³⁸ For I came down from Heaven, not to do My own will but the will of Him who sent Me.

⁷ Then I said, Lo, I come, in the volume of the Book it is written of Me; ⁸ I delight to do Your will, O My God; and Your Law is within My heart.

¹⁰ Yet it pleased Jehovah to crush Him; to grieve Him; that He should put forth His soul as a guilt-offering. He shall see His seed, He shall prolong His days, and the will of Jehovah shall prosper in His hand.

²⁸ even as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.

³⁹ And He went a little further and fell on His face, and prayed, saying, O My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me. He takes away the first so that He may establish the second.
