¹⁹ Then the secret was revealed to Daniel in a night vision. And Daniel blessed the God of Heaven.

⁶ And He said, Hear now My words. If there is a prophet among you, I Jehovah will make Myself known to him in a vision, and will speak to him in a dream.

⁸ And the king of Syria warred against Israel, and took counsel with his servants, saying, In such and such a place shall be my camp. ⁹ And the man of God sent to the king of Israel, saying, Beware that you do not pass such a place, for the Syrians have come down there. ¹⁰ And the king of Israel sent to the place of which the man of God told him and warned him, and saved himself there, not once nor twice. ¹¹ And the heart of the king of Syria was enraged for this thing. And he called his servants and said to them, Will you not show me which of us is for the king of Israel? ¹² And one of his servants said, None, my lord, O king, but Elisha the prophet, who is in Israel, tells the king of Israel the words that you speak in your bedroom.

¹³ In thoughts from the visions of the night, when deep sleep falls upon men,

¹⁵ In a dream, a vision of the night, when deep sleep falls on men; while they slumber on the bed; ¹⁶ then He opens the ear of men and seals their teaching,

¹⁴ The secret of Jehovah is with those who fear Him; and He will show them His covenant.

¹⁷ As for these four boys, God gave them knowledge and skill in all writing and wisdom. And Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams.

²² He reveals the deep and secret things; He knows what is in the darkness, and the light dwells with Him.

²⁷ Daniel answered before the king and said, The secret which the king has demanded cannot be shown to the king by the wise men, the conjurers, the horoscopists, or the fortune-tellers. ²⁸ But there is a God in Heaven who reveals secrets and makes known to King Nebuchadnezzar what shall be in the latter days. Your dream, and the visions of your head upon your bed are these. ²⁹ As for you, O king, your thoughts came on your bed, what should happen after this. And He who reveals secrets makes known to you what shall happen.

⁹ O Belteshazzar, master of the horoscopists, because I know that the spirit of the holy gods is in you, and no secret troubles you, tell me the visions of my dream that I have seen, and its meaning.

⁷ After this I looked in the night visions, and behold, a fourth beast, frightening and terrifying, and very strong. And it had great iron teeth; it devoured and broke in pieces, and stamped the rest with its feet. And it was different from all the beasts before it; and it had ten horns.

⁷ For the Lord Jehovah will do nothing unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets.

¹² And being warned of God in a dream that they should not return to Herod, they departed into their own country another way. ¹³ And when they had departed, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream, saying, Arise and take the young child and His mother and flee into Egypt. And be there until I bring you word, for Herod is about to seek the child to destroy Him.

⁹ But as it is written, "Eye has not seen, nor ear heard," nor has it entered into the heart of man, "the things which God has prepared for those who love Him." ¹⁰ But God has revealed them to us by His Spirit; for the Spirit searches all things, yea, the deep things of God.
