² desire the sincere milk of the Word, as newborn babes, so that you may grow by it;

⁵ Although my house is not so with God, yet He has made with me an everlasting covenant, ordered in all things, and sure. For all my salvation, and all my desire, will He not make it grow?

⁹ The righteous also shall hold on his way, and he who has clean hands adds strength.

⁷ The Law of Jehovah is perfect, converting the soul; the testimony of Jehovah is sure, making the simple wise. ⁸ The Precepts of Jehovah are right, rejoicing the heart; the Commandments of Jehovah are pure, giving light to the eyes. ⁹ The fear of Jehovah is clean, enduring forever; the judgments of Jehovah are true and righteous altogether, ¹⁰ more to be desired than gold, even much fine gold; sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.

¹⁸ But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shines more and more to the perfect day.

³ Then we shall know, if we follow on to know Jehovah. His going out is prepared as the morning; and He shall come to us as the rain, as the latter and former rain to the earth.

⁵ I will be as the dew to Israel; he shall grow as the lily and cast out his roots like Lebanon.

⁷ They who dwell under his shadow shall return; they shall revive like the grain, and grow like the vine. Their scent shall be as the wine of Lebanon.

² But to you who fear My name, the Sun of Righteousness shall arise, and healing will be on His wings. And you shall go out and frisk like calves of the stall.

³ and said, Truly I say to you, Unless you are converted and become as little children, you shall not enter into the kingdom of Heaven.

¹⁵ Truly I say to you, Whoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter into it.

⁴ Therefore we were buried with Him by baptism into death, so that as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father; even so we also should walk in newness of life.

¹ And I, brothers, could not speak to you as to spiritual ones, but as to fleshly, as to babes in Christ. ² I have fed you with milk and not with solid food, for you were not yet able to bear it; nor are you able even now.

²⁰ Brothers, do not be children in your minds, but in malice be like infants, and in your minds be mature.

²¹ in whom every building having been fitly framed together, grows into a holy sanctuary in the Lord;

¹⁵ But that you, speaking the truth in love, may in all things grow up to Him who is the Head, even Christ;

³ We are bound to thank God always for you, my brothers, as it is right, because your faith grows exceedingly, and the love of each one of you abounds toward one another;

¹² For indeed because of the time, you ought to be teachers, you have need that one teach you again what are the first principles of the oracles of God. And you have become in need of milk, and not of solid food. ¹³ For everyone partaking of milk is unskillful in the Word of Righteousness, for he is an infant.

²³ having been born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, through the living Word of God, and abiding forever.

¹⁸ But grow in grace and in knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory, both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.
