⁶ And Jehovah said to Satan, Behold, he is in your hand, but save his life.

¹² And Jehovah said to Satan, Behold, all that he has is in your power. Only do not lay your hand upon him. And Satan went forth from the presence of Jehovah.

¹⁰ and set My limit on it, and set bars and doors, ¹¹ and I said, You shall come to here, but no further; and here your proud waves shall stop.

⁷ who stills the noise of the sea, the roar of their waves, and the uproar of the peoples.

²⁹ (For He had commanded the unclean spirit to come out of the man. For oftentimes it had seized him. And he had been kept bound in chains and in fetters, and he broke the bands and was driven into the deserted places by the demons.) ³⁰ And Jesus asked him, saying, What is your name? And he said, Legion; because many demons had entered into him. ³¹ And they begged Him that He would not command them to go out into the abyss. ³² And there was there a herd of many pigs feeding on the mountain. And they begged Him that He would allow them to enter into them. And He allowed them. ³³ And coming out of the man, the demons entered into the pigs. And the herd ran violently down a steep place into the lake and were choked.

³¹ And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan has desired you, that he may sift you as wheat. ³² But I have prayed for you, that your faith fail not. And when you are converted, strengthen your brothers.

¹³ No temptation has taken you but what is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but with the temptation also will make a way to escape, so that you may be able to bear it.

¹⁰ Do not at all fear what you are about to suffer. Behold, the Devil will cast some of you into prison, so that you may be tried. And you will have tribulation ten days. Be faithful to death, and I will give you the crown of life.

¹ And I saw an angel come down from Heaven, having the key of the abyss and a great chain in his hand. ² And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him a thousand years.

⁷ And when the thousand years have expired, Satan will be loosed out of his prison.
