¹⁵ I do not pray for You to take them out of the world, but for You to keep them from the evil.

³⁸ And the man out of whom the demons had gone out begged Him, desiring to be with Him. But Jesus sent him away, saying, ³⁹ Return to your own house and declare what God has done to you. And he went his way and proclaimed throughout all the city what great things Jesus had done to him.

⁴ and forgive us our sins, for we ourselves also forgive everyone who is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

⁴ who gave Himself for our sins, that He might deliver us from this present evil world according to the will of God and our Father,

³ But the Lord is faithful, who shall establish you and guard you from the evil.

⁸ Now there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, shall give me at that Day; and not to me only, but also to all those who love His appearing.

¹⁸ We know that everyone who has been born of God does not continue to sin, but the one born of God guards himself, and the evil one does not touch him.
