⁸ And Moses took the blood and sprinkled it on the people, and said, Behold the blood of the covenant, which Jehovah has made with you concerning all these words.

⁶ And Moses took half of the blood, and put it in basins, and half of the blood he sprinkled on the altar.

³⁰ And Moses took of the anointing oil, and of the blood which was on the altar, and sprinkled it on Aaron, and on his garments, and on his sons, and on his sons' garments with him. And he sanctified Aaron, his garments, and his sons, and his sons' garments with him.

²⁴ And He said to them, This is My blood of the New Covenant, which is poured out for many.

²⁰ In the same way He took the cup, after having dined, saying, This cup is the new covenant in My blood, which is being poured out for you.

²⁵ In the same way He took the cup also, after supping, saying, "This cup is the New Covenant in My blood; as often as you drink it, do this in remembrance of Me."

⁷ In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace,

¹⁸ From which we see that neither was the first covenant dedicated without blood. ¹⁹ For when Moses had spoken every precept to all the people according to the Law, he took the blood of calves and of goats, with water and scarlet wool and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book, and all the people, ²⁰ saying, "This is the blood of the covenant which God has enjoined to you." ²¹ And likewise he sprinkled with blood both the tabernacle and all the vessels of the ministry.

⁴ For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins. ⁵ Therefore when He comes into the world, He says, "Sacrifice and offering You did not desire, but You have prepared a body for Me.

²⁰ Now may the God of peace (who brought again our Lord Jesus from the dead, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant)

² according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, in sanctification of the Spirit, to obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ. May grace and peace be multiplied to you.
