⁷ And I will draw Sisera to you, the captain of Jabin's army, at the river Kishon, together with his chariots and his multitude. And I will deliver him into your hands.

⁴ And I will harden Pharaoh's heart, that he will follow them. And I will be honored upon Pharaoh, and upon all his army, so that the Egyptians may know that I am Jehovah. And they did so.

¹³ And if a man does not lie in wait, but God delivers him into his hand, then I will appoint you a place where he shall flee.

⁷ Then you shall rise up from the ambush, and seize on the city; for Jehovah your God will deliver it into your hand.

⁸ And Jehovah said to Joshua, Do not fear them, for I have delivered them into your hands. There shall not a man of them stand before you.

⁶ And Jehovah said to Joshua, Do not be afraid because of them, for tomorrow about this time I will deliver them up, all killed before Israel. You shall hamstring their horses and burn their chariots with fire.

²⁰ For it was of Jehovah to harden their hearts so that they should come against Israel in battle, so that they might be destroyed, so that they might have no favor, but that He might destroy them, as Jehovah commanded Moses.

¹⁴ And Deborah said to Barak, Up! For this is the day in which Jehovah has delivered Sisera into your hand. Has not Jehovah gone out before you? So Barak went down from Mount Tabor, and ten thousand men after him.

²¹ The river of Kishon swept them away, that ancient river, the river Kishon. O my soul, you trampled in strength.

¹⁰ Behold, your eyes have seen today how Jehovah had delivered you today into my hand in the cave. And one said to kill you. But I had pity on you. And I said, I will not put forth my hand against my lord, for he is Jehovah's anointed.

¹⁸ And you have shown this day how you have dealt well with me, because when Jehovah shut me up into your hand, you did not kill me.

⁴⁰ And Elijah said to them, Take the prophets of Baal. Do not let one of them escape. And they took them. And Elijah brought them down to the torrent Kishon and killed them there.

⁹ Do to them as to Midian, as to Sisera, as to Jabin at the torrent Kishon; ¹⁰ who perished at Endor; they became as dung for the earth.

¹⁰ So says the Lord Jehovah: And it shall be in that day that things shall come into your heart, and you shall devise an evil plan. ¹¹ And you shall say, I will go up to the land of open spaces. I will go to those at ease, who dwell securely, all of them dwelling without walls, and there are no bars nor gates to them, ¹² in order to take a spoil, and to steal a prize; to turn your hand on the inhabited waste places, and on the people gathered out of the nations, who have gotten cattle and goods, who dwell in the midst of the land. ¹³ Sheba and Dedan, and the merchants of Tarshish, with all their young lions, shall say to you, Have you come to take a spoil? Have you gathered your company to steal a prize, to carry away silver and gold, to take away cattle and goods, to take a great spoil? ¹⁴ So, son of man, prophesy and say to Gog, So says the Lord Jehovah: In that day when My people of Israel dwells securely, shall you not know it? ¹⁵ And you shall come from your place out of the recesses of the north, you and many peoples with you, all of them riding on horses, a great company and a mighty army. ¹⁶ And you shall come up on My people Israel like a cloud, to cover the land. It shall be in the last days, and I will bring you against My land, so that the nations may know Me when I shall be sanctified in you, O Gog, before their eyes.

¹¹ Gather yourselves and come, all you nations, and gather yourselves together all around; cause Your mighty ones to come down there, O Jehovah. ¹² Let the nations be awakened and come up to the valley of Jehoshaphat; for there I will sit to judge all the nations all around. ¹³ Put in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe. Come, come down; for the press is full; the vats overflow, for their wickedness is great. ¹⁴ Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision; for the day of Jehovah is near in the valley of decision!
