⁴ that Jehovah may continue His Word which He spoke concerning me, saying, If your sons take heed to their way, to walk before Me in truth with all their heart and with all their soul saying, there shall not be a man of yours cut off from the throne of Israel.

¹ And when Abram was ninety-nine years old, Jehovah appeared to Abram and said to him, I am the Almighty God! Walk before Me and be perfect.

¹⁹ For I know him, that he will command his sons and his house after him, and they shall keep the way of Jehovah, to do justice and judgment, that Jehovah may bring upon Abraham that which He has spoken of him.

³ If you walk in My statutes and keep My commandments and do them,

⁵ And you shall love Jehovah your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might.

¹² And it shall be, because you listen to these judgments and keep and do them, Jehovah your God shall keep to you the covenant and the mercy which He swore to your fathers.

¹² And now, Israel, what does Jehovah your God ask of you, but to fear Jehovah your God, to walk in all His ways, and to love Him, and to serve Jehovah your God with all your heart and with all your soul,

¹³ And it will be, if you will listen carefully to My commandments which I command you today, to love Jehovah your God and to serve Him with all your heart and with all your soul,

¹¹ And even from the time that I commanded judges to be over My people of Israel, so will I cause you to rest from all your enemies. Also Jehovah tells you that He will make you a house. ¹² And when your days are fulfilled, and you shall sleep with your fathers, I will set up your seed after you, who shall come out of your bowels. And I will make his kingdom sure. ¹³ He shall build a house for My name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever. ¹⁴ I will be his Father, and he shall be My son. If he commits iniquity, I will chasten him with the rod of men, and with the stripes of the sons of men. ¹⁵ But My mercy shall not leave him, as I took it from Saul, whom I put away before you. ¹⁶ And your house and your kingdom shall be made sure forever before you. Your throne shall be established forever.

²⁵ And now, O Jehovah God, the word that You have spoken concerning Your servant, and concerning his house: establish it forever, and do as You have said.

³ And Solomon loved Jehovah, walking in the statutes of David his father. Only he sacrificed and burnt incense in high places.

¹⁴ And if you will walk in My ways, to keep My statutes and My commandments, as your father David walked, then I will lengthen your days.

²³ And he said, Jehovah, the God of Israel, there is no God like You, in Heaven above or on earth beneath, who keeps covenant and mercy with Your servants who walk before You with all their heart,

²⁵ And now, Jehovah, the God of Israel, keep with Your servant David, my father, what You promised him, saying, There shall not be cut off from you a man in My sight to sit on the throne of Israel-- if your sons take heed to their way so that they walk before Me as you have walked before Me.

⁵ then I will establish the throne of your kingdom on Israel forever, as I promised to David your father, saying, There shall not be cut off to you a man on the throne of Israel.

³ I pray, O Jehovah, remember now how I have walked before You in truth and with a sincere heart, and have done good in Your sight. And Hezekiah wept with a great weeping.

³ And the king stood by a pillar and made a covenant before Jehovah, to walk after Jehovah and to keep His commandments and His testimonies and His statutes with all his heart and all his soul, to perform the Words of this covenant which was written in this Book. And all the people stood to the covenant.

²⁵ And there was no king like him before him, who turned to Jehovah with all his heart and with all his soul, and with all his might, according to all the Law of Moses. And after him none rose up like him.

¹¹ And it will be, when your days have ended so that you must go to be with your fathers, I will raise up your seed after you, who shall be from your sons. And I will make his kingdom sure. ¹² He shall build Me a house, and I will establish his throne forever. ¹³ I will be his Father, and he shall be My son. And I will not take My mercy away from him as I took it from him who was before you. ¹⁴ And I will settle him in My house, and in My kingdom forever. And his throne shall be established forever. ¹⁵ According to all these words, and according to all this vision, so Nathan spoke to David.

⁹ Behold, a son shall be born to you who shall be a man of rest. And I will give him rest from all his enemies all around. For his name shall be Solomon, and I will give peace and quietness to Israel in his days. ¹⁰ He shall build a house for My name. And he shall be My son, and I will be his Father. And I will establish the throne of his kingdom over Israel forever. ¹¹ Now, my son, may Jehovah be with you and bless you, and build the house of Jehovah your God as He has said of you.

⁵ And of all my sons (for Jehovah has given me many sons), He has chosen Solomon my son to sit on the throne of the kingdom of the Lord over Israel. ⁶ And He said to me, Solomon your son shall build My house and My courts, for I have chosen him to be My son, and I will be his Father. ⁷ And I will establish his kingdom forever if he will always do My commandments and My judgments, as at this day.

⁹ And you, Solomon my son, know the God of your father and serve Him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind. For Jehovah searches all hearts and understands all the imaginations of the thoughts. If you seek Him, He will be found by you. But if you forsake Him, He will cast you off forever.

³ And Jehovah was with Jehoshaphat because he walked in the first ways of his father David and did not seek to Baals.

⁹ For evildoers shall be cut off; but those who wait on Jehovah, they shall inherit the earth.

²² For His blessed ones shall inherit the earth; and those cursed by Him shall be cut off.

²⁹ Also I have set his seed forever, and his throne as the days of the heavens. ³⁰ If his children forsake My Law, and do not walk in My judgments; ³¹ if they profane My Precepts, and do not keep My Commandments; ³² then I will visit their wickedness with the rod, and their sin with stripes. ³³ But I will not completely take My loving-kindness from him, and I will not be false in My faithfulness. ³⁴ I will not break My covenant, nor change the thing that has gone out of My lips. ³⁵ Once I have sworn by My holiness that I will not lie to David. ³⁶ His seed shall endure forever, and his throne as the sun before Me. ³⁷ It shall be established forever like the moon, and like a faithful witness in the heavens. Selah.

¹¹ Jehovah has sworn to David in truth; He will not turn from it; Of the fruit of your body I will set on the throne for you. ¹² If your sons will keep My covenant and My testimonies which I shall teach them, their sons shall also sit on your throne forever.

² For I will gather all nations to battle against Jerusalem; and the city shall be taken, and the houses plundered, and the women raped. And half of the city shall go into exile, and the rest of the people shall not be cut off from the city.

³⁷ Jesus said to him, You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.

⁶ And they were both righteous before God, walking blameless in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord.

⁹ As the Father has loved Me, so I have loved you; continue in My love. ¹⁰ If you keep My commandments, you shall abide in My love, even as I have kept My Father's commandments and abide in His love.

²⁰ But you, beloved, building yourselves up in your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, ²¹ keep yourselves in the love of God, eagerly awaiting the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to everlasting life.

²⁴ Now to Him being able to keep you without stumbling, and to set you before His glory without blemish, with unspeakable joy;
