In all that Sarah has said to you, listen to her voice. For in Isaac your Seed shall be called. 13 And also, I will make a nation of the son of the slave woman, because he is your seed.

Galatians 3:15-21

15 Brothers, I speak according to man, a covenant having been ratified, even among mankind, no one sets aside or adds to it. 16 And to Abraham and to his Seed the promises were spoken. It does not say, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, "And to your Seed," which is Christ. 17 And I say this, A covenant having been ratified by God in Christ, the Law (coming into being four hundred and thirty years after) does not annul the promise, so as to abolish it. 18 For if the inheritance is of Law, it is no more of promise; but God gave it to Abraham by way of promise. 19 Why then the Law? It was added because of transgressions, until the Seed should come to those to whom it had been promised, being ordained through angels in the Mediator's hand. 20 But the Mediator is not a mediator of one, but God is one. 21 Is the Law then against the promises of God? Let it not be said! For if a law had been given which could have given life, indeed righteousness would have been out of Law.

Hebrews 8:6-13

6 But now He has obtained a more excellent ministry, by so much He is also the Mediator of a better covenant, which was built upon better promises. 7 For if that first covenant had been without fault, then no place would have been sought for the second. 8 For finding fault with them, He said to them, "Behold, days are coming, says the Lord, and I will make an end on the house of Israel and on the house of Judah; a new covenant shall be, 9 not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day I took hold of their hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt," because they did not continue in My covenant, and I did not regard them, says the Lord. 10 "For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put My Laws into their mind and write them in their hearts, and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. 11 And they shall not each man teach his neighbor, and each man his brother, saying, Know the Lord, for all shall know Me, from the least to the greatest. 12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities I will remember no more." 13 In that He says, A new covenant, He has made the first one old. Now that which decays and becomes old is ready to vanish away.

Hebrews 9:15-24

15 And for this cause He is the Mediator of the new covenant, so that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first covenant, those who are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance. 16 For where a covenant is, the death of him covenanting must be offered. 17 For a covenant is affirmed over those dead, since it never has force when The one covenanting is living. 18 From which we see that neither was the first covenant dedicated without blood. 19 For when Moses had spoken every precept to all the people according to the Law, he took the blood of calves and of goats, with water and scarlet wool and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book, and all the people, 20 saying, "This is the blood of the covenant which God has enjoined to you." 21 And likewise he sprinkled with blood both the tabernacle and all the vessels of the ministry. 22 And almost all things are by the law purged with blood, and without shedding of blood is no remission. 23 Therefore it was necessary that the patterns of things in the heavens should be purified with these, but the heavenly things themselves were purified with better sacrifices than these. 24 For Christ has not entered into the Holy of Holies made with hands, which are the figures of the true, but into Heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us.

Hebrews 10:15-18

15 The Holy Spirit also is a witness to us; for after He had said before, 16 "This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, says the Lord; I will put My Laws into their hearts, and in their minds I will write them," 17 also He adds, "their sins and their iniquities I will remember no more." 18 Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin.
