²⁰ There will not be an infant, nor an old man that has not filled his days. For the child will die a hundred years old; but the sinner who is a hundred years old will be despised.

⁴⁰ Therefore, you shall keep His statutes and His commandments which I command you this day, so that it may go well with you and with your sons after you, and so that you may make your days longer upon the earth which Jehovah your God gives you forever.

²⁶ You shall come to your grave in a full age, like a shock of grain comes in its season.

¹² Who is the man that desires life, and loves days, that he may see good?

¹² Though a sinner does evil a hundred times, and his days be made longer, yet surely I know that it shall be well with those who fear God, who fear before Him. ¹³ But it shall not be well with the wicked, nor shall he make his days longer like a shadow; because he does not fear before God.

¹¹ Woe to the wicked! For the evil doing of his hand will be done to him.
