⁵ I have made the earth, man, and the animals on the face of the earth, by My great power and by My outstretched arm, and have given it to whom it seemed right to Me.

²⁹ And God said, Behold! I have given you every herb seeding seed which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree in which is the fruit of a tree seeding seed; to you it shall be for food. ³⁰ And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the heavens, and to every creeper on the earth which has in it a living soul every green plant is for food; and it was so.

² And the fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon the animals of the earth, and upon every bird of the air, upon all that moves on the earth, and upon all the fish of the sea. Into your hand they are delivered. ³ Every moving thing that lives shall be food for you. I have given you all things, even as the green herb.

⁶ Whoever sheds man's blood, his blood shall be shed by man; for He made man in the image of God.

¹¹ For in six days Jehovah made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore Jehovah blessed the Sabbath day, and sanctified it.

⁷ For Jehovah your God has blessed you in all the works of your hand. He knows your walking through this great wilderness. Jehovah your God has been with you these forty years. You have lacked nothing.

⁹ And Jehovah said to me, Do not besiege Moab, nor fight with them in battle. For I will not give you any of their land for a possession. Because I have given Ar to the sons of Lot for a possession.

¹⁹ And when you come near, across from the sons of Ammon, do not trouble them nor be stirred up against them. For I will not give you any possessions from the land of the sons of Ammon, because I have given it to the sons of Lot for a possession.

²¹ a great and plentiful people, and tall, like the sons of Anak, but Jehovah destroyed them before them. And they expelled them and lived in their place,

¹⁷ the likeness of any beast on the earth, the likeness of any winged fowl that flies in the air,

²⁵ When you father sons and sons of sons, and when you shall have remained long in the land and have dealt corruptly by making a graven image, the likeness of anything, and shall do evil in the sight of Jehovah your God, to provoke Him to anger,

³² For ask now of the days past which were before you, since the day that God created man upon the earth, and from the one end of the heavens to the other end of the heavens, where there has been a thing as great as this, or has been heard any like it.

³⁵ It was shown to you so that you might know that Jehovah is God, and no one else beside Him.

¹⁶ Honor your father and your mother, as Jehovah your God has commanded you, so that your days may be made longer, and that it may go well with you in the land which Jehovah your God gives you.

²⁹ Yet they are Your people and Your inheritance which You brought out by Your mighty power and by Your stretched-out arm.

⁸ When the Most High divided to the nations their inheritance, when He separated the sons of Adam, He set the bounds of the people according to the number of the sons of Israel.

² My servant Moses is dead. Now, therefore, arise, go over this Jordan, you and all this people to the land which I give to them, to the sons of Israel. ³ Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, I have given that to you, as I said to Moses.

² So says Cyrus king of Persia, Jehovah, the God of Heaven has given me all the kingdoms of the earth. And He has commanded me to build Him a house at Jerusalem, which is in Judah.

⁵ The departed spirits tremble under the waters, and those who dwell in them. ⁶ Hell is naked before Him, and the Pit has no covering. ⁷ He stretches out the north over the empty place, and He hung the earth on nothing. ⁸ He binds up the waters in His thick clouds; and the cloud is not torn under them. ⁹ He covers the face of His throne, spreading His cloud on it. ¹⁰ He has described a circle on the surface of the waters to the boundary of light with darkness. ¹¹ The pillars of the heavens tremble and are astonished at His rebuke. ¹² He quiets the sea with His power, and by His understanding He shatters the proud. ¹³ By His Spirit the heavens were beautiful; His hand pierced the fleeing serpent. ¹⁴ Lo, these are the edges of His ways; but what a whisper of a word we hear of Him! And the thunder of His power who can understand?

⁴ Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth? Tell if you have understanding! ⁵ Who has set its measurements, for you know? Or who has stretched the line on it? ⁶ On what are its bases sunk, or who cast its cornerstone, ⁷ when the morning stars sang together and all the sons of God shouted for joy? ⁸ Or who shut up the sea with doors, when it broke forth as it came from the womb? ⁹ When I made the clouds its robe, and darkness its navel-band, ¹⁰ and set My limit on it, and set bars and doors, ¹¹ and I said, You shall come to here, but no further; and here your proud waves shall stop. ¹² Have you commanded the morning from your days, and caused the dawn to know its place, ¹³ that it might take hold of the ends of the earth; that the wicked might be shaken out of it? ¹⁴ It is turned like clay under a seal; and they stand forth like a garment. ¹⁵ And from the wicked their light is withheld, and the high arm shall be broken. ¹⁶ Have you gone to the springs of the sea? Or have you walked in search of the depths? ¹⁷ Have the gates of death been opened to you? Or have you seen the gates of the shadow of death? ¹⁸ Have you understood the breadth of the earth? Tell, if you know it all! ¹⁹ Where is the way where light dwells? And where is the place of darkness, ²⁰ that you should take it to its boundary, and that you should know the paths to its house? ²¹ You know, because you were born then. And the number of your days is great. ²² Have you entered into the storehouses of the snow? Or have you seen the storehouses of the hail, ²³ which I have kept for the time of trouble, against the day of battle and war? ²⁴ How is it, the way the light is distributed, and how does the east wind spread itself on the earth? ²⁵ Who has cut a channel for the flood, or a way for the thunderclaps; ²⁶ to cause rain to fall on the earth where no man is, a wilderness and no man in it; ²⁷ to satisfy the desolate and waste ground, and to cause the source of grass to spring forth? ²⁸ Has the rain a father? Or who has brought forth the drops of dew? ²⁹ Out of whose womb came the ice? And the frost of the heavens, who fathered it? ³⁰ The waters are hidden like stone, and the face of the deep is frozen. ³¹ Can you bind the bands of the Pleiades, or loosen the cords of Orion? ³² Can you bring the constellations in their season? Or can you guide the Bear with its sons? ³³ Do you know the ordinances of the heavens? Can you set up their rulership on the earth? ³⁴ Can you lift up your voice to the clouds, so that floods of waters may cover you? ³⁵ Can you send lightnings, that they may go, and say to you, Here we are? ³⁶ Who has put wisdom in the inward parts? Or who has given understanding to the mind? ³⁷ Who can number the clouds by wisdom; or who can empty out the jars of the heavens, ³⁸ when the dust is melted into hardness, and the clods cling fast together? ³⁹ Will you hunt the prey for the lion, or fill the appetite of the young lions, ⁴⁰ when they crouch in dens, and sit in the cover of their hiding place? ⁴¹ Who provides food for the raven, when its young ones cry to God and wander about without food?

²⁵ Of old You have laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the work of Your hands.

¹⁵ You are blessed of Jehovah who made the heavens and the earth. ¹⁶ The heavens, even the heavens, are Jehovah's; but the earth He has given to the sons of men.

¹⁰ who struck great nations and killed mighty kings, ¹¹ Sihon king of the Amorites, and Og king of Bashan, and all the kingdoms of Canaan, ¹² and gave their land as an inheritance, an inheritance to Israel His people.

⁵ To Him who by wisdom made the heavens; for His mercy endures forever. ⁶ To Him who stretched out the earth above the waters; for His mercy endures forever. ⁷ To Him who made great lights; for His mercy endures forever. ⁸ The sun to rule by day; for His mercy endures forever. ⁹ the moon and stars to rule by night; for His mercy endures forever.

⁵ Blessed is he who has the God of Jacob for his help, whose help is in Jehovah his God, ⁶ who made the heavens and earth, the sea and all that is in it; who keeps truth forever;

² Praise Him, all His angels; praise Him, all His hosts. ³ Praise Him, sun and moon; praise Him, all stars of light. ⁴ Praise Him, heavens of heavens, and waters that are above the heavens. ⁵ Let them praise the name of Jehovah; for He commanded, and they were created.

²¹ Have you not known? Have you not heard? Has it not been told you from the beginning? Have you not understood from the foundations of the earth? ²² It is He who sits on the circle of the earth, and its people are like grasshoppers; who stretches out the heavens like a curtain, and spreads them out like a tent to dwell in; ²³ who brings the rulers to nothing; He makes the judges of the earth as vanity. ²⁴ Yes, they shall not be planted; yes, they shall not be sown. Yes, their stump shall not take root in the earth. And He shall also blow on them, and they shall wither, and the tempest shall take them away like stubble. ²⁵ To whom then will you compare Me, or am I equaled? says the Holy One. ²⁶ Lift up your eyes on high, and behold, who has created these, who brings out their host by number? He calls them all by names by the greatness of His might, for He is strong in power; not one is lacking.

⁵ So says Jehovah God, He who created the heavens and stretched them out, spreading out the earth and its offspring; He who gives breath to the people on it and spirit to those who walk in it.

²⁴ So says Jehovah, your Redeemer, and He who formed you from the womb, I am Jehovah who makes all things; who stretches out the heavens alone; who spreads out the earth; who was with Me?

¹² I have made the earth, and created man on it; I with My hands have stretched out the heavens; and all their host have I commanded.

¹³ My hand also has laid the foundation of the earth, and My right hand has stretched out the heavens. I called; they stood up together.

¹³ And you forget Jehovah your Maker, who has stretched out the heavens and laid the foundations of the earth. And you dread continually, every day, because of the fury of the oppressor, as if he were ready to destroy. And where is the fury of the oppressor?

¹¹ So you shall say to them, The gods who have not made the heavens and the earth, they shall perish from the earth and from under these heavens. ¹² He has made the earth by His power; He has established the world by His wisdom, and has stretched out the heavens by His judgment.

¹⁷ Ah, Lord Jehovah! You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and stretched out arm. Nothing is too great for You.

¹⁵ He has made the earth by His power; He has established the world by His wisdom, and has stretched out the heavens by His understanding.

¹⁷ This matter is by the decree of the watchers, and the demand by the word of the holy ones, so that the living may know that the Most High rules in the kingdom of men, and gives it to whomever He will, and sets up over it the lowest of men.

¹ In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. ² He was in the beginning with God. ³ All things came into being through Him, and without Him not even one thing came into being that has come into being.

¹⁵ and saying, Men, why do you do these things? We also are men of like passions with you, and preaching the gospel to you to turn you from these vanities to the living God, who made the heaven and the earth and the sea, and all things in them;

²⁴ The God who made the world and all things in it, since He is Lord of Heaven and earth, does not dwell in temples made with hands,

¹⁶ For all things were created in Him, the things in the heavens, and the things on the earth, the visible and the invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers, all things were created through Him and for Him.

² has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, by whom also He made the worlds,

¹⁰ And, "You, Lord, have laid the foundation of the earth in the beginning, and the heavens are the works of Your hands. ¹¹ They shall perish, but You will remain. And they shall all become old as a garment,

¹¹ O Lord, You are worthy to receive glory and honor and power, because You created all things, and for Your will they are and were created.
