¹² But we have not received the spirit of the world, but the Spirit from God, so that we might know the things that are freely given to us by God.

¹⁴ He will glorify Me, for He will receive of Mine and will announce it to you. ¹⁵ All things that the Father has are Mine. Therefore I said that He will take of Mine and will announce it to you.

¹ There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who walk not according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.

¹⁵ For you have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption by which we cry, Abba, Father! ¹⁶ The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are the children of God.

³² Truly He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?

²⁷ But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God has chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;

⁶ But, we speak wisdom among those who are perfect; yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the rulers of this world, that come to nothing.

²² whether it is Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; all are yours,

⁴ in whom the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving ones, so that the light of the glorious gospel of Christ (who is the image of God) should not dawn on them.

² in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now works in the children of disobedience;

⁵ Do you think that the Scripture says in vain, The spirit that dwells in us yearns to envy?

²⁰ But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know all things.

²⁷ But the anointing which you received from Him abides in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. But as His anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true and no lie, and as He has taught you, abide in Him.

⁴ You are of God, little children, and you have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. ⁵ They are of the world, therefore they speak of the world, and the world hears them.

¹⁹ We know that we are of God, and all the world lies in evil. ²⁰ And we know that the Son of God has come, and He has given us an understanding so that we may know Him who is true. And we are in Him that is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and the everlasting life.

⁹ And the great dragon was cast out, the old serpent called Devil, and Satan, who deceives the whole world. He was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

⁶ And he said to me, These sayings are faithful and true. And the Lord God of the holy prophets sent His angel to show to His servants the things which must shortly be done.
