³³ saying, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem. And the Son of Man will be betrayed to the chief priests and to the scribes. And they will condemn Him to death and will deliver Him to the nations.

²¹ From that time Jesus began to show His disciples that He must go to Jerusalem and suffer many things from the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day.

²² And while they stayed in Galilee, Jesus said to them, The Son of Man shall be betrayed into the hands of men. ²³ And they will kill Him, and the third day He will be raised again. And they grieved exceedingly.

¹⁷ And going up to Jerusalem, Jesus took the twelve disciples apart in the way, and said to them, ¹⁸ Behold, we go up to Jerusalem. And the Son of Man shall be betrayed to the chief priests and to the scribes, and they shall condemn Him to death. ¹⁹ And they shall deliver Him to the nations to mock and to scourge and to crucify. And the third day He shall rise again.

⁶⁶ What do you think? They answered and said, He is worthy of death.

² And when they had bound Him, they led Him away and delivered Him to Pontius Pilate the governor.

³¹ And He began to teach them that the Son of Man must suffer many things and be rejected by the elders and the chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise again.

³¹ For He taught His disciples and said to them, The Son of Man is delivered into the hands of men, and they shall kill him. And after He is killed, He shall rise the third day.

⁶⁴ You have heard the blasphemy; what do you think? And they all condemned Him to be guilty of death.

¹ And immediately in the morning the chief priests held a consultation with the elders and scribes and the whole council. And they bound Jesus and led Him away and delivered Him to Pilate.

²² saying, The Son of Man must suffer many things and be rejected by the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be slain, and be raised the third day.

³¹ And He took the Twelve and said to them, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem and all things that are written by the prophets concerning the Son of Man will be accomplished. ³² For He will be delivered to the nations and will be mocked and insulted and spat on. ³³ And they will scourge Him and put Him to death, and the third day He will rise again.

¹ And rising up, all the multitude of them led Him before Pilate. ² And they began to accuse Him, saying, We have found this one perverting the nation and forbidding them to give tribute to Caesar, saying himself to be a king, Christ.

²¹ But they cried, saying, Crucify! Crucify Him!

⁶ He is not here, but has risen. Remember how He spoke to you when He was still in Galilee, ⁷ saying, The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men and be crucified, and the third day rise again?

²⁸ Then they led Jesus from Caiaphas into the praetorium. And it was early. And they did not go into the praetorium, that they should not be defiled, and that they might eat the Passover.

¹¹ Jesus answered, You could have no authority against Me unless it were given to you from above. Therefore he who delivered Me to you has the greater sin.

¹³ The God of Abraham and of Isaac and of Jacob, the God of our fathers, has glorified His son Jesus, whom you delivered up, denying Him in the presence of Pilate, when he had decided to let Him go. ¹⁴ But you denied the Holy and Just One and desired a murderer to be given to you.

²⁷ For those living in Jerusalem, and their rulers, not having known this One, and the voices of the Prophets being read throughout every sabbath, condemning Him, they fulfilled the Scriptures.

²² And now, behold, I am going bound by the Spirit to Jerusalem, not knowing the things that shall happen to me there,

⁶ You have condemned and murdered the just; he does not resist you.
