² For You are the God of my strength; why do You cast me off? Why do I go mourning under the affliction of the enemy?

² Jehovah is my strength and song, and He has become my salvation. He is my God, and I will glorify Him, my father's God, and I will exalt Him.

⁹ And you, Solomon my son, know the God of your father and serve Him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind. For Jehovah searches all hearts and understands all the imaginations of the thoughts. If you seek Him, He will be found by you. But if you forsake Him, He will cast you off forever.

⁷ Jehovah is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in Him, and I am helped; therefore my heart greatly rejoices; and with my song I will praise Him.

⁴ Bring me out of the net that they hid for me, for You are my strength.

⁹ I will say to God my rock, Why have You forgotten me? Why do I go mourning because of the cruelty of the enemy?

⁹ Now You have cast us off, and have shamed us, and You do not go forth with our armies.

⁹ Cast me not off in the time of old age; forsake me not when my strength fails.

⁷ Will the Lord cast off forever? And will He be favorable no more?

¹⁴ For Jehovah will not cast off His people, nor will He forsake His inheritance.

⁷ O Lord Jehovah, the strength of my salvation, You have covered my head in the day of battle.

³¹ but those who wait on Jehovah shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.

²⁴ He says, Only in Jehovah do I have righteousness and strength; even to Him he comes. And they are ashamed, all who are angry with Him.

¹² And I will strengthen them in Jehovah; and they shall walk up and down in His name, says Jehovah.

¹⁰ Finally, my brothers, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.

¹³ I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
