⁹ And it shall be a sign to you upon your hand, and for a memorial between your eyes, that Jehovah's Law may be in your mouth. For the Lord has brought you out of Egypt with a strong hand.

¹ And Jehovah said to Moses, Now you shall see what I will do to Pharaoh. For with a strong hand he shall let them go, and with a strong hand he shall drive them out of his land. ² And God spoke to Moses, and said to him, I am Jehovah. ³ And I appeared to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob as God Almighty. But I was not known to them by the name JEHOVAH. ⁴ And I also established My covenant with them, to give them the land of Canaan, the land of their travels, in which they traveled. ⁵ And I have also heard the groaning of the sons of Israel, those whom the Egyptians are keeping in bondage. And I have remembered My covenant. ⁶ Therefore say to the sons of Israel, I am Jehovah, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will rescue you out of their bondage. And I will redeem you with a stretched-out arm, and with great judgments. ⁷ And I will take you to Me for a people, and I will be to you a God. And you shall know that I am Jehovah your God, who brings you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians. ⁸ And I will bring you in to the land concerning which I lifted up My hand to give it to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob. And I will give it to you for a heritage. I am Jehovah! ⁹ And Moses said so to the sons of Israel. But they did not listen to Moses through anguish of spirit and through cruel bondage. ¹⁰ And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying, ¹¹ Go in, speak to Pharaoh king of Egypt, that he let the sons of Israel go out of his land. ¹² And Moses spoke before Jehovah, saying, Behold, the sons of Israel have not listened to me. How then shall Pharaoh hear me, since I have lips that are not circumcised? ¹³ And Jehovah spoke to Moses and to Aaron, and gave them a charge to the sons of Israel, and to Pharaoh king of Egypt, to bring the sons of Israel out of the land of Egypt. ¹⁴ These were the heads of their fathers' houses: The sons of Reuben the first-born of Israel: Hanoch and Pallu, Hezron and Carmi. These were the families of Reuben. ¹⁵ And the sons of Simeon: Jemuel, and Jamin, and Ohad, and Jachin, and Zohar, and Shaul, the son of a Canaanitess. These were the families of Simeon. ¹⁶ And these were the names of the sons of Levi, according to their generations: Gershon, and Kohath, and Merari. And the years of the life of Levi were a hundred and thirty-seven years. ¹⁷ The sons of Gershon: Libni, and Shimei, by their families. ¹⁸ And the sons of Kohath: Amram, and Izhar, and Hebron, and Uzziel. And the years of the life of Kohath were a hundred and thirty-three years. ¹⁹ And the sons of Merari: Mahli and Mushi. These were the families of Levi according to their generations. ²⁰ And Amram took Jochebed, his father's sister, for his wife. And she bore him Aaron and Moses. And the years of the life of Amram were a hundred and thirty-seven years. ²¹ And the sons of Izhar: Korah, and Nepheg, and Zichri. ²² And the sons of Uzziel: Mishael, and Elzaphan, and Zithri. ²³ And Aaron took Elisheba, the daughter of Amminadab, sister of Nahshon, for his wife. And she bore him Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar. ²⁴ And the sons of Korah were Assir, and Elkanah, and Abiasaph. These were the families of the Korahites. ²⁵ And Aaron's son Eleazar took his wife of the daughters of Putiel. And she bore him Phinehas. These were the heads of the fathers of the Levites according to their families. ²⁶ It was Aaron and Moses to whom Jehovah said, Bring out the sons of Israel from the land of Egypt according to their armies. ²⁷ These were the ones who spoke to Pharaoh king of Egypt to bring out the sons of Israel from Egypt. It was Moses and Aaron. ²⁸ And it happened on the day Jehovah spoke to Moses in the land of Egypt: ²⁹ Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying, I am Jehovah. You speak to Pharaoh king of Egypt all that I say to you. ³⁰ And Moses said before Jehovah, Behold, I am of uncircumcised lips, and how shall Pharaoh listen to me?

¹⁴ And this day shall be a memorial to you. And you shall keep it as a feast to Jehovah throughout your generations. You shall keep it as a feast by a law forever.

³ And Moses said to the people, Remember this day in which you came out of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. For Jehovah brought you out from this place by the strength of His hand. There shall be no leaven eaten.

¹⁶ And it shall be for a token upon your hand, and for frontlets between your eyes. For Jehovah brought us out from Egypt by strength of His hand.

³⁹ And it shall be to you for a fringe, that you may look upon it and remember all the commands of Jehovah, and do them; and so that you do not seek after your own heart and your own eyes, after which you prostitute yourself,

⁶ And these words which I command you this day shall be in your heart.

⁸ And you shall bind them for a sign upon your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes.

¹⁸ Therefore you shall lay up these my words in your hearts and in your souls, and bind them for a sign upon your hand, so that they may be as frontlets between your eyes. ¹⁹ And you shall teach them to your sons, speaking of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up.

¹⁴ But the Word is very near you, in your mouth and in your heart, so that you may do it.

⁸ This book of the Law shall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall meditate on it by day and by night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall act wisely. ⁹ Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage. Do not be afraid, neither be dismayed. For Jehovah your God is with you in all places where you go. ¹⁰ And these are Your servants and Your people whom You have redeemed by Your great power and by Your strong hand.

¹³ You have a mighty arm; Your hand is strong, and Your right hand is high.

⁹ for they shall be an ornament of grace to your head and chains around your neck.

²¹ My son, do not let them depart from your eyes; keep sound wisdom and judgment,

²⁰ My son, keep your father's commandments, and do not forsake the law of your mother; ²¹ bind them upon your heart forever, tie them around your neck. ²² When you go, it shall lead you; when you sleep, it shall keep you; and when you awake, it shall talk with you. ²³ For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life;

²³ until a dart strikes through his liver; as a bird hastens to the snare and does not know that it is for his soul.

⁶ Set me as a seal on Your heart, as a seal on Your arm; for love is strong as death. Jealousy is cruel as the grave; its flames are flames of fire, a flame of Jehovah.

¹ In that day Jehovah with His great and fierce and strong sword shall punish the sea-monster, the darting serpent, the sea-monster, that twisting serpent; and He shall kill the monster in the sea.

¹⁰ Behold, the Lord Jehovah will come with a strong hand, and His arm shall rule for Him; behold, His reward is with Him, and His work before Him.

¹⁶ Behold, I have carved you on the palms of My hands; your walls are forever before Me.

⁹ Awake! awake! Put on strength, O arm of Jehovah. Awake! as in the days of old, in the generations of old. Was it not You who cut Rahab into pieces, piercing the sea-monster?

²¹ As for Me, this is My covenant with them, says Jehovah; My Spirit that is on you, and My Words which I have put in your mouth, shall not depart out of your mouth, nor out of the mouth of your seed, nor out of the mouth of your seed's seed, says Jehovah, from now on and forever.

²⁴ As I live, says Jehovah, though Coniah the son of Jehoiakim king of Judah were the signet on My right hand, yet I would pull you out of there!

¹¹ And Jehovah shall utter His voice before His army; for His camp is very great; for strong is He who does His Word. For the day of Jehovah is great and very terrible; and who can stand it?

⁵ But they do all their works in order to be seen of men. They make their phylacteries broad and enlarge the borders of their garments.

⁸ But what does it say? "The Word is near you, even in your mouth and in your heart"; that is, the Word of Faith which we proclaim;

⁸ Therefore her plagues will come in one day, death and mourning and famine. And she will be consumed with fire, for the Lord God who judges her is strong.
