⁵⁸ So that, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not without fruit in the Lord.

And He shall separate them from one another, as a shepherd divides the sheep from the goats. ³³ And indeed He shall set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats off the left. ³⁴ Then the King shall say to those on His right hand, Come, blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. ³⁵ For I was hungry, and you gave me food; I was thirsty, and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger, and you took Me in; ³⁶ I was naked, and you clothed Me; I was sick, and you visited Me; I was in prison, and you came to Me. ³⁷ Then the righteous shall answer Him, saying, Lord, when did we see You hungry, and fed You? Or thirsty, and gave You drink? ³⁸ When did we see You a stranger, and took You in? Or naked, and clothed You? ³⁹ Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and came to You? ⁴⁰ And the King shall answer and say to them, Truly I say to you, Inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brothers, you have done it to Me.

²⁸ Then they said to Him, What shall we do that we might work the works of God? ²⁹ Jesus answered and said to them, This is the work of God, that you believe on Him whom He has sent.

⁸ So he planting, and he watering, are one, and each one shall receive his own reward according to his own labor.

¹⁰ But if Timothy comes, see that he is with you without fear, for he works the work of the Lord, even as I do.

¹ Then having these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all defilements of flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

¹¹ I fear for you, lest somehow I have labored among you in vain.

⁹ But we should not lose heart in well-doing, for in due season we shall reap, if we do not faint.

⁹ And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in full knowledge and in all perception;

¹¹ being filled with the fruits of righteousness through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.

¹⁶ holding forth the Word of Life, so that I may rejoice with you in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain nor labored in vain.

³⁰ because for the work of Christ he was near death, not regarding his life, to supply your lack of service toward me.

¹⁷ I do not say this because I desire a gift, but I desire fruit that may abound to your account.

²³ if indeed you continue in the faith grounded and settled, and are not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which you have heard and which was proclaimed in all the creation under Heaven, of which I, Paul, became a minister,

⁵ For though I am absent in the flesh, yet I am with you in the spirit, rejoicing and beholding your order and the steadfastness of your faith in Christ.

⁷ rooted and built up in Him, and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving.

³ remembering without ceasing your work of faith and labor of love and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our Father,

³ so that no one should be drawn aside by these afflictions. For you yourselves know that we are appointed to them.

⁵ For this cause, when I could no longer endure, I also sent to know your faith, lest by some means the tempter may have tempted you and our labor may have been in vain.

¹² And may the Lord make you to increase and abound in love toward one another and toward all, even as we also toward you,

¹ For the rest, then, my brothers, we beseech you and exhort you in the Lord Jesus, that, as you have received from us how you ought to walk and to please God, so you would abound more and more.

³ We are bound to thank God always for you, my brothers, as it is right, because your faith grows exceedingly, and the love of each one of you abounds toward one another;

¹⁴ who gave Himself for us that He might redeem us from all iniquity and purify to Himself a special people, zealous of good works.

¹⁴ For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast to the end,

¹⁰ For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister.

¹⁵ By Him, then, let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips, confessing His name. ¹⁶ But do not forget to do good and to share, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.

²¹ make you perfect in every good work to do His will, working in you that which is well pleasing in His sight through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.

⁴ through which He has given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, so that by these you might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. ⁵ But also in this very thing, bringing in all diligence, filling out your faith with virtue, and with virtue, knowledge; ⁶ and with knowledge self-control, and with self-control, patience, and with patience, godliness, ⁷ and with godliness, brotherly kindness, and with brotherly kindness, love. ⁸ For if these things are in you and abound, they make you to be neither idle nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. ⁹ For he in whom these things are not present is blind and cannot see afar off and has forgotten that he was purged from his sins in the past.

¹⁴ Therefore, beloved, looking for these things, be diligent, spotless, and without blemish, to be found by Him in peace.

¹⁷ Therefore, beloved, knowing beforehand, beware lest being led away with the error of the lawless, you fall from your own steadfastness. ¹⁸ But grow in grace and in knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory, both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.
