²⁴ That which is far off and exceedingly deep, who can find it out?

¹¹ For this commandment which I command you today is not hidden from you, neither is it far off. ¹² It is not in Heaven, that you should say, Who shall go up for us to Heaven, and bring it to us, so that we may hear it and do it? ¹³ Nor is it beyond the sea, that you should say, Who shall go over the sea for us to the region beyond the sea, and bring it to us, so that we may hear it and do it? ¹⁴ But the Word is very near you, in your mouth and in your heart, so that you may do it.

⁷ Can you by searching find out God? Can you perfectly find out the Almighty? ⁸ Heights of the heavens! What can you do? It is deeper than hell, what can you know?

¹² But where shall wisdom be found? And where is the place of understanding? ¹³ Man does not know the price of it; nor is it found in the land of the living. ¹⁴ The deep says, It is not in me; and the sea says, It is not in me. ¹⁵ Pure gold cannot be given in its stead, and silver be weighed as its price. ¹⁶ It cannot be weighed against the gold of Ophir, against precious onyx, or sapphire; ¹⁷ gold and the crystal cannot equal it, nor can it be exchanged for a vessel of fine gold. ¹⁸ No mention shall be made of coral, or of pearls; and the price of wisdom is above rubies. ¹⁹ The topaz of Ethiopia cannot equal it; it cannot be weighed against pure gold. ²⁰ From where then does wisdom come, and where is the place of understanding? ²¹ Yea, it is hidden from the eyes of all living, and hidden from the birds of the heavens. ²² The place of ruin and death say, We have heard the fame of it with our ears. ²³ God understands the way of it, and He knows its place.

²⁸ And to man He said, Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom! And to depart from evil is understanding!

⁶ Your righteousness is like the great mountains; Your judgments are a great deep; O Jehovah, You keep man and beast.

⁶ Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot go up to it.

⁸ For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor your ways My ways, says Jehovah. ⁹ For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts.

³³ O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments, and His ways past finding out!

¹⁶ who alone has immortality, dwelling in light which cannot be approached, whom no one of men have seen, nor can see; to whom be honor and power everlasting. Amen.
