²² For if you will carefully keep all these commandments which I command you, to do them, to love Jehovah your God, to walk in all His ways, and to hold fast to Him,

²⁴ Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave to his wife and they shall be one flesh.

¹⁷ You shall carefully keep the commandments of Jehovah your God, and His testimonies, and His statutes which He has commanded you.

²⁰ You shall fear Jehovah your God. You shall serve Him, and you shall hold fast to Him, and swear by His name.

¹³ And it will be, if you will listen carefully to My commandments which I command you today, to love Jehovah your God and to serve Him with all your heart and with all your soul,

²⁰ so that you may love Jehovah your God, and that you may obey His voice, and that you may cling to Him. For He is your life and the length of your days, so that you may dwell in the land which Jehovah swore to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give it to them.

³⁷ Jesus said to him, You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.

²³ who was glad when he had come and had seen the grace of God. And he exhorted all with purpose of heart to remain near to the Lord.

² For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy. For I have espoused you to one Man, to present you as a pure virgin to Christ. ³ But I fear lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve in his craftiness, so your thoughts should be corrupted from the simplicity due to Christ.

⁸ Now there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, shall give me at that Day; and not to me only, but also to all those who love His appearing.

² By this we know that we love the children of God, whenever we love God and keep His commandments. ³ For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments, and His commandments are not burdensome.
