³⁰ I have chosen the way of truth; I have laid Your judgments before me.

¹⁸ Therefore you shall lay up these my words in your hearts and in your souls, and bind them for a sign upon your hand, so that they may be as frontlets between your eyes. ¹⁹ And you shall teach them to your sons, speaking of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up. ²⁰ And you shall write them upon the door posts of your house, and upon your gates,

¹⁵ And if it seems evil to you to serve Jehovah, choose this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served Beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you live. But as for me and my house, we will serve Jehovah.

²⁴ Your testimonies also are my delight and my advisers.

²⁹ Remove from me the way of lying; and grant me Your Law graciously.

⁵² I remembered Your judgments of old, O Jehovah, and have comforted myself.

¹¹¹ I have taken Your testimonies as an inheritance forever; for they are the rejoicing of my heart.

¹⁷³ Let Your hand help me; for I have chosen Your Precepts.

²⁹ instead they hated knowledge and did not choose the fear of Jehovah.

⁴² But one thing is needful, and Mary has chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her.

¹⁹ And this is the condemnation, that the Light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than the Light, because their deeds were evil. ²⁰ For everyone who does evil hates the Light, and does not come to the Light, lest his deeds should be exposed. ²¹ But he who practices truth comes to the Light so that his works may be revealed, that they exist, having been worked in God.

⁴⁵ And because I tell you the truth, you do not believe Me.

² desire the sincere milk of the Word, as newborn babes, so that you may grow by it;

⁴ I rejoiced greatly that I found your children walking in truth, as we have received command from the Father.
