¹⁸ And Edom shall be a possession. Seir also shall be a possession for his enemies. And Israel shall do valiantly.

²⁹ Let people serve you, and let nations bow down to you. Be lord over your brothers, and let your mother's sons bow down to you. Cursed be everyone that curses you, and blessed be he that blesses you.

⁴⁰ And by your sword you shall live, and shall serve your brother. And it shall be when you shall have the dominion, you shall break his yoke from off your neck.

³ And Jacob sent messengers before him to Esau his brother, to the land of Seir, the country of Edom.

¹ Who is this who comes from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah, this One adorned in His clothing, bending down in His great power? I who speak in righteousness, great to save.

¹² so that they may possess the remnant of Edom, and of all the nations on whom My name is called, says Jehovah who is doing this.
