¹⁵ And if it seems evil to you to serve Jehovah, choose this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served Beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you live. But as for me and my house, we will serve Jehovah.

¹⁹ For I know him, that he will command his sons and his house after him, and they shall keep the way of Jehovah, to do justice and judgment, that Jehovah may bring upon Abraham that which He has spoken of him.

¹⁰ And I said to you, I am Jehovah your God. Do not fear the gods of the Amorites in whose land you live. But you have not obeyed My voice.

¹⁵ And she said, Behold, Your sister-in-law has gone back to her people and to her gods. Return after your sister-in-law. ¹⁶ And Ruth said, Do not beg me to leave you, to return from following after you. For where you go, I will go. Where you stay, I will stay. ² I will behave myself wisely in a perfect way. O when will You come to me? I will walk within my house with a perfect heart.
