²⁴ even to those who believe on him who raised up Jesus, our Lord, from the dead;

¹⁶ He who shall believe, and be immersed, shall be saved; but he who shall not believe, shall be condemned.

¹⁴ As Moses placed on high the serpent in the wilderness, so must the Son of Man be placed on high; ¹⁵ that whosoever believes on him may not perish, but obtain eternal life: ¹⁶ for God has so loved the world, as to give his own begotten Son, that whosoever believes on him, may not perish, but obtain eternal life.

²⁴ whom God raised up, having loosed the pains of death, as it was impossible that he should be held under it.

³⁹ For the promise is to you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off; as many as the Lord our God shall call.

³⁰ But God raised him up from the dead:

⁹ that if you will openly confess with your mouth, that Jesus is Lord, and believe with your heart that God raised him from the dead, you shall be saved. ¹⁰ (For with your heart man believes to justification: and with your mouth confession is made to salvation.)

¹⁸ that the eyes of your understanding being enlightened, you may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance among the saints; ¹⁹ and what the exceeding greatness of his power, in relation to us who believe according to the working of his mighty power, ²⁰ which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places;

²⁰ Now may the God of peace, who brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting institution, ²¹ make you fit for every good work, to do his will, producing in you what is acceptable in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom we the glory for ever and ever. Amen.
