⁹ Debate your cause with your neighbor; and do not uncover a secret to another,

¹⁷ The eye that mocks at his father and despises to obey his mother, the ravens of the valley shall pick it out, and the young eagles shall eat it.

¹² But you should not have looked on the day of your brother on the day of his alienation; nor should you have rejoiced over the sons of Judah in the day of their ruin; nor should you have enlarged your mouth in the day of distress. ¹³ You should not have entered into the gate of My people in the day of their calamity; also, you should not have looked on his evil in the day of their calamity. Nor should you have sent out against his force in the day of his calamity.

¹⁵ But if your brother shall trespass against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone. If he hears you, you have gained your brother.

⁶ Charity does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices in the truth,

¹ Brothers, if a man is overtaken in a fault, you the spiritual ones restore such a one in the spirit of meekness, considering yourself, lest you also be tempted.
