⁴⁰ And you shall make tunics for Aaron's sons, and you shall make for them girdles, and turbans you shall make for them, for glory and for beauty.

² And you shall make holy garments for Aaron your brother, for glory and for beauty.

⁴ And these are the garments which they shall make: a breast-pocket, and an ephod, and a robe, and an embroidered coat, a miter, and a girdle. And they shall make holy garments for Aaron your brother, and his sons, so that he may minister to Me in the priest's office.

⁹ And you shall gird them with girdles, Aaron and his sons, and bind turbans on them. And the priest's office shall be theirs for an everlasting statute. And you shall consecrate Aaron and his sons.

²⁷ And they made the tunics of bleached linen of woven work for Aaron and for his sons. ²⁸ And they made a miter of bleached linen, and the turban of the caps of bleached linen, and linen breeches of fine twined bleached linen, ²⁹ and a girdle of fine twined bleached linen, and blue, and purple, and scarlet, of needlework, even as Jehovah commanded Moses.

¹³ And Moses brought Aaron's sons and put tunics on them, and girded them with girdles, and bound turbans on them, even as Jehovah commanded Moses.

¹⁷ And it shall be, when they enter in at the gates of the inner court, they shall be clothed with bleached linen clothing. And no wool shall come on them while they serve in the gates of the inner court, and inside. ¹⁸ Turbans of bleached linen shall be on their heads, and shall have bleached linen undergarments on their loins. They shall not clothe themselves with anything that causes sweat.

⁹ In the same way also, I desire that women adorn themselves in decent clothing, with modesty and sensibleness, not adorned with braiding, or gold, or pearls, or costly clothing, ¹⁰ but with good works, which becomes women professing godliness.

⁹ But they who will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts which plunge men into destruction and perdition. ¹⁰ For the love of money is a root of all evils, of which some having lusted after, they were seduced from the faith and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. ¹¹ But you, O man of God, flee these things and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, and meekness.

⁷ In all things having shown yourself a pattern of good works: in the doctrine, purity, sensibleness, without corruption,

¹⁰ not stealing, but showing all good faith, so that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Savior in all things.

³ Of whom let not be the adorning of garments, or outward braiding of hair and wearing of gold, or of putting on clothing, ⁴ but let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, the meek and quiet spirit, which is of great price in the sight of God.

⁵ Likewise, younger ones, be subject to older ones, and all being subject to one another. Put on humility. For God resists proud ones, but He gives grace to the humble.
