strove with him at the Waters of Strife,

¹³ know for a certainty that Jehovah your God will no more drive out these nations from before you. But they shall be snares and traps to you, and whips in your sides, and thorns in your eyes, until you perish from off this good land which Jehovah your God has given you.

²⁰ And the anger of Jehovah glowed against Israel. And He said, Because this nation has transgressed My covenant which I commanded their fathers, and has not listened to My voice, ²¹ I also from now on will not expel any from before them of the nations that Joshua left when he died; ²² so that by them I may test Israel, whether they are keeping the way of Jehovah, to go in it, as their fathers kept it, or not. ²³ And Jehovah left those nations, without driving them out quickly. And He did not deliver them into the hand of Joshua.

⁸ And after a time he returned to take her, and he turned aside to see the dead body of the lion. And behold! A swarm of bees and honey was in the dead body of the lion. ⁹ And he took some of it in his hands, and went on eating, and came to his father and mother. And he gave to them, and they ate. But he did not tell them that he had taken the honey out of the dead body of the lion.

¹⁸ And the men of the city said to him on the seventh day before the sun went down, What is sweeter than honey, and what stronger than a lion? And he said to them, If you had not plowed with my heifer, you would not have found out my riddle.

²⁵ And all the men of the land came into a forest, and there was honey on the ground. ²⁶ And when the people had come into the woods, behold, a flow of honey! But no one put his hand to his mouth, for the people feared the oath.

²³ And he said, Why will you go to him today? It is neither new moon nor sabbath. And she said, It is well.

²⁴ And Shebaniah, and Jehoshaphat, and Nethaneel, and Amasai, and Zechariah, and Benaiah, and Eliezer, the priests, blew with the trumpets before the ark of God. And Obed-edom and Jehiah were gatekeepers for the ark.

⁶ Also Benaiah and Jahaziel the priests praised with trumpets continually before the ark of the covenant of God.

⁴² And with them were Heman and Jeduthun with trumpets and cymbals for those making a sound, and with musical instruments of God. And the sons of Jeduthun were gatekeepers.

⁴ Behold, I am building a house to the name of Jehovah my God, to dedicate it to Him, and to burn before Him sweet incense, and for the continual showbread, and for the burnt offerings morning and evening, on the sabbaths, and on the new moons, and on the solemn feasts of Jehovah our God. This is an ordinance forever to Israel.

¹² And the Levitical singers, all of them of Asaph, of Heman, of Jeduthun, with their sons and their brothers, being clothed in white linen, having cymbals and with harps and lyres, stood at the east end of the altar, and with them a hundred and twenty priests sounding with trumpets,

¹³ even as the duty of every day required, offering according to the commandment of Moses, on the sabbaths and on the new moons, and on the solemn feasts, three times in the year, even in the Feast of Unleavened Bread, and in the Feast of Weeks, and in the Feast of Tabernacles.

¹² And behold, God Himself is with us as Commander, and His priests with sounding trumpets to cry alarm against you. O sons of Israel, do not fight against Jehovah, the God of your fathers, for you shall not prosper!

⁴⁴ As soon as they hear of Me, they shall obey Me; the sons of strangers shall bow down to Me. ⁴⁵ The sons of strangers shall fade away and be afraid out of their strongholds.

⁷ Jehovah is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in Him, and I am helped; therefore my heart greatly rejoices; and with my song I will praise Him.

¹ Rejoice in Jehovah, O righteous ones; praise is becoming for the upright. ² Praise Jehovah with lyre; sing to Him with a harp of ten strings. ³ Sing to Him a new song; play skillfully with shouts of joy.

³ Trust in Jehovah, and do good; you shall dwell in the land, and you shall be fed on truth. ⁴ Delight yourself also in Jehovah, and He shall give you the desires of your heart.

²⁰ If we have forgotten the name of our God, or stretched out our hands to a strange god,

Selah. ⁹ Do to them as to Midian, as to Sisera, as to Jabin at the torrent Kishon; ¹⁰ who perished at Endor; they became as dung for the earth. ¹¹ Make their nobles like Oreb, and like Zeeb; yea, all their princes like Zebah, and like Zalmunna; ¹² who said, Let us take possession for ourselves of the houses of God. ¹³ O my God, make them like a wheel; like the stubble before the wind. ¹⁴ As the fire burns a forest, and as the flame sets the mountains on fire, ¹⁵ so pursue them with Your tempest, and make them afraid with Your storm. ¹⁶ Fill their faces with shame, that they may seek Your name, O Jehovah. ¹⁷ Let them be ashamed and troubled forever; yea, let them be put to shame, and lost; ¹⁸ so that men may know that Your name is JEHOVAH, that You alone are the Most High over all the earth.

¹⁴ Because He has set His love on Me, therefore I will deliver Him; I will set Him on high, because He has known My name. ¹⁵ He shall call on Me, and I will answer Him; I will be with Him in trouble; I will deliver Him, and honor Him.

¹ Oh come, let us sing to Jehovah; let us make a joyful noise to the Rock of our salvation. ² Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise to Him with psalms.

¹ When Israel went out of Egypt, the house of Jacob from a people of strange language,

¹⁴ He makes peace in your borders and fills you with the finest of the wheat.

¹ Praise Jehovah! Sing to Jehovah a new song, His praise in the congregation of saints. ² Let Israel rejoice in his Maker; let the sons of Zion be joyful in their King. ³ Let them praise His name in the dance; let them sing praises to Him with the timbrel and harp.

³⁰ They would have none of my counsel; they despised all my correction,

¹⁹ If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land;

⁴ For You have broken the yoke of his burden, and the staff of his shoulder, the rod of his taskmaster, as in the day of Midian.

²⁷ And it shall be, in that day his burden shall be taken away from off your shoulder, and his yoke from off your neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.

³ Bow down your ear, and come to Me; hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David. ⁴ Behold, I have given Him for a witness to the people, a Leader and Commander of peoples.

²² They will not build, and another live in them; they will not plant, and another eat. For like the days of a tree are the days of My people, and My elect will long enjoy the work of their hands.

¹¹ Has a nation changed their gods who are yet no gods? But My people have changed their Glory for that which does not profit. ¹² Be amazed, O heavens, at this, and be horribly afraid; be completely desolated, says Jehovah. ¹³ For My people have committed two evils; they have forsaken Me, the Fountain of living waters, to hew out cisterns for themselves, broken cisterns that can hold no water.

¹⁵ Lo, I will bring a nation on you from afar, O house of Israel, says Jehovah. It is an enduring nation, it is an ancient nation, a nation whose language you do not know, nor understand what they say.

²³ But I commanded them this thing, saying, Obey My voice, and I will be your God, and you shall be My people; and walk in all the ways that I have commanded you, so that it may be well with you. ²⁴ But they did not listen, nor bow their ear, but walked in their own plans, in the stubbornness of their evil heart, and went backward and not forward.

¹⁶ As for the Word that you have spoken to us in the name of Jehovah, we will not listen to you. ¹⁷ But we will certainly do whatever thing goes forth out of our own mouth, to burn incense to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings to her, as we have done, we, and our fathers, our kings, and our rulers, in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem. For then we had plenty of food, and were well, and saw no evil.

⁶ And He violated His booth like a garden, and destroyed His meeting places. Jehovah caused the meeting places and sabbaths to be forgotten in Zion, and He despised the king and the priest in the fury of His anger.

²⁰ and keep My sabbaths holy; and they shall be a sign between Me and you, that you may know that I am Jehovah your God.

⁸ And I will cut off the people from Ashdod, and him who holds the scepter from Ashkelon, and I will turn My hand against Ekron. And the rest of the Philistines shall perish, says the Lord Jehovah.

⁶ who drink wine in bowls, and anoint themselves with the best of oils; nor do they grieve for the breaking of Joseph!

¹⁵ Behold upon the mountains the feet of Him who brings good news, making it heard, Peace! O Judah, keep your appointed feasts, fulfill your vows; for the wicked shall pass through you no more; he is completely cut off.

¹¹ But they refused to listen, and gave a stubborn shoulder, and made heavy their ears from hearing.

⁷ Awake, O sword, against My Shepherd, and against the Man who is My companion, says Jehovah of Hosts; strike the Shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered. And I will turn My hand on the little ones.

¹¹ Judah has dealt treacherously, and an abomination is committed in Israel and in Jerusalem. For Judah has profaned the holy place of Jehovah, which He loves, and has married the daughter of a foreign god.

²⁹ Take My yoke on you and learn of Me, for I am meek and lowly in heart, and you shall find rest to your souls.

³² "I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob?" God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.

³⁷ O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the one killing the prophets and stoning those who are sent to her, how often would I have gathered your children together, even as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you would not!

²⁶ And when they had sung a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives.

⁴¹ And as He drew near, He beheld the city and wept over it, ⁴² saying, If you had known, even you, even at least in this day of yours, the things for your peace! But now they are hidden from your eyes.

¹¹ Truly, truly, I say to you, We speak what we know and testify what we have seen. And you do not receive our witness.

³² and what He has seen and heard, that He testifies, and no one receives His testimony. ³³ He who has received His testimony has set his seal to this, that God is true.

³⁷ And in the last day of the great feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink.

⁷ If you abide in Me, and My Words abide in you, you shall ask what you will, and it shall be done to you.

²² If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not have had sin; but now they have no excuse for their sin. ²³ He who hates Me hates My Father also.

²³ And in that day you shall ask Me nothing. Truly, truly, I say to you, Whatever you shall ask the Father in My name, He will give you.

⁴² Then God turned and gave them over to serve the host of the heavens, as it is written in the book of the Prophets: "O house of Israel, have you offered to Me slain beasts and sacrifices forty years in the wilderness?

¹⁶ who in past generations allowed all nations to walk in their own ways.

²¹ testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.

²⁴ Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their own bodies between themselves.

²⁶ For this cause, God gave them up to dishonorable affections. For even their women changed the natural use into that which is against nature. ²⁷ And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust toward one another; males with males working out shamefulness, and receiving in themselves the recompense which was fitting for their error.

³⁰ backbiters, haters of God, insolent, proud, braggarts, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,

⁷ because the carnal mind is enmity against God, for it is not subject to the Law of God, neither indeed can it be.

⁵ For though there are those who are called gods, whether in Heaven or in earth (as there are many gods and many lords), ⁶ but there is to us only one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in Him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, through whom are all things, and we by Him.

²¹ In the Law it is written, "By other tongues and other lips I will speak to this people, and even so they will not hear Me, says the Lord." ²² So that tongues are not a sign to those who believe, but to those who do not believe. But prophesying is not to those who do not believe, but to those who believe.

¹⁹ and to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge, that you might be filled with all the fullness of God. ²⁰ Now to Him who is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,

¹⁹ speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;

¹³ I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

¹⁶ Therefore let no one judge you in food or in drink, or in respect of a feast, or of the new moon, or of the sabbaths.

¹⁶ Let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

⁹ whose coming is according to the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, ¹⁰ and with all deceit of unrighteousness in those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, so that they might be saved. ¹¹ And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie,

²⁹ Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy of punishment, the one who has trampled the Son of God, and who has counted the blood of the covenant with which he was sanctified an unholy thing, and has insulted the Spirit of grace?

¹³ Is any among you afflicted? Let him pray. Is any cheerful? Let him sing psalms.

⁹ If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater. For this is the witness of God which He has testified about His Son.

⁶ And He said to me, It is done. I am the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End. To him who thirsts I will give of the fountain of the Water of Life freely.

¹⁷ And the Spirit and the bride say, Come! And let the one hearing say, Come! And let the one who is thirsty come. And he willing, let him take of the Water of Life freely.
