²⁷ And Joshua said to all the people, Behold, this stone shall be a witness to us, for it has heard all the Words of Jehovah which He spoke to us. It shall therefore be a witness to you, lest you deny your God.

⁴⁴ And come now, let us make a covenant, you and I. Therefore the name of it was called Heap of Testimony, ⁴⁹ and Watchtower, for he said, Jehovah watch between you and me when we are absent from one another. ⁵⁰ If you shall not afflict my daughters, or if you shall take wives besides my daughters, no man is with us. See! God is witness between you and me. ⁵¹ And Laban said to Jacob, Behold this heap, and behold the pillar which I have set up between you and me. ⁵² This heap is a witness, and the pillar is a witness, that I will not pass over this heap to you, and that you shall not pass over this heap and this pillar to me, for harm.

²⁶ I call Heaven and earth to witness against you this day, that you shall soon utterly perish from off the land which you are crossing over Jordan to possess. You shall not prolong your days upon it, but shall utterly be destroyed.

¹⁹ I call Heaven and earth to record today against you. I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing. Therefore, choose life, so that both you and your seed may live,

¹⁹ Now, therefore, write this song for you, and teach it to the sons of Israel. Put it in their mouths, so that this song may be a witness for Me against the sons of Israel.

²¹ And it shall be when many evils and troubles have found them, this song shall testify against them as a witness. For it shall not be forgotten out of the mouths of their seed. For I know their imagination which they do, even now, before I have brought them into the land which I swore.

²⁶ Take this book of the Law, and put it in the side of the ark of the covenant of Jehovah your God, so that it may be there for a witness against you.

³⁴ And the sons of Reuben and the sons of Gad proclaimed regarding the altar, that it was a witness between us that Jehovah is God.

¹² And Samuel took a stone and set it between Mizpeh and Shen, and called the name of it Ebenezer, saying, Jehovah has helped us until now.

²³ For trouble from God is a terror to me, and I could not do anything because of His highness.

⁹ lest I be full and deceive, and say, Who is Jehovah? Or lest I be poor, and steal, and violate the name of my God.

² Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth; for Jehovah has spoken, I have nursed and brought up sons, and they have rebelled against Me.

¹¹ For the stone shall cry out of the wall, and the beam out of the timber shall answer it.

³³ But whoever shall deny Me before men, I will also deny him before My Father in Heaven.

⁴⁰ And He answered and said to them, I tell you that if these should be silent, the stones would cry out.

¹² If we suffer, we shall also reign with Him. If we deny Him, He also will deny us. ¹³ If we do not believe Him, yet He remains faithful; He cannot deny Himself.

¹⁶ They profess that they know God, but in their works they deny Him, being abominable and disobedient and reprobate to every good work.

⁸ I know your works. Behold, I have given before you an open door, and no one can shut it. For you have a little strength and have kept My Word and have not denied My name.
