¹² Fight the good fight of faith. Lay hold on eternal life, to which you are also called and have professed a good profession before many witnesses.

³ And you shall go to the priest in those days, and say to him, I profess today to Jehovah your God that I have come into the land which Jehovah swore to our fathers to give us.

¹⁷ You have today said that Jehovah is your God, and that you would walk in His ways, and keep His statutes and His commandments and His judgments, and listen to His voice. ¹⁸ And Jehovah has taken you today to be His peculiar people, as He has promised you, and to keep all His commandments, ¹⁹ and to make you high above all nations which He has made, in praise and in name and in honor, and that you may be a holy people to Jehovah your God, even as He has spoken.

⁸ My soul follows hard after You; Your right hand upholds me.

¹⁸ She is a tree of life to those who lay hold upon her; and happy is everyone who keeps her.

⁴ But a little while after I passed from them, I found Him whom my soul loves. I held Him and would not let Him go, until I had brought Him into my mother's house, and into the room of her who conceived me.

⁵ One shall say, I am Jehovah's; and another shall call himself by the name of Jacob; and another shall write with his hand, For Jehovah, and be named by the name of Israel.

⁵ And they shall be like mighty ones who trample the mud of the streets in the battle. And they shall fight because Jehovah is with them, and they shall make the riders on horses ashamed.

⁸ Also I say to you, Whoever shall confess Me before men, the Son of Man also shall confess him before the angels of God. ⁹ But he who denies Me before men shall be denied before the angels of God.

²⁸ And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. ²⁹ For whom He foreknew, He also predestinated to be conformed to the image of His Son, for Him to be the First-born among many brothers. ³⁰ But whom He predestinated, these He also called; and whom He called, those He also justified. And whom He justified, these He also glorified.

²³ and that He might make known the riches of His glory on the vessels of mercy which He had before prepared to glory; ²⁴ whom He also called, not only us, of Jews, but also of the nations?

⁹ Because if you confess the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved. ¹⁰ For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth one confesses unto salvation.

²⁵ And everyone who strives for the mastery is temperate in all things. Then those truly that they may receive a corruptible crown, but we an incorruptible. ²⁶ So then I run, not as if I were uncertain. And so I fight, not as one who beats the air.

⁷ in the Word of Truth, in the power of God, through the weapons of righteousness on the right hand and on the left,

¹³ through the proof of this ministry they glorify God for your freely expressed submission to the gospel of Christ, and the generosity of the fellowship toward them and toward all,

³ For though walking about in flesh, we do not war according to flesh. ⁴ For the weapons of our warfare are not fleshly, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds, ⁵ pulling down imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought into the obedience of Christ;

¹⁰ Finally, my brothers, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. ¹¹ Put on the whole armor of God so that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. ¹² For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the world's rulers, of the darkness of this age, against spiritual wickedness in high places. ¹³ Therefore take to yourselves the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. ¹⁴ Therefore stand, having your loins girded about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness ¹⁵ and your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace. ¹⁶ Above all, take the shield of faith, with which you shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. ¹⁷ And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God, ¹⁸ praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching to this very thing with all perseverance and supplication for all saints.

¹² Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect, but I am pressing on, if I may lay hold of that for which I also was taken hold of by Christ Jesus. ¹³ My brothers, I do not count myself to have taken possession, but one thing I do, forgetting the things behind and reaching forward to the things before, ¹⁴ I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. ¹⁵ And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which you also are called in one body, and be thankful.

¹² that you should walk worthy of God, who has called you to His kingdom and glory.

⁸ But let us, who are of the day, be calm, having put on the breastplate of faith and love and the hope of salvation for a helmet. ⁹ For God has not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,

¹⁴ to which He called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

¹⁸ This charge I commit to you, my son Timothy, according to the prophecies which went before about you, in order that you might war a good warfare by them,

¹³ I charge you before God (who makes all things alive) and in the sight of Christ Jesus (who witnessed the good confession to Pontius Pilate),

¹⁹ laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.

⁹ who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given us in Christ Jesus before the eternal times.

⁷ I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith.

¹⁴ For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast to the end,

¹⁸ so that by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us,

²³ Know that our brother Timothy has been set at liberty, with whom, if he comes shortly, I will see you.

⁹ Never give back evil for evil, or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary, giving blessing, knowing that you are called to this so that you might inherit blessing.

¹⁰ But the God of all grace, He calling us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a little, He will perfect, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.

²⁵ And this is the promise that He has promised us: everlasting life.

³ Remember then how you have received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. Therefore if you will not watch, I will come upon you as a thief, and you will not know what hour I will come upon you.
