⁵ And he spoke to Korah and to all his company, saying, Even tomorrow Jehovah will show who are His, and him who is holy, and will cause him to come near to Him; even him whom He has chosen, He will cause to come near to Him.

¹ And you shall take to yourself Aaron your brother, and his sons with him, from among the sons of Israel, so that he may minister to Me in the priest's office: Aaron and Aaron's sons, Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.

⁴³ And they shall be upon Aaron, and upon his sons, when they come in to the tabernacle of the congregation, or when they come near the altar to minister in the holy place; so that they do not bear iniquity, and die. It shall be a statute forever to him and his seed after him.

² Take Aaron, and his sons with him, and the garments, and the anointing oil, and a young bull for the sin offering, and two rams, and a basket of unleavened bread.

³ Then Moses said to Aaron, It is that which Jehovah spoke, saying, I will be sanctified in them that come near me, and before all the people I will be glorified. And Aaron held his peace.

⁶ They shall be holy to their God and not profane the name of their God. For they offer the fire offerings of Jehovah, the bread of their God. Therefore they shall be holy. ⁷ They shall not take a wife who is a whore, or defiled. Neither shall they take a woman put away from her husband. For he is holy to his God. ⁸ And you shall sanctify him, for he offers the bread of your God. He shall be holy to you. For I am holy, Jehovah who sanctifies you.

¹² Neither shall he go out of the sanctuary, nor profane the sanctuary of his God; for the crown of the anointing oil of his God is on him. I am Jehovah. ¹³ And he shall take a wife in her virginity. ¹⁴ He shall not take a widow or a divorced woman, or profane, or a harlot, but he shall take a virgin of his own people to wife. ¹⁵ And he shall not defile his seed among his people. For I, Jehovah, do sanctify him.

³ And they gathered themselves against Moses and against Aaron, and said to them, You take too much upon you, since all the congregation are holy, every one of them, and Jehovah is among them. Why then do you lift yourselves up above the congregation of Jehovah?

⁵ And it shall be, the rod of the man whom I shall choose shall blossom. And I will make to cease from Me the murmurings of the sons of Israel by which they murmur against you.

²⁸ And did I choose him out of all the tribes of Israel to be My priest, to offer upon My altar, to burn incense, to wear an ephod before Me? And did I give to the house of your father all the offerings made by fire from the sons of Israel?

⁴ Blessed is the one whom You choose, and cause to come near You. He shall dwell in Your courts; we shall be satisfied with the goodness of Your house, of Your holy temple.

²⁶ He sent Moses His servant, and Aaron whom He had chosen.

⁵ And strangers will stand and feed your flocks, and the sons of the stranger will be your plowmen and your vinedressers. ⁶ But you will be named the priests of Jehovah; it will be said of you, Ministers of our God; you will eat the riches of the nations, and you will revel in their glory.

⁴⁶ And the chamber facing northward is for the priests, the keepers of the charge of the altar. They are the sons of Zadok among the sons of Levi, who come near Jehovah to minister to Him.

¹⁵ But the priests, the Levites, the sons of Zadok, who kept the charge of My sanctuary when the sons of Israel went astray from Me, they shall come near Me to minister to Me, and they shall stand before Me to offer to Me the fat and the blood, says the Lord Jehovah. ¹⁶ They shall enter My sanctuary, and they shall come near My table, to minister to Me, and they shall keep My charge.

¹⁸ Then you shall again see the difference between the righteous and the wicked, between him who serves God, and him who does not serve Him.

¹⁶ You have not chosen Me, but I have chosen you and ordained you that you should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain; that whatever you shall ask of the Father in My name, He may give it to you.

² until the day He was taken up, having given directions to the apostles whom He chose, through the Holy Spirit;

²⁴ And they prayed and said, You, Lord, knower of all hearts, show which one You chose from these two,

² As they ministered to the Lord and fasted, the Holy Spirit said, So, then, separate Barnabas and Saul to Me for the work to which I have called them.

⁷ And after much disputing, Peter rose up and said to them, Men, brothers, you recognize that from ancient days God chose among us that through my mouth the nations should hear the Word of the gospel, and believe.

¹⁴ And he said, The God of our fathers has chosen you to know His will and to see the Just One, and to hear a voice out of His mouth.

¹³ But now in Christ Jesus you who were once afar off are made near by the blood of Christ.

³ Therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. ⁴ No one who wars tangles with the affairs of this life, that he may please him who chose him to be a soldier.

¹⁹ Nevertheless the foundation of God stands sure, having this seal: "The Lord knew those who are His." And, "Let everyone who names the name of Christ depart from iniquity!"

¹⁹ Therefore, brothers, having boldness to enter into the Holy of Holies by the blood of Jesus, ²⁰ by a new and living way which He has consecrated for us through the veil, that is to say, His flesh; ²¹ and having a High Priest over the house of God, ²² let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies having been washed with pure water.

¹⁴ Follow peace with all, and holiness, without which no one shall see the Lord;

⁵ you also as living stones are built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. ⁶ Therefore also it is contained in the Scripture: "Behold, I lay in Zion a chief corner Stone, elect, precious, and he who believes on Him shall never be ashamed." ⁷ Therefore to you who believe is the honor. But to those who are disobedient, He is the Stone which the builders rejected; this One came to be the Head of the corner, ⁸ and a Stone-of-stumbling and a Rock-of-offense to those disobeying, who stumble at the Word, to which they also were appointed. ⁹ But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for possession, so that you might speak of the praises of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;

⁶ and made us kings and priests to God and His Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.

⁹ And they sang a new song, saying, You are worthy to take the book and to open its seals, for You were slain and have redeemed us to God by Your blood out of every kindred and tongue and people and nation. ¹⁰ And You made us kings and priests to our God, and we will reign over the earth.
